The breeze that felt moist blew away Hanna's thoughts. He sat on the porch of the house accompanied by a glass of his favorite chamomile tea because the aroma could calm his mood. Slowly drizzling began to fall, before long turning into heavy rain accompanied by strong winds. Hanna had yet to budge, her mind still fixed on the figure she was beginning to suspect. But why did he do it to me?
Hanna's eyes narrowed, she lifted her palm to close both of her eyes from the spotlight of the sedan lights that stopped in front of the house. From inside Liam was scattered running towards the porch of the house to avoid the rain. But even though he tried, his clothes were still wet. Liam cut off his coat that did not escape the rush of rain.
“Why are you out of this heavy rain? Come on in, you'll catch a cold.” Liam.
Hanna was still sitting with both of her legs raised onto the chair she was sitting on. His forehead shriveled at Liam's words. “Come in?” He smiled mockingly. “This is your home? Why are you here?”
“Hanna.” At least let me go in first because I'm really cold. “Night's wind is not good for our baby. If you don't let me in, yes, that's okay.” He placed three paper bags near Hanna. “I bought some pregnant women clothes because I realized your baby bump is starting to look.”
Shit, grumbled Hanna. Why did Liam always have a way to shake his heart? How am I going to kick him out if his attitude is like this? But I have to bear. Let him realize his mistakes first.
“You just go in, I'll hitch a ride on your terrace until the rain subsides. Later after subsiding, I will go straight home so you don't have to wait for me.”
“Good.” Hanna stand. “I'm also sleepy and want to rest.” He grabbed a paper bag on the floor. No matter he took the items purchased using Liam's money, after all this baby was Liam's baby as well. “Thanks make his clothes.”
Hanna shut the door. He let out a long sigh, trying to peek outside and seeing Liam still standing on his back. Her wet clothes could be seen from behind the glass and of course Hanna was pity and heartless. God, don't be stupid Han. Teach him a lesson, don't be too gentle with him.
After making the decision to abandon Liam on the porch of her home, Hanna immediately went inside the room. He rolled his body into the blanket because the rainy weather made the air temperature colder than usual. He glanced at the clock, half ten nights. Usually this kind of rain will stop for at most half an hour, so just let Liam go home by himself later.
Despite her heartache, Liam had to accept all of Hanna's treatment with sincerity. Isn't this something she deserves? It was still fortunate that Hanna would still allow her to meet and even still receive her gift. It's still better than being kicked out of Hanna's life forever.
Liam's eyes closed for a while, his head was still buzzing because actually his condition was not good. It had been almost a month that he had not slept regularly and his body had almost collapsed from exhaustion. Besides still having to do her activities as a very busy model, she also still has to find out who intends to hurt Hanna. Everything was swirling in his brain, making him anxious and always overwhelmed with worry.
Unstrongly standing up, Liam finally gave up and sat down on the porch seat of Hanna's house. The rain was still pouring down heavily accompanied by lightning striking in the sky that occasionally created a bright light of a split second. Liam started shivering as the clothes he was wearing were also wet and his body temperature started to rise. His throat began to feel dry probably due to the influence of his fever. Liam leaned back his body, then before long his eyes closed.
Hanna woke up shocked to hear the sound of thunder strong enough to make her house seem to shake. He gasped, staring at the clock that was already showing the number twelve. Oh, my God, I fell asleep. His intention was just to lie down while reading a book, but who would have thought that the book he read was on the –th floor might fall out of his hands.
The rain outside was still quite heavy and Hanna was sure Liam would have gone home. There's no way he's still waiting until midnight like this. Hanna put her body back down, but her mind riled. He sat down, decided to get out of bed and checked himself into the porch of the house. Hanna peeked out from behind the curtain and was surprised to see Liam was still there. Why is he still there?
Liam's face looked pale as Hanna approached him. “Liam, wake..” Why don't you just knock on the door? I didn't know you were still waiting here, I'm sorry. “Liam..you heard me?”
Suspicious of Liam's condition, Hanna pressed her palm against Liam's forehead and she was shocked when her skin came into direct contact with Liam's hot body like coals. Hanna immediately carried Liam into the house. “Don't take me inside..Hanna hasn't allowed me.” Liam was delirious, probably the effect of his fever.
He put Liam down carefully. Hanna grunts, exhausted. He saw Liam curled up to the blanket as soon as he realized he was in a warm place. “Open your clothes first. Everything is moist.” Hanna.
“Why didn't you help me open it?”
“Do not joke. I didn't bring you into the house because I forgave you. I just don't want to be the headline tomorrow that contains news about a famous model died in front of my house.”
“Your jokes are a bit extreme.”
“It's some of my clothes that are big size.” Hanna put some of her clothes on the bed. “You just choose which one to load.”
While Liam was changing his clothes, Hanna poured warm water into a glass. He also prepared other warm water inside the container to compress Liam. He took everything into the room and found Liam had fallen asleep again. Hanna smiled looking at the clothes Liam chose with bright yellow flowers.
“Liam, drink first.” Hanna wakes Liam up. She helped Liam sit down and handed him a glass of warm water. In one gulp, that glass of warm water instantly ran out. “Sleep. I'll compress you.”
Liam broke himself. She watched Hanna as she squeezed the cloth and put it on her forehead. Liam was lucky to know Hanna, so lucky. He did not care about Liam's popularity when he first met, he was indifferent yet his heart was warm, he was strong and great yet also gentle. Liam really likes Hanna, loves her a lot.
“I really made it very difficult for you.” Liam grabbed Hanna's hand. “Thank you so much Han has been in my life. I thought, maybe in my previous life I once saved this country so I could be reunited with a woman like you.”
“Do not talk much.” Hanna was still trying to keep her feelings from wavering. “You will be fine tomorrow.”
“Did I get an apology from you?”
“You used your sick condition like this to force me?”
Liam shakes. “I only asked.”
Of course it has. Don't you realize how easily you shake all my principles? Everything I say is inversely proportional to my true feelings and you are the cause. You always have a place in my heart, Liam. It's just that I still need to test your feelings for me.
“Sleep..” Hanna fix Liam's blanket. “You will be fine tomorrow.”
