Way Back To You

Way Back To You
Caught

“She is fine, so is the baby in her womb.”

Bobby got back in the car after he spoke to the obstetrician who handled Hanna. Using the power of his connections, Bobby manages to find the profile of the doctor who handled Hanna and her contacts. They were still wearing the same clothes as they did not move in the slightest from the hospital.

“Thankful.” Liam hissed in relief, almost shouting.

Now he can breathe normally. Guilt plagues Liam's chest many times after learning what happened to Hanna. He wanted to grab Hanna's body, put her by his side and protect her every second. He wanted to make sure Hanna felt safe in his arms. But all that was just his wishful thinking at this time because Hanna was getting further and further away from her reach.

“She even handed us a copy of USG photo Hanna.” Bobby handed the black and white image on the thin paper. “For you.”

“Thanks.” Liam said sincerely.

He looked at the picture even though he didn't understand it at all. But it was her baby, her own. She had already done USG with Hanna but with a makeshift device and Liam only realized, after that she never accompanied Hanna to check her pregnancy again.

The previous ultrasound still continues to affect Liam and when he thinks about the baby, his tears will fall. He was happy to think that in this world he would have a blood relative, - his own flesh blood. Happiness is what makes Liam cry happy because finally he is able to admit and claim someone is a part of him without burden.

“Your baby's nineteen weeks old and he's healthy. I mean, there are a lot of things that the Doctor told me but I can't record everything in my brain.” Not in a state of such a state of turmoil. “But the point remains the same, he is fine. Oh yes, said the doctor should be soon Hanna can feel the movement of her baby.”

Although it sounds interesting and Liam has been waiting for it for a long time, of course he should be able to hold back first. All of this had to be resolved immediately if he did not want to linger apart from Hanna. And when that time comes, she will hug Hanna and will not let go again.

Even though they waited last night, they still could not get into the hospital. All those reporters were still filling around the hospital, for whatever reason. Bobby's already found out, no high-ranking officials or public figures have been sent to this hospital. Their guess, all those reporters were ruled by someone.

“Former Hanna was the culprit.” Noah said after he finished receiving a phone call.

Realizing Liam and Bobby are not at the club, Noah inevitably has to stop his lust for a while. Liam is still his responsibility because he is Liam –'s manager and he is much more important than his five-minute bed sport.

Liam turned to the passenger bench. “Jhon, he mobilized all those reporters.” Noah said once again.

I guessed it, Inner Liam. There are not many journalists there. It was all done by Jhon just so he couldn't see Hanna. The man was really sick and was getting obsessed with Hanna. If he realizes Hanna is worth it, he shouldn't have done something as cheap as cheating on her first. But it's also good, she and Hanna get to meet thanks to her carelessness.

“Means Jhon connected with someone who attacked Hanna on rooftop.” Liam. “Because this news is not known to anyone, and it is also impossible for your security officer to contact him, he is a nobody. So I can distort if he and the perpetrator are connected and it could be, all the things that Jhon does are the doer's orders.”

Liam's conclusion followed a nod of agreement from Bobby and Noah “Video syur was also definitely edited by the culprit.” Say Bobby again. “Whatever it is, he must be very good at using a computer.”

Liam agrees. They have CCTV footage of the incident. It was unfortunately CCTV cameras on the twenty-fourth and twenty-fifth floors were in thorough repair so they could not find the footage when Hanna was attacked. A person wearing a black robe came out from the equipment warehouse room on the twenty floor.

There were a lot of people coming in and out of the room, but strangely enough, all the janitors were recorded to be home at around five in the afternoon except for the night shift. Shift night there were five janitors and at the time of the incident they were all working in different departments –and everything was recorded on camera. Then who is he? Why would he be in Bobby's company?

“I'm very sure this guy's inside Bob.” He looked at Bobby again. “No way outsiders can memorize all the details of the room in your office and know Hanna's gestures. I'm very sure.”

“But who?”

Who should they suspect? Is it about love and feelings?

*

The woman was sitting in a dark room inside her house. He throws a small ball against the wall, then when it bounces he catches it again. He did it over and over again, until he suddenly cried out hysterically and threw the ball into the mirror.

Prang..

The fullbody-sized mirror was smashed into pieces. barefoot, he walked over the shards of the shard without feeling any pain as the pieces pierced through his thin skin.

“Cheap women, you may still survive.” his hiss full of hate.

“It should have been that night I dropped you down, not just strangled you. That's much better.” He regretted his actions after finding out his target was still safe, was still fine and had even returned to his home.

“Just wait.” she smiles grinning. “Because you are fun enough to be invited to play, then we will continue this game until you give up.” He laughed out loud.

“Hanna, for a while I will allow you to enjoy your days first and come back waiting for you off guard. Right now I will have a hard time approaching you because you must be very vigilant. But trust me, I will come back to you to continue what we have to continue. Hanna's.. You are like a little mouse that will not escape my clutches.”

"Never!"

**

Hanna peeked through the window of the room as she felt that someone was watching her. He caught a black shadow –two or more people, walking back and forth not far from his house. Out there, as the moon shone full and bright, the shadow was very clear.

“What's up?” Lona approached Hanna while applying lotion to her hand.

“Someone is watching us.” she is staring at Lona. “There are several people.”

Lona took a peek by flicking through a little of Hanna's window curtain. He caught the shadow Hanna meant.

“You think they hurt you?”

“Wait here.” Hanna tied up her unraveling hair.

“Where are you going?”

“Meeting them.” Hanna glanced at the wall clock. “It's ten o'clock at night, there should still be a lot of people who haven't slept in case anything happens to me later. I can scream for help.”

“No..” Lona nodded in disagreement. “Hanna, your condition is still risky, do not add other problems. What if they hurt you and you don't have time to scream?”

“How about you come?”

“Hanna.”

“I don't want to be haunted continuously Lona. They make me die of fear every time. No, I can't stay like this forever. I have to face everything myself.”

“But Han.”

Lona wasn't done talking when Hanna left the room. Inevitably Lona follows Hanna and secretly pockets a small pair of scissors in her hoodie pocket. The two walked back and forth towards an empty land beside Hanna's house. The land belongs to one of its neighbors which is only overgrown by a few mango and rambutan trees.

From behind the tree, Hanna saw three men wearing jackets sitting down. They were playing cards accompanied by light from neighboring lights that infiltrated the empty land a little.

“Who are you?” Hanna was standing behind them, thus making the three of them almost stray in shock.

Lona stands by Hanna's side. From earlier his hand he kept it in his hoodie pocket, prepared who knew they would attack Hanna. But instead of being aggressive, the three men in the jacket even seem scared – like someone who has been caught. He and Hanna look at each other, unsure if they're going to hurt Hanna.

“What are you doing near my house? If you guys don't talk, I'll scream now call the citizens.” threatened Hanna once again.

“Ma..Sorry Miss Hanna. We're just running orders to keep an eye on Ms. Hanna.”

“Observing?” hanna's eyebrows go up.

“True. We got an order from Mr. Liam.”

“Liam?” hanna and Lona together.

“True. Mr. Liam asked us to supervise Mother Hanna's house since two weeks ago.”

Wh-wh-what for? Didn't he dump Hanna? Why did he order people to look after Hanna as if she still cared about him?

“You can go back.” Hanna turned. “Tell your Master I don't need to be watched.” From now on, I'll take care of myself.

“No Ma'am. We cannot leave this place if it is not Mr. Liam who ordered directly.”

Hanna turned her head, she smiled wryly. “What is he?”

Their conversation had to stop for a moment when one of Liam's messenger phones rang. “If it's Liam, please activate the speaker. You can talk freely, let's just say we're not here.” Hanna's orders and that person's according to Hanna.

“Halo Pak Liam.”

“You guys are still there? How are things around Hanna's house?”

Hanna's heart beat fast when she heard Liam's voice. Her way of speaking as if she cared a lot, was very contrary to the way she spoke when telling Hanna about her decision to part ways. And the tone of his voice is also different, sounding like.

“Everything is safe Sir. And.” The man looked at Hanna. Hanna shook her head, gesturing for her not to tell Liam if she was there.

“And what? Any problems?”

“No Sir. Everything is safe.”

Hanna and Lona looked at each other and were both filled with confusion. No, Liam shouldn't still care about Hanna, unless..

“Why did you send your people to me when you yourself asked for my farewell?” hanna suddenly.

He couldn't help himself. He was confused by Liam's personality treating him as if he was a fool.

“Hanna..” Liam's voice sounded in shock.

“True, it's me. Tell me why you're still monitoring me after what you said back then.”

If you've asked to part ways, you should at least completely leave me. Don't leave your tracks around me so I don't have trouble moving on with my life. If you were like this, I would feel if you actually still wanted me. Don't confuse me with your attitude.

“Meet me right now and explain all this to me.”
