Way Back To You

Way Back To You
Secrets of the Past

A buzzing sound rang out as Hanna's upper arm was wrapped in a tensimeter cuff. He exerted his strength to open his eyelids in order to see the surroundings. He was in the hospital, next to him stood a nurse and his hand was stuck in an infusion needle. Hanna couldn't remember much of why she could be in the hospital, all she remembered was her quarrel with Liam – and also her tone of voice.

Hanna's body was still heavy and limp and her adrenaline instantly increased while she remembered her baby. My baby! Is my baby okay? Hanna immediately sat down to make the nurse measuring her tension surprised.

“How about my baby? Is she okay?”

The nurse breathed because she was still shocked. He nodded gently, while fixing Hanna's blanket. “Baby Mom is fine, soon Mom will be taken to the USG room but last night the doctor checked her heartbeat. Her beats are strong and normal, so she must be fine.”

Hanna lowered her head, rubbing her stomach while smiling. The nurse again ordered Hanna to lie down because she would be cleaned soon. Hanna relieved. Even if the heart is still beating, it means that the baby is still alive and well. That was more than enough for him.

“You're up.” Lona came to breakfast. He immediately sat down beside Hanna and checked on her, making sure that Hanna was okay. “We were worried half dead last night, tau.” Sung at.

“Sorry, I trouble you.” Hanna looked at Lona solemnly. “But you're the only one I can always count on."

“You fought with him? What's the problem now?”

Hanna sat back down, she leaned back her body. While taking a deep breath, he looked at Lona. “He yelled at me, mad at me for hiding this from him. I told him I had no intention of lying to him at all. I just wanted to find the right time, but he didn't believe me and instead scolded me.” Hanna.

Frankly, Hanna thought she might change her mind. The temprament side of Liam makes Hanna afraid and her guts are always shrunk if you remember her. Understandably, Hanna grew up in a family that almost never fought –maybe her parents had a fight but secretly and not in front of her. It made Hanna grow into a gentle but firm person. And Liam was probably the first rang to scold him with such a tone.

The two turned their heads toward the bathroom door, as Bobby walked out and smiled. Hanna's face turned red, she looked at Lona, whispering “Why didn't you tell Bobby here?” However, the person he was talking about was Bobby's cousin. Although they can be considered rivals, but blood relations are certainly more than anything.

“Hanna, I know maybe you don't fully trust Liam yet. But, I want to tell you something about the secrets of his past that might change the way you look at him, especially you, Han.”

“Consecration?” hanna's forehead frowned. What secrets does Liam have?

After dragging the chair to the side of Hanna's bed, Bobby sat up straight. He rubbed his palms before speaking. “Do you know Liam is not my cousin? You don't wonder why he didn't carry the surname Andrews, instead using the name Andreas behind his name?”

Hanna didn't say. He was not curious, but he did not know at all. If it wasn't for Bobby saying it just now, he wouldn't have known at all the surname Liam used was different from the one Bobby wore. He doesn't know at all.

“She is an adopted child.”.

Hanna admitted that she was quite shocked to hear Liam's unexpected identity. Liam is the only child of property entrepreneur Midian Andrews. There has never been a source to mention she was an adopted child. Did Bobby lie to him to return his sympathy to Liam?

“...he was abandoned by his parents in front of the orphanage. When found, she almost died but the orphanage immediately took her to the hospital, and during her childhood in the orphanage, she became a target of bullying because of her handsome face. The incident caused a huge trauma that made it difficult to manage his emotions.”

That bad? So that was the reason why she could suddenly be sweet and gentle, yet instantly be angry? So all that happened because he was injured in the past when he was a child?

Bobby looked sincere, there was no impression of intrigue in all his words. So Liam carried that much pain all along?

“I think, Liam will never be serious to anyone because he has never promised not to marry and bond with women. When he told me there was a woman who claimed to be impregnated by him, for the first time he was worried, upset and anxious. I didn't expect that woman to be you, and I didn't expect that Liam would change his principles for the sake of your baby.”

Hanna. She remembered Liam's words to her back then. Because of one thing, I can't commit. So this one thing means it's his past?

“So Han.” Bobby looked at him sincerely. “Please understand him more. Because of that Liam, I can be relieved to hand you over to him and choose to give up. I'm sure, you can help him treat his heart wounds in the past. Even if he seems a little arrogant or prestige, believe me, it's just outside. I've known him for years, I can confirm if he's a good man.”

There was no answer, the atmosphere of the room was silent. Their conversation had to come to a halt when a doctor came in to check on Hanna, and throughout the examination, Hanna kept thinking about what Bobby said about Liam. So, he just misunderstood Liam?

*

Rebellious applause filled the room, but left a big question mark inside Liam. Liam's facial features turned hardened, his jaw tightened and his face flushed red hearing what Bradley and Veronica had said. He silently looked at Noah from the podium, as if instantly understanding, Noah shook his head, making a cross on the chest with both hands. Not me, I don't know anything about this. That should be true because Liam knows Noah so well. He will not do anything reckless about Liam's personal life – meeting Hanna at that time was a different thing.

“Liam, you agree right?” whispered Veronica. The middle-aged woman's hand was placed on Liam's waist.

“If I say no, what will you do?” whispered Liam with sharp eyes.

“You certainly know what we're going to do.” the woman grinned, patting Liam's shoulder a few times before flipping her body back to face the guests.

That threatening tone did not make Liam tremble at all. The only woman in her life is Hanna, and she's carrying her baby. There was no way she was engaged to another woman other than Hanna. Even if he had to risk his career and future, he did not care. Hanna was his current future and he was unwilling to exchange her for anything.

“Everything.” Liam snatched the microphone from Bradley's hand, not caring about the glare of Veronica's glaring eyes. “Today's special announcement is actually just..”.

“Do you still want your baby to survive?” faintly Liam heard Veronica's half-whispering voice, filled with a threatening tone. Liam turned his head, he was surprised instead of playing. “Maybe, I could have the doctor inject something into Hanna's body.” Veronica glanced, smiling wickedly at Liam.

“What do you mean?” Liam kept the micorophone out of his mouth. He looked at Veronica sharply, his hands clenched firmly so that the path of his veins could be clearly seen. “What did you do to Hanna?”

“Nothing, oh, I mean, not yet. Maybe if you want to cooperate with my plan, that damn woman could be fine with her baby of course. But if you act, I can't guarantee it.”

Veronica's whisper was cold and piercing like a demonic voice piercing through her bones. It turns out that all this time he was just a pawn for them and when they found out there was a woman who was going to get into Liam's life, they were not willing. But Liam was also not the boy yesterday afternoon who when threatened would raise the white flag. No. gabe. They're looking for trouble with Liam. For now, okay, Liam will follow everything because they know about Hanna. She didn't want Hanna to get into trouble, so she would stall everything first. But Liam will expose all the depravity of the two couples and their agency.

Someday, you'll know if you're wrong to look for trouble with me.
