Two sedan cars stopped in the courtyard of a large building with a courtyard that was almost as wide as the building. The flowers in the courtyard were in perfect bloom –almost all in the summer and the beautiful scenery was enhanced by the butterflies flying to and fro. The buzz of bees can also be heard clearly because they are hunting for nectar from flowers that bloom.
Liam helps Hanna get off the car and from the sedan behind her Bobby and Lona get off together . The expression on Lona's face was enough to tell her how much she was amazed at the building. That was what Hanna felt when she first saw him.
“Wah, Liam, do you need a maid here? Maybe you can recruit me.” Gurau Lona who was immediately greeted by Liam's thin smile.
“If you want, you are free to come here. Hanna will be happy if you visit often.”
“Hanna happy, but I'm not.” Sahut flat.
“What do you mean?” Hanna elbowed. “Hanna, you know I'd die of envy if I kept being in this house. You want me dead for wanting a house this big too?” lona murmur.
“Why? Just let your prince buy it for you.” Said Bobby.
What prince? Am I the princess? Lona's murmur.
“Come, we'll talk inside only.” Liam pulls Hanna from Lona's embrace and clasps her hand past Lona and Bobby.
“Iss, she thinks she who would want to separate me from Hanna like that?” grouse Lona. “If it wasn't for me, Hanna wouldn't want to be with you either.” He returned to grin.
Bobby clucking. “I should be jealous, why is it you this time?” He muttered then left Lona alone on the front porch.
“You cousins are the same, equally strange.” His eyes then followed the three.
Anyone will be stunned as they enter Hanna and Liam's new home, not least Bobby and Lona. Both could not hide their admiration for the farm-style house that Liam adapted to modernize today. The living room is very spacious, there are four sofas and a giant widescreen television. The kitchen also seems luxurious with some cookware hanging neatly and lined. Everything feels right, luxurious but still leaves a comfortable impression.
“You can too.” Bobby muttered, honestly.
“I'm good, not just about home but about women.” Liam glares nosily at Bobby –mocking him.
Bobby just shook his head looking at the side of Liam's children who sometimes still appear in the middle of his age who has stepped thirty years. But Bobby inevitably had to admit it and he lost a step behind Liam especially about women.
The things Hanna brought were not many. He had only two suitcases with clothes, a book, and some important documents. The rest he left in his old house because he planned to return there once in a while. The house was the result of his labor so he would not empty it. After all in her bedroom –Hanna decided to sleep in a separate room with Liam - already stuffed by Liam with all the stuff he needed.
“Tell me how you feel now.” Lona placed one cola drink and one bottle of mineral water on the table.
While Liam and Bobby prepare dinner, Hanna and Lona sit down to enjoy the twilight view from the backyard that presents a green patch of weed grass. The golden light from the setting sun emerged from the cracks of the branches of trees growing in rows. The afternoon atmosphere is warm and cozy and Hanna is grateful to be able to enjoy it with Lona, her best friend.
He then remained silent for a moment, then looked at Lona solemnly. “I've made the decision to trust Liam. I'm sure, we were able to get through this all together and also.grow my feelings for her.”.
“I think you've loved it since you met at the club last night.”
Hanna initially thought that way too. But after several times asking him, it was not a feeling of like, but a sense of awe and the rest was his sensual thoughts. Hanna had only done that for the first time with Liam, so that was why she kept thinking about Liam and the way the man touched her.
“By the way last night Liam said he liked me.” Hanna looked at Lona.
“Seriously? Feelings of likes that really like?” Lona jumped in shock.
Hanna nodded. “I've asked her if her feelings arise solely because I'm pregnant with her child. Then he said no. He likes me as myself.”
“Hanna..” Lona clasped Hanna's hand, moved and happy. “I'm sure Liam is the right figure for you.”
Hanna hopes so too. Her three-year relationship with John ran aground because she was betrayed, and building trust was difficult. But Hanna is determined to restart her story and does not want to stay silent only in the past. Hanna believes Liam is better than Jhon.
“Neasily, you can touch the kitchen like this again.” muttered Bobby with a distinctive sarcastic tone.
Liam just smiled, nodding in agreement. “At first I also found it difficult to stand in a room like this, but because it was Hanna and she was struggling with her nausea so she could not eat anything, of course I have to take responsibility. That's why I started it all again. Hard indeed, but I'm fine now.”
At times Liam turned his head outside, where Hanna and Lona were relaxing. Just seeing the smile on Hanna's face alone was able to drive away all the pain in Liam's heart. Liam did not believe in destiny, but this time he was very sure. She and Hanna did not meet by chance, Hanna conceiving her child was also not a coincidence. It's really destiny and Liam likes the way God works this time in his life.
“You're really lucky to get Hanna, Liam.” Bobby Excited. “Trust me, Hanna will be able to heal your past wounds.”
“I also hope so.”
Although the wound felt impossible to heal because it had been in his mind for thirty years, but hope it is not wrong is not it? The only person Liam expected to be able to heal his inner self was only Hanna. He used to refuse and say if his wound would not heal, but after getting along with Hanna, somehow Liam was slowly able to find the comfort of life that he had never felt before. It was all because of Hanna.
“Ah...I did not expect to lose again from you.” Bobby muttered later.
Liam turned his head, looking at Bobby solemnly. “I haven't thanked you for Hanna, nor am I sorry. Thank you, because you're willing to let Hanna go. And, I'm sorry, because I'm your opponent competing for it, Bob.”
“It’s okay.” Bobby sighs. “Lona says not everything was created for me in this world, and after I thought it was right too. There were some things I initially claimed to be mine and felt I had rights to, but as time went on, I realized they were all wrong. No need to apologize Liam.” Bobby smile. “..Therefore you, I can calm down now. Anyway Hanna lady is fine, I'm glad she ended up in your arms.”
“Thanks Bud.” Liam hugged Bobby sincerely. Thank you for all the things you have left me so far. You shouldn't have to because we're not real cousins. I'm just an adopted child whose parents are out of nowhere, but you give me more affection than a biological parent who just rejects me and discards me. I won't forget this until I die, Bob.
