A few days earlier, Rama visited Abi

Rama still stroked his mouth in pain after receiving a loud slap from his brother. He realized that he had indeed made a mistake because he invited Indira into his brother's room. He was never allowed into the room by his brother, except for emergency situations.

“So, what does he think after looking at those documents?” ask Abi.

“Say, there's something strange about that document. As if something is incomplete,” replied Rama.

Abi tapped his finger on the table while thinking. Then, he said something with a very serious face and did not want his sister to forget a single bit of his words.

“Listen, I'll say something very important. So, look carefully and don't forget. One time, if you heard from me being stabbed, you're -”

“Abang punctured? By who? We should report to -” immediately

PLAKKK!

Rama was silent when Abi slapped him back. He remembered that his brother had just told him to listen carefully.

“You don't have to worry. Tell your mom not to worry. I'll stab myself.”

“A, what?!”

Rama did not believe Abi's words. How could anyone want to stab themselves?

“Has Brother gone mad? Why do that?”

“Hear first! If I do, then I really need to get out of jail. Not forever, but for a while. The only way I think about being seriously ill. Because the rutan clinic facility is very simple, patients who are seriously ill will be taken to the hospital. It is very difficult to be able to get a severe disease so injuring yourself is the most reasonable thing.”

“But, it is very dangerous?”

“No, if not hit the vital points and if not too deep. I've learned it and I'll definitely be fine. Hopefully the rutan doctor can provide good first aid and immediately take me to the nearest hospital,” hope Abi.

“So, what should Rama do after that?”

“Exchange places,” replied Abi who made aghast.

“Exchange places? That mean, teleportation?”

Abi's gaze turned back to full of annoyance, making Rama aware that he had mispronounced and he just lowered his head.

“You disguised as me and I as you. Just prepare some equipment such as bandages, knives, plasters and tools to install infusions such as tourniquets and IV needles. If you are confused, ask your mom. She definitely knows what it takes because she was once a nurse.”

“Ja, so, I mean Abang, Rama who will be the patient and Brother disguised as Rama, then Rama stay in the hospital and Abang go?”

“Iya. You finally understand too.”

“Be, means Rama's stomach was stabbed too? W, why?”

Abi sighed and brought his face closer to Rama to whisper something. “I want to meet Siti V. Were you the only one who met him?”

Rama was silent and his face looked pale. Then he said softly, “Alright, just stab Rama's stomach. It was much better than having to meet him.”

A few days earlier, when Indira visited Abi

Abi was confused because Indira wrote down a swear word that he believed was intended for him. He could see the veins on his lawyer's face. The paper in Indira's hand also looks scuffed because he is held with rage. Abi wanted to ask the reason for the anger through writing, but Indira was busy dancing a pen in her hand.

“While he's your old best friend, you should be careful with him. He seems very excited to find your fault. Yesterday I saw him visit the subscription club Benjiro.”

Abi ponders the writings of Indira. Though there is no need to bother looking at the names, because the people most associated with PT. Laras Jaya Karya is Jireh's own master. But he could only be silent. He still did not want to involve Indira into the feud between himself and Lord Jireh, even though that person openly wanted to involve him.

I can get it. But it's a little risky, and it might be against the law. Do you want to help?

“Yes, I know. Even though he was my old best friend, right now I only believe in whoever is on my side. I won't waste my time making up with him,” Abi said.

Indira was suddenly nervous when reading Abi's writing. His gut says his client will do strange and dangerous things.

What do you want to do? Do you want to run away and steal the data to the office of PT. The Jaya Karya?

“If you think like that, you should apologize to the person who was blatantly on your side. Not to him.”

Abi and Indira stared at each other. Despite her turn to write, Abi just held her pen and smiled. Then he wrote the same words as what he was going to say.

Sorry

“Sorry.”

The day before the stabbing

Abi sat on the toilet in complete darkness. As usual, he pulled one of the bricks attached to the wall and took something from it. This time not only a cell phone, but together with a folding knife and a lighter. Last afternoon Abi stole it from the rutan kitchen, when he was on duty to deliver new foodstuffs when they were carrying royong.

The blade of the knife was burned with a lighter and then he wiped it. Then, Abi inserted the knife, tucked it between his toiletries. His heart was beating faster than usual. He knew what he would do tomorrow would be risky.

Abi again read the article he had read a dozen times, namely about the anatomy of the stomach. He felt his stomach and practiced stabbing it with a finger, according to the safe location indicated by the book.

Then, his phone screen twinkled. He knew Mr. Jireh would call him tonight. Then he pressed the button to receive the call.

[It looks like my assistant likes it. She always said that she was very beautiful.]

Abi clenched his hand the sign of rage in his heart was already peaking. It felt like he was thrusting the knife in his hand into the man's neck.

“I told you, don't involve him in our feud.”

[I thought you might not have told him about me. Or even you didn't forbid him to come in contact with me again so he wouldn't curig. Then my assistant can still meet him.]

“Backed!”

[Come on, let two people build a romantic story between them. Or maybe you like it too?]

“I'm not interested in such useless things. I just want us to fight like men fight. Am I tough enough that you have to threaten me by approaching the people around me?”

The man did not answer directly. There was only the sound of laughter heard from across the phone. Abi tried to be calm even though every time mister Jireh laughed, his heart was always overwhelmed with a gripping feeling.

[‘How do men fight’? Attractively. I just told someone you're a real man, and I'm a real fighter. You better be careful because you'll lose if you expect your opponent to fight while upholding the same principles as you. Not only lose, you lose your life.]

Abi sighed. He seemed to not want to argue with anyone again, especially with Mr. Jireh. There's something big he'll do tomorrow.

“Yes, a true fighter will do anything to win. Tomorrow you'll see how far I go to win. Then, you can rethink whether belittling me is the right course of action or dangerous.”

Abi closed the call. His anger grew even more after translating Mr. Jireh's words as a threat to Indira.
