Abi looked around the room. Then, his gaze turned to the faces of the three men in black suits and with matching colored ties who had been looking at him seriously because they were waiting for an answer. They are the lawyers who offer help replacing Indira to defend Abi's case. He is no stranger to the situation, as an unknown lawyer arrives without an invitation to offer help he never asked for.
“Heart of Justice? Isn't that a tacky name for serious areas of work like advocates and legal consultants?” abi asked not intending to get an answer, only wanting to mock.
“We better focus on the offer we have submitted earlier, Mr.”, said the thin-haired lawyer almost bald, as if refusing to respond to the empty conversation from Abi.
Abi himself actually did not intend to joke with them, especially because their serious faces were seen to be holding a burden of life that was heavy enough that it had lost its sense of humor.
“Alright, we focus.” Abi straightened his seat and acted seriously. “I will consider your offer if you can explain why Indira Christina should be replaced and why do you feel you should be my lawyer?”
The lawyer sitting in the middle, who was the only one wearing glasses, put both his arms on the table as the support of his body began to lean forward. He said, “We already know his condition, Sir. We have self-confirmed the IKAKUM leadership regarding the dismissal of the advocate on behalf of Indira Christina. In other words, lawyer Indira Christina can no longer accompany you in the next trial.”
“Then? Not that you can come to this place and claim that you will replace my old lawyer without asking my opinion, let alone asking for my approval,” Abi said, deliberately in a high tone with the aim of intimidating. “After all, I don't know you guys, don't know how far you're capable of. May you send from my opponent who has the aim to make me lose.”
“Sorry, Sir. We want to defend Master because -”
“Do not call Sir. I was traumatized by that designation because a ‘tuan’ has always plagued my life the last few months,” cut Abi who can no longer cover the vexation on her face.
“Alright, uh, Brother. We behave like this not without reason,” said the bespectacled lawyer. He took out some paper from his bag and showed it to Abi. Someone has hired us to defend Mr. Uh, I mean, Brother.”
Abi watched the papers given by the lawyer carefully. He read a name on it. The name was unfamiliar to him, but somehow it felt close.
“Who is Andika Alexander? I never even heard of it,” Abi said while handing over the documents.
“He said that he was the real father of Tuan, uh, he meant, Brother.”
Like being struck by lightning in broad daylight, he was shocked to learn someone claimed to be his biological father. This was the first time he had heard of such a thing. Actually it's been a few times. But this time it was very reassuring and the one who said it was not a man who was in a serious relationship with his mother, as it had always been.
Her last name is the same as Abi's last name.

Abi's mind still wanders out of nowhere. He leaned his head against the wall and did not mind the exciting conversation between his cellmates. Not because many of his old cellmates, who he left before going to the hospital, were no longer there (some were free, but most had received verdicts and were transferred to the prison). He was still thinking about the real father revealed by the lawyers.
“Andika Alexander,” murmured slowly, but was heard by one of the prisoners.
“What?” ask the prisoner.
“No, I just mentioned a name.”
“Andika, right? I'm Andika.”
“Tell your mother that Andika's name is not good,” Abi said.
“But it's my grandmother's gift.”
“Yes already, tell your grandmother later, if you are free.”
“But, my grandmother died when I was a child.”
“Call it.”
The eyes of the prisoner named Andika suddenly water and soon he will cry. The other cell residents, who only heard Abi's name from media reports and got the picture that the man was a creepy figure who managed to destroy the police force in this country, he could only approach Andika and try to calm her down.
Tejo, the only long-time prisoner in the cell who knew Abi, was confused to see his partner acting strange. Abi is strange, but usually his strangeness describes his intelligence, not what it is today.
“What's wrong with you, Boss?” tejo asked as he approached Abi, who sat back in his arms, leaning his head against the wall.
“Entah, I am confused,” replied Abi.
“Your case is getting more complicated, huh?”
“My case has been complicated from the beginning. I am grateful for that, because I can be famous because my case is very complicated,” Abi said, again an oddity that does not show intelligence.
“Surely you are having a hard problem. Just tell me, that's what friends.” is for Tejo is still trying to help Abi out of the strange condition.
“Yes, that's what friends are for. Indeed, friends are more useful than real fathers. That's why I've had so many friends but no real father. Ah, it turns out my friend is not much.”
Tejo scrunched his forehead. He thought Abi had just lost a friend.
Then, a news caught their attention. The same news that Indira watched in the previous episode.
“Latest news. Some time ago, news broke out about the dismissal of Indira Christina from her profession as an advocate by the Association of Advocates and Legal Consultants, or better known as IKAKUM. As is well known, Indira Christina is a lawyer who recently became a conversation after becoming the lawyer of a convict who was going viral, Abhimanyu Alexander. In connection with the dismissal, the law firm Heart of Justice offered legal assistance to Abhimanyu Alexander. In other words, they volunteered to replace Indira Christina as the legal advisor of the man accused of killing artist Mischa and becoming the drug courier.”
Tejo looked towards Abi and finally understood the reason for the mess that had happened to the man. Must be because he lost the woman's lawyer.
“Patience, Boss. You don't have to be sad. You got a better lawyer than that woman's lawyer. Heart of Justice is a well-known law firm. He has a lot of great lawyers who will help you win your complicated case.”
Abi stared at Tejo sharply, as if about to pounce on him. Tejo was horrified by that gaze and tried to introspect the sentence he had just said. There's nothing wrong.
Then, in a soft tone barely whispering, Abi said, “They also have my real father's name and signature.”
