Indira walked down the rutan aisle with excited steps. He heard a noise waiting for him in front of the rutan entrance. The voice must have come from the media crew waiting for his testimony, the lawyer of a suspect who stole the most attention at this time.

It's true that Abi said earlier, “You will soon also definitely get the media spotlight for being my lawyer. Just so you know, that position had become the seizure of many lawyers. So, you should be proud of it.”

Recalling those words, Indira smiled to herself. Of course, with all the risks he would face in the future, he should be proud to be the lawyer of an Abhimanyu Alexander. However, he suddenly hesitated to be able to face the press well considering that some time ago his career in the legal world was almost destroyed by mis-talking while in front of reporters.

“Hould be able! I certainly can,” his murmur braced itself.

Just stepping his feet outside the rutan door, the camera blitz had hit his eyes accompanied by various questions from the media crew.

“How is Abhimanyu Alexander's current state?”

“Are you appointed by the suspect or are you yourself offering yourself?”

“How are the preparations for the re-examination?”

“Will Abhimanyu Alexander sue the police who tortured him on the previous inspection?”

“Does Abhimanyu Alexander deny Mischa murder charges?”

“How about the evidence found in TKP? Does Abhimanyu admit it or suspect the TKP has been engineered?”

There are still many other questions thrown at Indira. However, the girl did not hear all those questions at all as she had already prepared the words to convey to the public through ‘mulut’ press. He was busy releasing a wild look at the crowd, like he was looking for someone. After feeling sure there was no figure he was looking for, he opened his voice.

“Include. I am Indira Christina from Indira Christina Law Office and Legal Consultant. Starting yesterday, I was appointed by Mr. Abhimanyu Alexander to be his legal advisor during the legal process for the case that befell him took place. Mr. Abhimanyu will do a re-examination tomorrow and I will be accompanied. For the previous incident, Mr. Abhimanyu stated that he would not file a lawsuit and considered that everything was finished because of the good faith shown by the police to him. On charges of murder and drug dealing, Mr Abhimanyu denies it completely and will prove it in court. We will fight for justice to be served. Not only justice for Mr. Abhimanyu, but for all drivers who may experience similar events. Geen straf zonder schuld, no apologies for mistakes.”

When he was about to leave the place with a feeling of pride for being able to finish his sentence coolly, Indira saw the confused expressions of the news seekers. Eventually he realized that he had misinterpreted the phrase Geen straf zonder schuld.

Ah, stupid me!

* * *

Abi laughed while watching the news about Indira's interview earlier this afternoon. He could not imagine how embarrassed Indira was at that time. His roommates who watched the news also laughed.

“Of course. He met the criteria of the lawyer I was looking for,” replied Abi who had just finished her laugh. “Only he can win my case.”

Dipo, a resident of the latest rutan who has just completed an examination related to online investment fraud, is interested in Abi's statement. He approached his roommate and said, “Absolutely looking for a lawyer is there a criterion? Isn't a lawyer's win rate based on his price and popularity?”

Abi looked at Dipo and smiled. He also replied, “Searching for lawyers is like looking for a mate. It takes commitment, trust and of course fit. Because, like a wife, choosing the wrong lawyer will destroy our future.”

The thin man with his hands full of tattoos nodded his head in a new sign of gaining a science that is valuable enough for someone who for the first time becomes a criminal case suspect.

Then, their attention was turned back to television. News of a female lawyer named Indira Christina continues. This time, however, with the latest topic.

“Who would have thought? It turns out that the lawyer who several times viral because of his ridiculous behavior was the son of a famous journalist named Jaka Pradipta Wijaya, or known as Jack Off the Record.”

Everyone was shocked to hear the name. Jack Off the Record is not a foreign name, especially in the world of journalism. He had a big hand in the revelation of various major scandals in this country. Prostitution case of a well-known private school most of whose clients are artists, gambling case of the board members who use the stock ‘give’ companies as bets, gambling case of the board members who use the stock of <TAG1>, cases of unnatural flow of funds from several commission leaders who have been considered defending the rights of small people to kidnapping cases that are closely related to the black market of organs where they also drag the names of some the largest doctor's office in the country.

Can he be called a hero? Of course not. It's no secret that he's a paid journalist. It is too clear that his attitude is always to defend a party and attack a certain party. For example, when the whole country was stirred by the news of tax evasion, he did not make a sound. He was caught on camera having dinner with a top tax director a day after news of the tax evasion broke. What he told was precisely the case of sexual harassment committed by a member of the council who was most intense in fighting for the evasion of the tax case.

“Wah, wow, wow. Unexpectedly, it turns out that the bumbling lawyer is the son of the ferret Jack,” as well as Tejo followed by the laughter of his cellmates. However, the laughter dimmed when he saw Abi's facial expression. “And you expected it?”

Abi laughed a little while nodding.

“Don't tell me you chose him as your lawyer because he's the son of the most jerky journalist in the country.”

“Not because of it,” Shall Abi. “But I can't lie if that fact doesn't make the situation any more pleasant. I want to make someone happy.”

The entire room looked at Abi who was still laughing small in astonishment. They really could not understand the mysterious man's way of thinking.

Meanwhile, elsewhere, an old man sat in his magnificent chair while watching the same news that Abi and his comrades were watching in the cell. Accompanied by his loyal assistant standing next to him, he laughed while clapping his small hands as if watching a show that entertained him.

“It turns out the young man wasn't as smart as I imagined. He thought hiring a stupid lawyer would win him over just because he was the son of a famous journalist. Unfortunately, the journalist was too much of a jerk to rely on. Sooner or later, Jack Off the Record will actually be a weapon to eat master for them,” said the old man with a laugh. “It looks like I'm getting older to worry too much about a proud young man just because he mentioned two chapters in front of the press.”

The old man stood up from his chair and walked out of the room. His laughter still blurted along with his still gallant steps. His assistant followed from behind, while the television was left on.
