“Kakak Indira! Sister Indira!”

Rama's voice broke the silence of the morning. Indira who woke up from the sound of the bell peeked out from behind the window. After confirming who was disturbing his sleep, he opened the door of his office. Without first being invited, Rama went straight in.

“What's up?”

“Rama want to ask for help Brother. Rama-” The man stopped his sentence when he realized there was something strange about Indira. “New brother finished crying?”

Indeed, Indira's eyes look swollen. His clothes were the same as the ones he wore to court. As Rama guessed, he was crying. Last night he cried until he forgot to go home because he regretted the stupidity he had done in court.

“You want coffee?” Without waiting for an answer from Rama, Indira went straight to his coffee pot and brewed coffee for two glasses. He did not want to talk about his crying. Especially with someone like Rama. “So, what would you like to ask for?”

Rama receives a cup of coffee from Indira's hand then sips it with pleasure. He praised the drink before Indira repeated the question. “Our Mom. Our mama. You know, right, if mama Rama and mama Bang Abi are the same person?”

“Iya, know. You've said it hundreds of times.”

“So, our mama is now being held at the police station for setting fire to Totok's house. You know Totok, right? Bastard who was a witness in court yesterday.”

“Stupid! Why are you still able to relax now? We have to leave soon!”

Indira immediately put down her coffee and ran towards the sink to wash her face. He immediately looked into the mirror and made his appearance. She no longer wears any makeup. It's a precarious condition.

“Not that Brother himself offered me coffee?” grute Rama.

They also left the office. Indira several times failed to lock the door of his office in a hurry. Then his eyes explore to find Rama's unique motorbike. “Where are your Combat Grasshoppers?”

“I don’t know. I forgot to park it.”

“Lost?”

“Just forget. If you remember, I'll take it.”

“What if someone takes it?”

“Never and never will,” said Rama confidently. “I've forgotten to park it several times and no one has ever taken the Combat Grasshopper. It was because I set up a super alarm so that if anyone tried to steal it, there would be a commotion up to a radius of one kilometer.”

Indira could only stare at the strange Rama who was still whiny. “Then, what we ride now?”

“By that car,” said Rama while pointing at a blue mini car.

“You're cross-bred? Already have money to rent a car?”

“No. It's Rama's girlfriend.”

Indira bengong for a moment. But he could only stand still while walking to the car because he was tired of the answers of Rama who always sounded magical.

Along the way, Indira heard the chronology of house burning carried out by the mother of Abi and Rama. Eagerly, Rama told in detail, although he was not at the scene at the time. According to him, he did not need to look to know what his mother did because he was very familiar with the woman who is often called Aunt Jenny. And he did not blame his mother at all, but laid all the sins on Totok. That man was the cause of the madness that his mother had done.

“What does your mother look like?” ask Indira after feeling already know a lot of chronology of events from Rama.

“Our mama is a madman. Even for the residents of New Batavia who contained strange people, my mother was the craziest person they had ever met.”

Indira raised an eyebrow as if she felt Rama playing her mother's ball. "What's crazy?”

“A time he endangers himself to save a new person he knows, but at another time he will endanger himself to kill a person he has long known.”

Indira is still curious. The information provided by Rama has not been detailed enough to describe what Aunt Jenny looks like.

“Crazyer than Abi?”

“They are both crazy, but with their own path. Bang Abi is crazy with silence and relying on the law, while our mama is crazy openly and often without thinking long,”, Rama explained. “When he first came to Batavia Baru, he had made the entire cafe quiet. He had been hostile, but in the end everyone knows, because of him, New Batavia still exists.”

“How can it?”

“It's not madness, it's a positive thing.”

“I told you, he would endanger himself to save people. He threatened to expose the identity of striped men who did not want to use contraception. Some of them are officials. Almost every day he is terrorized, either from the citizens or from the office.”

“Ohhh,” Indira said as she nodded. His expression was flat as if not impressed by Rama's story.

Rama seemed to not accept the usual response given by Indira. “Ia mel*cur with a customer who is known to be an HIV sufferer using contraceptives to prove that the object is able to reduce the risk of HIV transmission. Fortunately, he survived until now.”

This time Indira gawked as proof of her confession to the madness of Aunt Jenny. Rama smiled with satisfaction, as if forgetting that he had just told one of the disgrace of his own biological mother.

Their car has arrived at the Gutter Wind police station. Indira and Rama get off the mini car. They immediately rushed to meet the police who were on guard.

“Jenny? There is no such name here,” the police guard said as Indira mentioned the name of the mother of Abi and Rama.

“Tirzha Dayani, Sir. That's his real name," Rama's errata were immediately understood by the police.

“Oh, the arsonist, huh? You guys ready?”

“I am a lawyer bu Tirzha and he is his son.”

“Sorry, but Tirzha's mom can't be found.”

“Why? Is he still being checked? He must be accompanied by his lawyer during the inspection.”

The police looked at them thinking. His fingers tapped at the table as if he was trying to make a difficult decision. Then, he called someone and spoke with a more serious face. This made Indira and Rama worried.

“Good, soon Tirzha's mom will be brought here. Please wait for a moment.”

Indira and Rama started to calm down a bit after the police said so. At least, they knew that their arrival would not be in vain.

“Anyway, Brother just see for yourself what our mama is like. She is a strong and tough woman. He's smart too, like bang Abi. Brother will definitely have no trouble defending him,” said Rama who made Indira nod.

Suddenly the sound of steps filled the hallway that was near them. Indira and Rama peered towards the passageway. The silhouettes of two people were walking towards them. Rama smiled as he knew one of those silhouettes. No doubt, it was his mother. He immediately stood up and prepared to welcome the woman he had always been proud of.

However, the smile faded as the figure of Aunt Jenny began to be touched by the sunlight from the entrance. His face was full of wounds and bruises. He just bowed as if he did not want his son to see his miserable condition.

“Mama!” rama shouted as he ran to hug his mother. “You guys do this again. Again! Before my brother, now my mama!”

Indira immediately looked at the guard police and pointed his index finger. “What are you doing? You guys must know this is wrong. You can be prosecuted for violence against my client.”

The policeman was silent, but a voice from the other direction answered the threat from Indira. It was the voice of the police who brought Aunt Jenny from the holding cell. His body was well-built with a brew on his face. On his left cheek was a burn scar, adding to the awesomeness on his face. He was wearing a jacket and pants made of jeans with a plain gray t-shirt. Everything looks shabby. His feet were wrapped in black boots that were already full of scratches. Rather than the police, he looks like a thug.

“You can't sue us. This mother who attacked us first and did not show a cooperative attitude. If you do not believe, we can show you the footage from the surveillance camera.”

“Still you can't beat him up like this. You guys -”

Indira's words came to a halt as the creepy cop brought his face closer to Indira's ear and whispered, “I know you're the bumbling lawyer defending Abhimanyu Alexander. I just wanted to give you wise advice, never fight the police like your client once did. You should cherish your life.”

Indira. He did not know whether the threat or the name Abhimanyu Alexander made him speechless. He could only see Rama still crying while hugging his mother.

“Abi won't let this. He will definitely destroy you,” said Indira. At least he has to defend his client a little.

However, the police were not affected. He continued his terror on Indira. He whispered again in his hoarse voice, “This cheer I will meet him. I can't wait to see his face when I hear what happened to his mother. Want to send greetings?”

Indira's mouth was locked. Why would that man want to see Abi? Does he have a relationship with Abi? Indira's brain could not think of the right answers to those questions. He only imagined how devastated Abi would feel if he knew his mother had been beaten by the police.

“Who are you really?”

The policeman was about to leave, but his steps were stopped because of Indira's question. He turned around and threw a smile while saying, “I? You could say I'm an old friend of your client, Abhimanyu Alexander.”
