A week ago, before the gun pointed behind Abi's head

Abi looks agitated. Something was weighing on his mind. It is seen every few seconds that he changes his sleeping position. Andika who is below him is automatically disturbed by his behavior.

“You why? Mules?” ask Andika.

Abi did not answer. It just stopped moving. But, it only lasted for a few minutes. Next, he again made a commotion which eventually forced Andika to climb into the top bed.

“What's wrong with you?” Andika asked with an annoyed face.

Seeing the ex-soldier annoyed until he came to her, Abi felt guilty and apologized. He sat down with enough space next to him, right on the side in front of Andika, as if it was deliberately reserved for the father.

Finally Andika realized that something was bothering her son. His facial expression was calmer and tried to find out what made Abi feel so bad. This is a great opportunity to be close to your child. He immediately took a position right beside Abi and leaned against the wall while staring at the ceiling, just as Abi was doing.

“What's wrong with you?” Now Andika asked him with a calm face and a soft tone of speech.

Abi looks doubtful, then starts asking, “Please, tell me what kind of Mr Jireh you know all along?”

Andika slightly did not expect the child would ask about the man with a face as desperate as now. Recalling that a few days ago he was still confident against master Jireh, it seemed like something had just happened that was very mentally knocking, typical of the creepy man's actions on every opponent.

“As I've been saying all along, I don't know him personally. I've never even met him. But, one thing was certain was that this prison was not a good place to fight against him. For that, if you really want to fight him, you better do it when you get out of this place.”

Abi raised one of his eyebrows. “Why with this prison?”

“Because this is the region under his control,” replied Andika. “Here he is not only the provider of the needs of the inmates of class 1 and 2. He also gave a lot to the head of the field and some important people related to this field. Naturally, he is free to punish anyone he considers an enemy in this place.”

Abi nods a small sign of beginning to understand Andika's worries all along as she fights lord Jireh.

“What kind of punishment does he give his enemies here?”

Andika sighed. He thought for a moment, then said, “I don't know for sure what kind of punishment. It was always someone we thought was his enemy would be summoned by a warden on the grounds that someone visited him. After that, the man never came back. After some time, his family was prevented from visiting him and suddenly they got news that the man had died of a deadly disease and was immediately buried for fear of being transmitted to other prisoners.”

For a moment, the mood was silent. No sound came out of their mouths. In the minds of the father and son were rolling their respective thoughts. Andika thought about whether lord Jireh would do the same to her son, while Abi thought of a more powerful way to provoke master Jireh.

Suddenly they were shocked by the arrival of a warden who knocked on their room door loudly.

“Detention 3438! There are guests for you,” said an officer who just arrived while opening the door of Abi and Andika's cell.

Back to the moment

Indira banged her head against the power pole. Right now, he could not think clearly. After his case with IKAKUM, he felt that nothing was going his way. Starting from the decline in the number of clients, the failure of the Milky Way press conference plan, the capture of the Milky Way on the charge of the murder of Mischa, he was not appointed as a lawyer for the Milky Way even though he had served as his legal consultant (this made public trust in his abilities plummeted), then coupled with the fire that hit the area where Abi lived and his fugitive Rama because of the murder case.

And what makes things even more complicated is the umpteenth time he failed to visit Abi. One of the guards said he was undergoing a few medical tests. Before the information was given, the warden gave other information related to the disease that was attacking Abi. He said Abi often coughs, diarrhea, fever and weight down drastically. He also has a small bump in his eye. The doctor thinks that there are possible symptoms of cancer.

“Sorry, who can accompany him only from the family side.”

Of course, Aunt Jenny is currently in a coma in the hospital and Rama is on the run. Other than the two of them, like Abi has no other family. Indira can only give up. Now, he could not know Abi's situation from a reliable source.

In addition to worrying about Abi and the possibility that cancer would eat away at him, he also felt a huge void in his heart at this moment. He is confused about who wants to complain to the problems he is facing. Indeed, there are some people he can be invited to tell stories, such as mbak Ratih or Rinjani, but only Abi who understands all the problems. Yes, because Abi caused all those problems.

In the midst of his busyness banging his head into the power pole, his phone rang. He received an incoming call. Call from Regina.

[I have received the results of the fire investigation in New Batavia. Looks like we can't do anything. They said the alleged cause of the fire was an ordinary electrical short circuit. No other cause or suspected culprit has been found]

“Then, you immediately believe the results of the investigation? Just so you know, I've seen them misanalyze the cause of the fire. Twice.”

[No human being is perfect. After all, that was only a temporary guess. I will also study again the results of his investigation and will pay attention to any irregularities that may exist. I knew Abi, Aunt Jenny and Rama long before you knew them. I also have a bond with New Batavia which is definitely much stronger than you. So, don't think that I didn't take this fire case seriously.]

Indira was getting upset. He thinks Regina wants to make it clear that she is closer to Abi.

“Alright, I believe in you,” Indira said in a slender tone.

[Then have you met Abi?]

“That's the problem. I was forbidden to meet with Abi because he was undergoing health tests because in recent days he showed symptoms of cancer such as cough, diarrhea, fever and weight dropped drastically. Can I trust the information from the prison warden? Ah, you will definitely defend your institution.”

[While their official name is POLSUSPAS, or the Special Police of Corrections, they are ASNs under the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia and are not part of the police force. After all, aren't you, as his legal representative, entitled to know the condition of your client, especially when it's such a severe pain? In fact, you should have the right to go with him, right?]

Indira. He did not remember at all that he had come as a lawyer, not as a friend who came just to vent. But, he did not want to admit his negligence in front of Regina, the woman he hated the most.

“What about the case of Rama? Are there any signs of it?” Indira tried to change the subject.

[Still nil. The evidence found was too strong leading to him. I will also continue to monitor his progress. I think of him as my own brother.]

Indira was upset.

[O yes, about Mr. Jireh. It looks like I have to tell you this, even though Abi has already banned it.]

Indira's forehead shriveled. He was very surprised that Abi kept a secret about Mr. Jireh and instead told Regina.

“Tell me. I'm sure that's not important enough information. Abi won't keep anything important from me.”

[Really? Abi thinks that Mr. Jireh is someone close to you. Is that not important information?]

Like being struck by lightning, Indira was very surprised to hear the woman's words. He could not speak anymore.
