Way Back To You

Way Back To You
Removing the Past for the Future

On reuniting with Leanor in a private room at the Silver Bowl restaurant, the atmosphere between Liam and Leanor became a little awkward. Liam decides to meet Leanor without being provoked by her feelings back. She is indeed heartbroken by Leanor's reckless confession of her real mother's identity. But maybe Leanor has a reason and that's what Liam wants to know.

“Please drink.”

Liam offers a drink he ordered before Leanor arrives. The woman looks nervous. His face was pale and faint, and he looked even more reserved than the last time they met.

“You investigated me.” Leanor. His fingernails were whitened from gripping the glass too tightly - probably because he was too nervous.

Liam took a sip of the wine, then nodded. “True.”

“So you already know who I am?”

Liam nodded back. “I know.”

Leanor smiled wryly, not expecting that Liam would react that way. Leanor thought she'd be fine –and Liam wouldn't investigate, he'd be as free in and out of Liam's life as he planned. But he should realize that Liam is not a figure who easily believes just like that.

“Why did you do it?”

“I need money.” Leanor raised her face. “This disease again gnaws at my body and I have nothing left now. That barbaric man left me knowing I was seriously ill.”

“Bizarre men?” liam's forehead shriveled.

“Suami.” Reply Leanor, followed by a nod of the head by Liam a sign he understood.

“Why should I?” Liam leaned his body. “Is it because you're my mother's ex-commissioner? You know my story, recognize me and choose me as a target?”

“Target sounds a little rough.” Leanor Mumbles. “I'm not that bad.”

Then Leanor lowered her head and did not speak for a long time. Liam is the same. He didn't say much because he wanted to, Leanor said everything herself.

“I admit, I saw your news back then.”

Exactly it. Liam's guess is the same. Leanor must have known Liam from the news back then, when Gita seized Hanna and ended up with a press conference she did. Liam's confession at that time must have immediately made Leanor remember the past and use it.

“..when you said that if you were not Andrews' son and you were adopted from the orphanage, I recognized your face immediately. And..and back then, somehow the idea of taking advantage of your situation popped into my head.” Leanor took a deep breath.

“But it was not planned. Indeed the idea came suddenly, and I was urged by my own financial circumstances. I. I have no other choice. I'm sorry.”

“You know, had you said the truth without confessing if you were my Mom, I would have helped you with pleasure.” Liam. “But you hurt my feelings first, making my childhood wounds reopen. That's what makes me hurt.”

“I don't know if you were very hurt in the past.” Leanor's tears are sliding. “I'm sorry.”

Liam knew this time Leanor wasn't lying. Those tears were truly tears of regret and Liam was unwilling to hold back any longer. He and Hanna have promised to no longer be bound and affected by her past. Liam won't allow his past to ruin his future.

“You can contact my manager.” Liam placed a business card in front of Leanor. “I will do everything I can to help you. Don't worry.”

Leanor raised her face, looking incredulous at what Liam said. “Really?” he looks hesitant.

Liam nodded. “Thank you so much for helping my mom through her hard times.”

Leanor cried so much. He kissed the business card Liam gave him a few times while continuing to thank him.

“Liam..” she wiped her tears. “..may you always be happy. Thank you so much for helping me.”

Liam smiled, then moved up Leanor who still continued to say thank you words from her mouth.

Hanna said she had to forgive everyone involved in her past. The woman said that if in fact forgiving was done not for others, but for herself so that she could be better and more sincere in living life.

And it turns out Hanna was right. As he left the Silver Bowl, there was a sense of relief within Liam. Somehow I said it, but Liam was like reborn, without any burden and injuries. Suddenly, she felt that her life was meaningful and fun.

When Liam finally arrives home, he finds Hanna asleep on the sofa. The big-screen television in front of her is on, Hanna's favorite documentary series is airing even though no one is watching. Hearing Hanna's rhythm of breathing, Liam guessed Hanna had been sleeping a long time. He also said that lately Hanna tends to get tired and sleepy, probably due to the influence of her increasing gestational age.

“Hei.” Liam squats down next to Hanna and kisses Hanna's hair.

She flicked Hanna's pajamas to kiss her belly. “Father home.” His whisper was right in Hanna's stomach.

Hanna who was still sleepy, forced open her heavy eyelids. He focused on Liam, and when Liam smiled at him, Hanna smiled. “Finally you go home too.”

Liam nodded, then kissed Hanna's stomach once more and rubbed her gently. “Sorry if I come home a little late.”

“How are you talking? Did Leanor say anything?”

Liam shakes. She tidied back Hanna's pajamas before sitting on the sofa. Liam raised Hanna's head, then placed it on her thigh. “She just said if she does need money for her medical expenses. The rest, no.”

“Then?”

“Then I gave him Noah's business card. I talked to Noah before I left because I knew he was meeting me for money and he would help with Leanor's medical expenses.”

“Easy then?” Hanna gnawing.

Liam smiled, rubbing Hanna's apricot fragrant hair while frowning. “What's easy?”

“I thought you guys would argue great and you wouldn't give him a dime. I mean, he tricked you anyway, didn't he?”

“I was thinking like that. But after I thought, he was my mother's man. It means that in my mother's distress, she must have helped him. So I prefer to let go of my heartache. Instead of hating him, I think it's more appropriate to help him at this time.”

Hanna looked at Liam with a full day. There is a sense of pride in Hanna because she saw the maturity of Liam who grew very much. From Liam who is arrogant and feels nothing can prevent him, from Liam who is childish, turned into Liam who is full of responsibility and affection. And Hanna was grateful to be the woman who witnessed it all.

"Thank you very much Han, for showing me the path that freed me from all the difficulties I faced." murmured Liam softly. "First, I thought I wouldn't be able to escape my past, making all the women of my impingement as if I were the one who hurt the most. But thanks to you, I can change. Right you said, it turns out to forgive that for myself. So.." Liam lowered his head, gently kissing Hanna's lips. "Thank you so much for being in my life, Han."

"Together." Hanna kissed Liam back. "I'm also grateful to have you in my life."

Liam kisses Hanna deeper, flowing the drops of warmth and love he has for Hanna.

“Oh yes one more.” Liam looked at Hanna with love. “Noah has taken care of all the necessities for our wedding. Because you do not like the crowd, I think we will hold a wedding in a closed and only attended by the closest people. That's why I want to ask you to take note of who are the closest people you will invite.”

Hanna sighed, then sat down beside Liam. He looked at Liam with a probing gaze, as if he was about to intimidate Liam yet an occasional smile also floated on his face.

“What?” liam is confused.

“I think you missed something.” Hanna said as she glanced.

“Something? What?”

Hanna took a breath. “Both my parents.”
