In the hospital
Rama held back his tears because of the pain in his stomach due to the stabbing of Abi and the pain in his heart because it was left alone by Abi. Especially now that he had to sleep in front of one of the police guards.
Suddenly he heard the door open. A woman dressed as a nun carrying a talam greeted the policemen guarding inside. The woman immediately approached Rama's bed and checked the infusion.
“It looks like it's over. I change first, yes, sir,” said the nurse asked permission. Rama nodded slowly. He had trouble making a heavy sound like his brother.
The nurse finished changing Rama's infusion and again asked for permission. This time to check the wound in Rama's stomach. With doubt, Rama complied. If according to Abi's words, he should not feel worried because his brother has sewed his stomach very neatly. Absorb the results of the actual doctor sutures. Yes, Abi is very confident in the results of his stitches because he has sewed his own wounds many times. Since childhood Abi often carries injuries due to accidents while playing or because of fighting. Initially, Jenny's aunt, who was still struggling financially, sewed her own wounds. But because too often, he taught Abi sewing techniques.
However, Rama's premonition was not good.
“Wooh, why is still blood coming out, huh? Is the stitching problematic?” murmured the nurse. He then asked Rama, “ The stitches are a mess. This could be dangerous. Fortunately, it was immediately discovered. Did you move excessively?”
Rama was silent. He was still disappointed because he believed too much in the ability to sew the brother who turned out to endanger him.
Seeing Rama who was just silent, the police helped him answer the nurse's question, “So he had time to go to the bathroom with his sister. Long enough and they don't look good. Does it affect?”
“Can be. Looks like the patient's wound should be re-sewn,” the nurse said.
Rama surprised. He was afraid that he would have to be stitched again. His tears started to flow down his cheeks and he seemed to be asking for help, but did not know who.
All he could do was curse at himself who had to suffer this unlucky fate.

“Basic bastard,” umpat Indira. Yes, only one person could make him say rudely. Even only one person he called with the word call ‘kau’. He is Jack Off the Record. And despite hearing it clearly, Jack pretended not to hear it and continued to put on a friendly face.
“Are you in business here?”
“Go! I don't want to talk to you,” Indira told Jack in a snapping tone.
“Ah, surely my daughter is conducting an investigation. I heard one of your clients filed a lawsuit against this company,” Jack said. He pretended not to hear the expulsion from Indira. “Who are you here with?”
“Only myself,” replied Indira trying to cover her nervousness.
“Owny? Why are you sitting in the passenger seat, not the driver's seat?”
“That's part of my investigation. People passing by will definitely be more focused on looking at the driver. Hence, I am sitting here so as not to attract attention.”
Jack nodded as Indira's reply made quite a lot of sense.
“But, since when can you drive a car?”
“Who are you so I have to tell you when I can drive a car? Go then! You're just interfering with my investigation.”
“Padahan Papa wants to take you inside. Papa has an appointment with one of the CEOs of PT's subsidiaries. The Laras Jaya Karya. Maybe you need information from him for your investigation.”
“No, thank you. And stop thinking of yourself as our father. You are the father of others.”
Indira immediately closed her mouth. Despite hating Jack so much, he knew he had said something inappropriate to say. And sure enough, Jack's face suddenly moody and clearly seen he hurt with the words of his daughter.
“Alright, if you don't want to come. Papa go first.”
Indira is angry at herself for now having to look at her father's departure with guilt. Now he's like a bad loser to Jack.
A few years ago, when Indira was a teenager, Jack married another woman unbeknownst to Indira, Ratih and their mother. He even had a son from that woman. Even more sad is that Oma Heidi, Jack's parents who are also Indira and Ratih's grandmother, agreed. In fact, he forgot about the two of them because to him, a grandson is much more valuable than a granddaughter. According to family tradition, being able to have a grandson of a son is the highest honor one can achieve.
Unfortunately, as the grandmother waited for the end of her life with perfect happiness, the shocking news came. The granddaughter he was proud of died from being hit by a car while playing in a city park. At the time of the incident, his mother was looking after the child and he was negligent because he was busy talking to other mothers in the park. From then on, Oma Heidi hated her new son-in-law. He even forced Jack to divorce the woman and told her to marry another woman. However, after his second wife was divorced, Jack received a verdict from the doctor that he could not have children again.
The death of the child, the divorce and the verdict from the doctor made Jack suffered severe depression. It also affected his performance as a reporter. His bad deeds that once manipulated the news for money were exposed. He chose to disappear without a trace.
Having been left alone, Oma Heidi felt the greatest regret of her life. He seeks to reconcile with Indira and Ratih. According to him, dying accompanied by two granddaughters would be much better than without children and grandchildren though. Unfortunately, Indira and Ratih have been hurt and blame their grandmother and father for the suffering and death of their mother. And finally, their grandmother died unaccompanied by her descendants.
Upon returning from self-imposed exile, Jack tries to get close to his two daughters. However, as he had expected, he experienced a stern rejection. Especially at that time Ratih was married and Indira was able to live independently. They don't need it at all.
“Sucks. Why should I meet him at this place, at a time like this?” indira Gerrutu. He suddenly widened his eyes as if he remembered something important. “Why is he in this place, at a time like this? Gawat, he's going into that building. If he ran into Abi, he would be able to recognize him. He has a creepy instinct.”
Indira gets out of her car and calls Jack. The man turned his head and was quite surprised because his daughter, who had been cold, called him first.
“What's up, My daughter?”
Indira seemed to doubt. He wanted to reject the plan that came to his mind at that time, but there was no other way. For Abi. “What if we eat for a while. At the minimarket. I have something to ask you. Related to the case I'm dealing with.”
Jack looks gawking in disbelief. A few seconds later, he smiled and bowed his body in tribute and said, “OK, my daughter. With pleasure.”
