Way Back To You

Way Back To You
I'm Letting Him Go

“Thanks for driving me home.”

Hanna was standing at the door of her house. His legs are tired, his body wants to immediately soak in a tub of warm water that can make him relax. In order to restore Hanna's mood, Liam invites Hanna to spend all day in the library. It was fortunate that Liam understood how to get Hanna back in spirit. But all of that actually makes Hanna a little tired because she also began to be affected by her pregnancy hormones.

“You didn't invite me inside?” Liam leaned his body on the car, looking at Hanna with a mischievous and ignorant look.

“I want to take a break.” Reject Hanna firmly.

“Yahh..” Liam is approaching Hanna. “While I still want to spend time alone with you.” Gently Liam rubbed his nose on Hanna's face to make Hanna's face redden and cause a warm sensation in her.

“Don't joke you.” Hanna encourages Liam, trying to reassemble his logic that suddenly disappears. "Don't forget about your identity, there could be people following you and taking pictures of you secretly."

Liam laughed mischievously, yet he agreed with Hanna's worries. He looked at Hanna deeply, cupping both sides of Hanna's face with gentleness. Highlight Liam's eyes were very shady. From there Hanna can catch how much Liam wants her.

“I still want to be here, not yet at five in the afternoon but you've already kicked me out. But if you really want to rest, I can't force it. Happy break, Han.”

Hanna nodded gently, then smiled. For the first time she smiled in front of Liam so warmly because she knew, she had to learn to accept Liam as her partner for life. Hanna needs to straighten out the misunderstandings between them, returning her full trust in Liam.

From cupping Hanna's face, then slowly caressing her face. Liam can't control himself. Especially with the gesture Hanna who like to have allowed it and not refuse at all, Liam really wants Hanna right now. But the romantic atmosphere they build must be disturbed by the arrival of a sedan car that stops in front of Hanna's house. Both of them turned their heads –waiting for who's coming. But actually just by looking at the type of car and license plate number, Liam can already guess who came.

“Bobby?” Liam's forehead shriveled, still he was surprised to find out if it was Bobby. Why is he here at Hanna's? If this is a work matter, isn't his arrival a bit excessive? What's he doing to Hanna's?

He took his hand off Hanna's face, and looked at his cousin who was already standing in front of him –both Bobby's hands were seen clenching each other. They stay quiet for quite a while, but from the way Bobby looks at Hanna, he soon finds out, the woman Bobby loves is....Hanna.

Liam gasped, astonished and also shocked. How could they chase the same woman? During this time, the two of them exchanged stories about the woman who made their lives change without knowing who the woman was. Apparently, that woman is Hanna.

“Honestly, you already know they're cousins?”

Lona and Hanna sit together, enjoying the twilight together by the beach. Not far from where they were sitting, Liam and Bobby were seen walking down the coastline together. Hanna took a breath, then nodded slowly.

“Hanna...” strangle Lona.

“Why are you quiet when you already know they're cousins?”

“I also just found out a few days ago.” muttered Hanna, feeling guilty.

“..when Liam said that Bobby was his cousin, I almost told him that Bobby liked me. But after I thought about it, I stopped saying it because I was afraid they were at odds. I did not expect that this time would arrive very quickly.”

“I'm really in shock.” Lona.

Hanna nodded in agreement. He was also quite shocked when he first found out, and now he was scared and worried. He set his eyes on Bobby and Liam who were already moving away from where they were sitting. Hanna was worried, what if they had a fight because of the emotion?

“I never thought, if the woman you always tell me about is Hanna.”

Liam opened up the conversation between the two. The sound of the waves colliding with the coral raises a loud sound but makes themselves peaceful. Actually Bobby does not want to go to the beach, but according to Liam, even though they talk seriously, the atmosphere of the beach can help calm their minds.

The golden light of the twilight sun slowly disappeared replaced by night. Decorative lights along the coastline began to light up. Not far from them, there was a group of teenage kids - probably still in high school, lighting a bonfire and playing guitar. The atmosphere is really very peaceful.

“I also never thought, if Hanna contains your baby.” Bobby flat.

“It...indeed it shouldn't happen.” Liam sighs.

“..but since I saw Hanna for the first time at the night club, I couldn't take my eyes off. He really caught my attention.”

Indeed indeed. Bobby also agrees that Hanna can make people fall in love with her at first sight. He had experienced it too, so Liam was not wrong at all. Hanna really has her own aura.

“I'm sorry.” Liam looked at Bobby.

“.. I know you love Hanna very much. But now that Hanna's condition is different, she's pregnant with my son and I can't give it up to you. Hanna will forever be mine.”

It was an affirmation sentence, stating if Liam would not play around with his future anymore. He won't give anyone a chance to take Hanna away from him, even if it's Bobby.

“Don't worry, I don't intend to snatch it from you.”

Liam frowned, not expecting Bobby to say that to him. He thinks Bobby and him are going to have an all-out debate, discussing who deserves to be next to Hanna. Liam knows very well that Bobby loves Hanna so deeply, but why would he just let her go?

“Hanna rejected me from the start. Actually, he already confirmed that he and I will not be together. I'm the one who's insistent, still hoping Hanna will like me.” Bobby breathed deeply.

That's so unpleasant. Bobby even felt that if his chest stuck, he could not breathe properly. But he had to do it, there was no other offer for this. Knowing Liam was the one Hanna had chosen, her pride was indeed slightly scratched, yet she also felt calm now. Liam is reliable, Bobby knows that.

“I hope you don't hurt Hanna..” Bobby looks.

He and Liam stood face to face, in almost the same position - both hands were in a bag of pants.

“...if you hurt her or she shed her tears just a drop, then I am the first one to come looking for you.”
