Smiles still adorn the face of Indira after the MCB testing was completed. As Abi had guessed, it was still functioning properly. It greatly affected the course of the trial. As Indira said earlier, the condition of the MCB is still good to make an electrical short circuit is no longer the single possible cause of fire in the Mischa house. There is a possibility that the fire was deliberately set and that means there are new suspects besides Abi.

“How did you know that the MCB still works?” whiskey Indira.

“I don't know,” replied Abi casually. “How can I know better than more experienced damkar officers?”

Indira squinted her eyes with raised eyebrows and muttered, “You mean, you just guess what?”

“Not exactly guessed, but rather speculated. If the findings you got were true, a deliberately tampered MCB is the logical thing.”

“What if the abuser actually replaces it with a broken MCB?”

“Cannot be. Because the perpetrator has electrophobia.”

Indira surprise. He almost stood up in surprise.

“My guy? You know what happened?”

Abi did not answer and simply put his index finger on his lips.

“Brother witness, once again I ask Brother. Please answer honestly or you will be deemed to have sworn a perjury. Do you really not know that the MCB can still work?”

“I really don't know, Your Majesty. Physical characteristics do look completely damaged by electrical short circuit with a load that is too large.”

“Does anyone tell or direct you to report that the cause of the fire was an electrical short circuit?”

“No, Your Grace. The report I made was purely due to my analysis, mainly because of seeing the condition of the MCB, Your Honor.”

The judges discussed for a moment. Then the presiding judge asked Indira, “Brother legal counsel, there is still something to ask?”

“Still, Your Majesty,” replied Indira. “Please permission to show a video, Your Highness.”

After the presiding judge granted permission, Indira, with the help of several officers, played a video of a national television coverage of the fire suppression efforts at Mischa's home. The courtroom watched the video seriously.

“Brother witness, earlier Brother said that the damkar officer who you led arrived at the location when the fire was almost past the peak stage and will go into the fire stage subsided. According to my knowledge, when a fire enters the peak stage or full combustion stage, the development of the fire is greatly influenced by the dimensions and shape of the room, especially the width of the opening, and the, because the air in the room itself is not able to supply combustion completely. This condition is commonly referred to as a fire controlled by ventilation. The consequences that may arise are damage to the elements due to thermal stress, damage to the components of the supporting structure, then the collapse of the building. As seen in the video, when the new damkar officers arrived, the fire had spread to the top of the building. Moments later, the building began to collapse one by one.”

Everyone watched the video with the point of view given by Indira while waiting for what the woman was about to say.

“But, if we look carefully again, there is one part that turns out to have passed the peak stage, even the red stage is also almost finished.” Indira stopped the video and pointed to one part of the house that contained two luxury cars that had been charred with pointers. “This is a home garage. Although the size of the room was not as large as the other rooms, it was too soon for the garage to complete the subside stage when other buildings were still in the peak stage. Isn't that so, Brother witness?”

“Be, right. Except for one condition, that is fire comes from the place.”

“Doubt, Your Grace. Legal counsel concluded too quickly. This is quite dangerous because it can lead to the opinion that the fire came from an explosion in the garage. In fact, the evidence to lead to that conclusion does not yet exist.”

Indira and Abi stared at the man with expressions of pity as if they could see the destruction the prosecutor would experience.

“Cum adsunt testimonia rerum, quid opus est verbist,” murmured Abi slowly, so only Indira can hear it. “When the evidence of the facts is there, what use are the words?”

Indira then showed two pictures. First, a picture of a car that is already in a charred condition is burning. Second, the image of the fuel tank cover of one of the cars lying not far from the car.

“If noticed closely, the tank cover has no damage except because of fire burn. That is, it did not forcibly detach from its place. That is again, someone accidentally removed it.”

Almost everyone who was in the room and who was watching the trial was again surprised by Indira's words. The possibility of a new suspect is growing.

“Given the police had ransacked the house after the arrest of my client, if it was my client who did it, then, it is unlikely that no one is aware of a deliberately burned MCB and a removable car tank cap. That is, both things are done after a search or most likely before the fire. That is to say again, my client has a strong alibi not to do it.”

Indira kept her face away from the microphone while sighing. He was very satisfied with the argument he had just made. He felt the aura of victory was encircling him, especially because Abi gave a thumbs up to him.

“The possibility of a new perpetrator in this case should be taken seriously,” said one of the judges while examining the file on his desk. “Brother public prosecutor, any response? Or any questions for witnesses?”

Prosecutor Jerold did not hear from the judge because his mind was completely messed up. He closed his eyes while rubbing his forehead. Only after the judge repeated his question did he wake up. His eyes were on someone he was so afraid of. Now his mind is getting messed up.

Opposite him, Abi watched his movements closely. He realized the fear the man felt. Although the situation was now on the upper hand, Abi still did not feel satisfied. He was still looking for something more important to his life than victory in this trial.

The waiting room of the polresta was crowded with police who were watching the trial of Abhimanyu Alexander. One of them is Regina. It could be said that he was the most serious person watching the broadcast.

“Basic stupid prosecutor. What has he learned so far?” regina's grunts were heard by her comrades. He went back to sipping his coffee.

“Lho, that's your fiancee, huh?” ask Iptu Nyoman, her boss who also watched.

“True, Sir,” replied Regina in a annoyed tone mixed with embarrassment.

“Wouldn't your wedding be next month?”

“Delayed. Of course because of this case. We argued and I insulted him too harshly. But I'm not sorry, anyway. Just look at the television, how stupid he is.”

All of his comrades who had come to watch could only look at Regina in astonishment. He was always relaxed to talk about his personal problems in the midst of his colleagues. In fact, he also did not hesitate to talk about a problem that is quite personal for women, even though in his unit, only a few people who are one gender with him.

“You still don't have a filter for your mouth,” lamented Iptu Nyoman while leaving her and the room.
