The media this morning was enlivened by news of Rama's arrest. He was caught in an old house thanks to a report from one of the residents who felt suspicious because several times saw someone peeking from inside the house, even though the house had been a dozen years uninhabited.
Rama was captured in a shabby and apprehensive state. Since then, he has not eaten, drank or bathed. Seeing his fear so as not to show the slightest effort to get out of the house, it was indeed something good for him to be caught quickly because if it was a few days too late, he would die of hunger and thirst.
After the police press conference about the arrest was completed and Rama was thrown into the rutan, all attention was paid to Indira as his legal representative. He is pursued to give an opinion on the case and what his plan is to defend Rama.
“I haven't met eye-to-eye with my client. I have to hear the chronology from my client first before I can work out a plan ahead. To be sure, I will try as much as I can to be able to uphold justice for him and for the fair victims,” Indira said in front of news seekers.
“Did the suspect confess to his actions?” ask one of the reporters.
“So my client had said that he did not kill and felt trapped. So, I'll depart from that statement. He also mentioned that there was strong evidence that could prove that he was not the culprit. For fellow journalists and the public, please be patient waiting. We will endeavor to immediately find such evidence.”
After giving that statement, Indira prepared to leave. However, his steps came to a halt when someone threw a question about Abi at him.
“What about the appeal plan for the Abhimanyu Alexander case? The appeal deadline was only seven days since the verdict came out, whereas that time had long since passed. Have you given up on the Abhimanyu Alexander case, unlike anything you've ever said before?”
Indira turned around and looked for the questioner. A familiar face to him. Jack Off the Record, his real father. The man smiled as if he was mocking his own daughter.
At first, Jack thinks his relationship with Indira will improve after the princess invites him to eat, even if only in the minimarket. He has provided information that is quite important for Indira, namely about the death of Mischa. In fact, he did not use the information for his personal interests because waiting for the right time and when meeting with Indira it was considered the right time.
But, Indira disappointed him. That important information was not used at all, including in court. He let the judge decide that Benjiro was the perpetrator of Mischa's murder. Jack had hoped Indira to strike back through an appeal to the high court, but until now he has not appealed.
“It is better to ask the warden of the Maharaja prison. Since my client went in there, I was never allowed to visit him so to ask for his signature only I could not. In fact, on the last visit, I was still banned from visiting on the grounds that my client was undergoing a health test because the last few days showed symptoms of cancer. Imagine, even when he was facing a critical condition, my client had to be alone and could not be accompanied by people he knew, just because his family was in a condition that did not allow to accompany him. I, his own lawyer, was forbidden to accompany him. If I can now meet with my client, I will now appeal. Although late, I think the court will accept the reason.”
“You mean, Abhimanyu Alexander's current condition is unknown?” ask one of the reporters, followed by questions from other journalists.
“I don't know yet. For that, I ask the community to help me urge the Maharaja so that I can be reunited with my client.”
Jack's face changed when he saw Indira smiling at him. He realized that Indira turned out to use the question in question to trap it. Yes, Indira needs someone to discuss about Abi first so that he can confide about the treatment of the Maharaja prison warden to him. But, he was finally able to smile with satisfaction. At least, he knew that his daughter was still fighting. It could be, the information he gave first will still be used. Indira did not appreciate her father at all.
Her gut feeling was strong that her daughter was preparing for a big stunt that would make her proud again.

Indira sat down on the park chair while working on something on her laptop. He doesn't care around because he listens to music through his pink earphones. He is preparing an exception that will be used in the first conference of Rama in two days.
Suddenly an old man sat in the chair that was in front of him. He knocked on the table so that Indira realized that there was someone who wanted to ask for his attention.
“Pak Burhan?!” indira said a little screamed. Either because of surprise or because of the tight sound of the earphones still echoing in his ears.
“Busy?” ask the old man.
“That's how it is,” replied Indira. “I'm just drafting an exception for the case of Rama, Abhimanyu's sister Alexander.”
“Oh, the murder case. Looks like you want the case to be over soon because you can actually arrange an exception after the first trial.”
“For what delay it longer? After all, this is an easy case.”
“You have strong proof?”
Indira smiled as she received the question then nodded. “Ya, the most accurate proof. The day before the incident, Rama gave Shasha a doll that was stored in a surveillance camera. He intended to catch his girlfriend wet when sleeping with another man. Unfortunately, the camera has a built-in recorder function where the recording is directly to a storage media such as an SD Card that is also stored in the doll. I have to get the doll.”
Mr. Burhan's face turned pale. He had no idea what Indira was saying. He thought the woman's murder was perfect and left no trace.
“You can ask it directly to the investigator. Surely they already realize it.”
“Not really. The proof, from the results of the investigation they provided, nothing was written about the doll.”
Mr. Burhan thought hard. He knew he couldn't fool Indira with cheap tricks. He had to make Indira not try too hard to get the tape.
“I'll ask the prosecutor who handled the case. Incidentally, I knew him because he was one of my students. If there is any news about the doll, I will inform you soon,” promise Mr. Burhan who was replied with a smile by Indira.
“Thank you, Sir.”
Mr. Burhan felt a little relieved that Indira still believed him.
“About Abhimanyu Alexander. Have you really never met her?” ask Mr. Burhan, who made Indira look at him for a long time.
“I never met him. As I said in the media yesterday, the prison officer always banned me.”
“Then, what about the appeal? You can't do it without Abhimanyu Alexander. At least, you need his signature for the power of attorney.”
“No, I do not intend to appeal,” replied Indira who again made Mr. Burhan surprised. “Indeed, I originally had plans to do that. But, after the Milky Way sir was accused of plotting Mischa's murder, I was thinking of defending him. Thus, I can prove that Abhimanyu Alexander was really framed by Benjiro and that guy.”
“The guy? You mean, the big figure behind the reclamation of the island?”
“Ya, the person I told you about.”
“So, you mean that person is not the Milky Way.”
Indira gawked and laughed. “Not, that person is not as stupid as the Milky Way pack. Pak Bima Sakti is only used as his scapegoat. That huge figure was also much more evil than the Milky Way pack.”
Mr. Burhan's feelings seemed mixed when Indira called him evil indirectly. “So, who is that big figure?”
“We'll know that later. Anyway, I have to become the lawyer of the Milky Way pack first. The evidence I have will be in vain if I do not use it or if I use it in the appeal hearing of Abhimanyu Alexander. The stage should be bigger and it is the trial of the Milky Way pack, the gubernatorial candidate who is also a member of Sky Emperor.”
“So, what can I do for you? I will help you while not breaking the rules,” bargain Mr. Burhan with his gentle tone. Indira just smiled to welcome the kindness of the man who had been considered as his father. “You can tell me about the evidence you have, so I can give input so that in court later the evidence is strong enough to present.”
“No need, Sir. You just have to see it. I don't want you to get in trouble later.”
After that, they only discussed trivial matters, then a few moments later Mr. Burhan said leave. Indira looked at the man until his figure was no longer visible in her sight. Then, he made a call with his cell phone to a number.
“I've already told him everything. We just have to wait, whether the doll will soon be checked by the police there or not. If yes, then it is not wrong anymore. Mr. Burhan is Mr. Jireh,” Indira said with a tense face. “Give your phone to Abi. Something I want to say directly.”
