“For what did you bring me here?”
Hanna thinks Liam will drive her home, but Liam takes her somewhere. They stopped in a large and spacious building with a yard that was no less spacious. The yard was overgrown with flowers neatly arranged according to the type. Roses, begonias, hydrangeas, marrygolds, chrysanthemums, and many more, each of which has many types and almost all are in bloom. As Hanna stepped up, she could also smell the fragrance of the jasmine flowers which turned out to be in bloom as well, not far from where she stood.
“I just bought it and I adapted it to your personality. Do you like?”
There was a sense of haru in Hanna's chest, yet she was also quite surprised. He could not accept a gift of this magnitude from Liam. Just by looking at the area of this building Hanna can estimate the price because her work is also related to financial analysis. It's too expensive, and Hanna can't afford it.
“What did you buy it for?” Hanna.
The two stood face to face with different facial expressions. Hanna was very serious, but Liam was looking sumringah, as if he was indeed showing off to Hanna the steps she took as a form of seriousness.
“Don't I tell you we should stay together? I think your house.sorry.pretty narrow even though the effect is very comfortable. If just staying together might be good, but soon our child is born so we need a wider space. And..”
“What I said agreed?”
Liam's face suddenly changed. He looked at Hanna who turned out to not look as happy as in his shadow when buying this unit. Is something wrong?
“What do you mean?” sahut Liam's. “Again or not, we should stay together. How can I hold that baby accountable? Or, what do you really think of the word ‘responsibility’?" Liam made quotes with his finger.
“Hanna..” Liam approached Hanna, then clasped her hand to convince Hanna.
“...I know you object to my profession..”.
“Ngak also.” Cut Hanna fast. Who am I? Why should I object to your profession? That's your path, it has nothing to do with me.
“Let me finish it first.” Persuade Liam, still holding the hand of Hanna who suddenly realized it was very small.
“You like calmness, while my work is far from quiet. I understand why you object like that, because you must know I'm being watched by a camera for twenty-four hours. But I also can't escape from all the risks because this job is my dream. I'm not asking you to understand me and my world, but, let me stay with you so I can look after and take care of you and our baby.”
Highlight Liam's eyes were very shady, and also begged. And that's all Hanna's weakness. He will not be able to face Liam who pleads in this way –let alone while holding his hand.
“At first I thought this was all a mistake, but the more I got to know you, the more I thought it was the beginning of my adventure with you. So...”
Liam pulled Hanna's body until Hanna almost hugged him. Both of Liam's hands were coiled around Hanna's slender waist and gazed directly at Hanna's two eyeballs.
Hanna's two hands that she placed on Liam's chest to hold her body from coming into contact with Liam directly, slowly started to wander when she heard Liam's words trying to convince her, persuade her, and persuade her, give her reassurance - and sweet. Hanna surrender. Maybe Lona was right, this was a good start to her life. And maybe if they stayed together, it was likely that their feelings would grow into mutual love and love could come true.
“You are silent, that means you agree.” whispered Liam in Hanna's ear, barely making Hanna scream.
Hanna could at least hold herself back if Liam started treating her in a different way, like whispering, sniffing her body, she said, and there are many other things that often evoke his memory of what they have passed together.
“You want to look around our house?”
Of course Hanna would. He nodded, then with his hands still held by Liam, he followed Liam into the house that would be their future residence. Just thinking about the words of the future could make Hanna's heart soar, even making her want to scream out of happiness.
Hanna thought the type of house that Liam would choose was the types of houses with Contemporary architectural style in accordance with Liam's life. But who would have thought if this building is a farmhouse style? Almost the entire wall of the building uses wood with thick frames and floors that are also made of wood. Not to mention the arrangement of lights made as minimalistic as possible, simple but luxurious.
Hanna had stopped when they crossed the gym, where Liam had prepared some sports equipment inside.
“I know you like sports.” Liam –proud on his analysis. Hanna nodded in agreement, she did like the sport but this seemed to be a bit of an exaggeration. He can exercise in the yard or field near here if there is one.
“I've prepared our child's room here.” Liam showed a room that was quite spacious, but still empty. “I think you have the right to decide what to buy, so I deliberately emptied it.”
Hanna proud. Liam was very prepared and appreciated his opinion. He did not impose his will, at will buy their baby gear –when in fact it was all using Liam's personal money. Hanna felt that this time Liam was really ready to be a father.
Finally Hanna could breathe a sigh of relief as the two had already arrived at the back of the building with a one-meter-high guardrail made of thick wood with vast glass walls, make him able to see the scenery outside the house that began to dim because it was late afternoon. Hanna has to admit that all of Liam's preparations are near-perfect, the rest is the feelings of the two of them until everything will be perfect.
“I hope you like it. I...choose this carefully for a few days.”
“Good.” Hanna nodded her head.”But rather big. It might take a few months to adjust, but I appreciate your efforts.”
Liam laughed happily. After hurting Hanna, this was the first time she had seen the satisfaction on Hanna's face that was looking bright. Eventually he can make amends for Hanna, and then he will do everything so that Hanna will really only rely on him all her life.
“I know you're proud, but can you put it off for a minute? I'm a little hungry.” Hanna.
Liam had not had time to say anything as Hanna walked past him to return to the main door. But it actually makes Liam really like the attitude of Hanna –, which he thinks is just pretending to be indifferent.
