Liam came down the stairs slowly. Behind him are Jhon, Bobby and Lona. They walked down the small hallway with good lighting because on all sides there are incandescent lights. The air there was moist and cold, and they could smell the characteristic scent of damp walls and overgrown with moss.
“Bobby, have you told the police?” ask Liam.
“Already. They should be arriving soon.”
Nice, muttered Liam. He continued walking on standby as danger could appear at any moment. After walking for a few minutes, they found a staircase made of wood. Liam climbed the stairs first, very carefully so as not to make any noise, he tried to push the wooden board that covered the passageway. He poked his head slightly, trying to peek and make sure the situation was safe.
After being sure the surroundings were safe, he nodded his head at the three friends who were still waiting. He opened the wooden board wide so that he could go up and wait for the three to safely ascend, only then did he close it back. Liam was sneaking around, but they immediately hid behind the wall when they heard a step approaching.
Liam stuck his finger to his lips, ordering his friends not to move first before he monitored the situation. Liam peeked after the sound of the footsteps drifting away, and before long they heard the sound of music filling the entire house.
I see trees of green
Red roses too
I see them bloom
For me and you
And I think to my self
What a wonderful world
Lona clasped Bobby's hand tighter. His fear grew even more after hearing Louis Armstrong's song echo in the room. Bobby looked at her, nodded slowly and stroked Lona's hand with his thumb. Everything would be fine, her gaze conveyed the message to Lona in silence, and Lona replied to it with a nod.
Liam moved first looking for the source of the sound. He settles down and arrives in a living room and from where he is he can see Hanna tied to a pole, and her head lowered. Liam wanted to shout calling Hanna's name, but he realized it could be very dangerous for her life. Not far from him, he saw Gita dancing alone following the music.
Damn, that girl is really sick.
Liam again hides himself behind a wall as the Gita stops the music from spinning. He sipped tea in his hand, laughing out loud while still dancing even though the music was done.
“Hazer, baby. I know you've come.” he exclaimed in a loud voice.
Hanna raised her face, trying to find Liam's whereabouts and she screeched haru as Liam revealed himself from behind the wall. Gita laughed mockingly and approached Hanna –still dancing to the music she was humming herself from her mouth.
“Don't hurt him Gita.”
“Sstt, I'm not Gita.” he came back laughing, a very terrible laugh. “Oh I'm really hurt, my dear. How can you not recognize me, Giselle, your lover, your own fiancee?”
Liam's forehead shriveled, he did not understand why Gita was messing with such strange things about herself. The giselle? Who do you think he's lying to now? It was impossible for Liam to believe his joke about names.
“Oh, you also brought a guest apparently.” Gita smiled, grinning. “..As I suspected, that rotten fool was by your side.” He kicked Hanna's leg, then pointed at Jhon using his chin.
“You are really sick.” muttered Jhon.
“Sstt, don't patronize me.” He dragged the chair, moved it to Hanna's side. He sat up with his feet up and sipped back his tea. “I'm not sick, it's just that I'm deeply in love with her.” Gita held up her tea on Liam as if asking him toast.
Liam is stunned to realize that all the rooms are filled with posters of Hazer and all things related to Hazer. God, he didn't expect Gita to be one of his fanatics. He had a very extraordinary obsession with her and it could be seen from all the contents of this room. This behavior included deviance because he was glorifying his idol beyond normal human reason and how stupid Liam was because he had not noticed it all along.
“Gita.”
Hanna curled up, frightened as suddenly Gita began to hysterically. He shook his head at Liam. “Dia alter.” Excite Hanna. Somehow she explained all this to them so they could understand that the person they were talking to was not the Gita. Since then, it was Giselle who took over Gita's body and Gita did not return.
“Alter? You mean alter ego?” Lona's surprised.
Hanna nodded quickly. She was grateful that Lona understood what she meant. Liam was stunned, still trying to believe what he saw. He had heard of the alter ego, a person who has two or more characters in one body. Her goals were observing the Gita, and she did find a lot of differences. The way he talks, the way he steps, the way he laughs, everything is different from the Gita he used to meet in Bobby's office. So this is all real? Is he really not a Gita? He's not acting?
“Omong empty, you just pretend.” John stepped forward to approach the Gita.
Gita laughed again, this time she took out a gun from her pocket and leaned it on Jhon. Hanna was flabbergasted, not expecting that Gita had a weapon from earlier with her.
“Giselle don't. Don't hurt anyone.” Hanna pleads.
“Put down your gun, we can talk carefully.” Liam also spoke, trying to temper Gita's anger. He glared his eyes at Jhon who was not away from the Gita. He was not worried about Jhon, he was worried about Hanna who was very close to the two. He doesn't want Gita to make a mistake and instead injures Hanna.
Jhon laughing. “I know this is just a lie, just like you showed me under the bridge a few days ago and I will not order.”.
Dorr..
Hanna and Lona screamed loudly when they heard the sound of gunfire filling the room. Hanna almost stopped breathing, as her face and clothes splashed a lot of blood. On the floor Jhon groaned in pain holding his shot arm.
“It should have been since yesterday this thing lodged in your body.” Gita approaches, returns to gunpoint, this time right in Jhon's head. “I told you I could end your life easily.”
Liam tried to calm down when his whole body was weak as boneless. He gulped, his gaze moving between Hanna and Jhon lying on the floor. “Don't hurt him.” Liam's approaching. Gita –or whoever it is, wants her and she will hand it over for Hanna, for the sake of her baby.
“What do you want?” asked Liam softly.
“Oh my honey Hazer, you are so kind.” Gita smiled and spoiledly twitched in Liam's arm, but his hand was still pointing at the gun, this time towards Hanna.
Hanna held her breath, as she could clearly see the shape of the deadly little thing. His sweat ran out, his throat was dry and his body was dull and powerless to move. As Bobby moves, Liam gives the code to hold back. Hanna was on the verge of death now, they could not act rashly.
“Cium me.” Gita exclaims spoiled.
Hanna was crying as she pleased, she shook her head slowly –not willingly. But Liam had no other choice. Just a kiss, it's nothing. As long as he doesn't ask for Hanna's life, he will obey all of Gita's requests. Liam lowered his head so that Gita could reach him and when their lips fused together, Liam felt a very, very overwhelming nausea. She wanted to vomit, especially when Gita stuffed her tongue into her mouth forcefully and wildly, mastered it, controlling it at will.
Liam swore in his heart. This woman is sick, completely disturbed her soul. Liam remained alert, opening his eyes as long as Gita was flirting with him and as he felt Gita off guard, deftly Liam twisted Gita's hand down and heard several more shots. Liam clutches Gita's hand tightly and forces her to drop the gun, then Liam kicks the gun all the way after Gita drops it.
Gita screams in wrath, thrashing as Liam immobilizes her and forces her to lie on the floor while Bobby also oppresses her. Lona immediately moved to release all the bonds that wrapped around Hanna's body while continuing to cry.
“Let go of me fucking..” Shouted Gita.
Liam and Bobby admit that Gita is very strong. They were a little overwhelmed to face the Gita alone. After Hanna's bond breaks, Lona gives Liam and Bobby the rope from Hanna's bond. The two tied Gita's body, from her legs, hands and body while the girl continued to thrash.
“Hanna.” Lona hugged Hanna tightly, sobbing. “I thought I'd lose you.”
Hanna also could not help her growing cries. It was a nightmare, so bad that he didn't want to remember it. Lona pulls out a tissue, clearing the blood on Hanna's face.
"Hanna.."
Liam hugged Hanna tightly, kissing her lips warmly and deeply, full of relief. But one thing they did not realize, all the scenes in the room were connected to a live channel and millions of pairs of eyes were watching everything.
