Hanna, I'll take responsibility for the baby in your womb.
An abortion? No, we're gonna raise that baby together.
A single parent? That's also a good thing, I'll be her foster mother.
Hanna, I'm letting you go for Liam.
That baby is my baby, I came to claim it.
I think we should split up first, after birth how about we do a DNA test?
Please don't hurt me.
Hanna
Hanna
Hanna
Hanna heard all the voices of people she knew, swirling in her brain. There are tears, there are laughter, there are quarrels, there are emotions, there is happiness. Everything is clearly drawn there.
Slowly Hanna opened her eyes after all the memories stored in her brain were re-created in her shadow. His eyes blinked, he was on standby for a moment as he realized he was not in his room. He shifted his head staring at the hanging infusion connected to his right hand.
Hanna closed her eyes again, then she finally realized why she could end up there. Hanna held onto her neck which was still a little sore to the touch. So I'm still alive? But what about my baby? Is he safe?
After accumulating his strength, he tried to sit down. Hanna gulped as she did not find anyone in the room she was in. He said he heard a noise from outside. The voice of Jhon and Lona. What the hell's going on? Before long he heard the sound of the door on the slam and checked the key. Hanna waited anxiously while her heartbeat began to pound incoherently.
“Han.” Lona emerged from behind the wall.
Hanna slid her body back onto the pillow, feeling relieved at the end of Lona who accompanied her there. “You're aware? You okay?”
He doesn't care about himself, whether he's doing well or not. Her baby. Only the baby needs to know how she is now. “Where is my baby? How is he doing?”
Lona smiles at Hanna but her tears fall. He stroked Hanna's face. “He's still in your body. He's really strong, just like you.” Isak Lona's.
“So she's okay?”
Lona nodded. “The child is fine. He's a very great human being.”
Thankfully, Hanna smiled stiffly. There is no news more impressive than this. Her baby was still with her, still growing and beating inside her. They still stick together. That was the only news Hanna had really been waiting for.
“Doctors say after you are aware, they will do USG again and you can watch it directly.”
Hanna nodded gently. In front of her, Lona still continued to cry –even as much as she pleased. Lona clasped Hanna's hand tightly. He said nothing but those clear circles were unceasingly dripping from his two eyeballs.
Lona's scared. He was so scared that he didn't know he had to do anything. All he could do was stand by Hanna's side before that bastard named Jhon appeared. Lona doesn't have to tell Hanna about Jhon and his madness. Hanna needs to calm down and Jhon shouldn't ruin Hanna's peace of life.
It was Hanna's lie the umpteenth time. She's not okay. All these things that he experienced scared him to death. The way that person grabbed his neck still continued to loom in his brain. Hanna closed her eyes, shaking her head quickly to cast away the shadow.
“How long have I been asleep?” Hanna tries to shift Lona's grief.
“Now at five pm.” Lona stared at her watch, still as unwilling as she could. “.. means about twenty-two hours.”
His friend was still breathing. He frowned, his head still lowered and his hands were busy stroking Hanna's palm. Hanna sighs. “Lona.” Hanna raised Lona's head so that she could look into her puffy, swollen eyes. “I'll take better care of myself, please stop crying.”
“I'm sorry Han.” The clear circle fell back. “I've been thinking about this for quite a while. Everything you've been through happened because I took you to the club that night and.”
“Enough Lona.” Hanna smiled. “I don't want you to discuss things that have happened in the past because it can't change anymore. We can't go back in time, so why keep talking about it? I know this is a lesson that really means a lot to me. Imagine, my quiet and peaceful life was suddenly full of challenges, even several times almost uprooted my life. But I still survive, my baby still survives. I thought, God did deliberately allow this to happen to me because He was sure I was able to get through.”
So quickly all the words were slid from Hanna's mouth, but enough she herself knew how things were going in the depths of her heart. Convincing someone is easy, but living it according to what is said is very difficult.
“Don't cry anymore if you don't want to see me cry.” Hanna said again.
Lona nodded –finally. “I'll call doctor.”
After re-examining Hanna's vital signs, as well as performing an ultrasound with Hanna, the doctor stated that she was fine as well as the baby. “The baby is healthy.” The doctor moves the transducer in Hanna's stomach.
“The age is nineteen weeks, the weight is normal about two hundred and forty grams and the length is also normal yes, about fifteen centimeters. Everything is good, heart rate is strong.” Hanna hears her baby's heartbeat again and she can't help but be moved. “Good. Everything is healthy and good. His mother is fine too. Vitamins continue to be drunk and do not forget to maintain a healthy diet.” The doctor smiled at Hanna.
After the doctor and nurse came out, Hanna stared far out the window. The breeze blew the white curtains attached to the window and brought in the fragrance of the flower petals in the garden near her nursery.
Speaking of flowers, Hanna suddenly remembered her future home with Liam. Currently the flowers there are also definitely still blooming and creating an incredible fragrance. While there, every afternoon Hanna will take the time to inhale all the natural fragrance, absorb it and store it as a source of the hormone serotonin in her body.
No. gabe. Hanna shook her head. Why do I suddenly remember it again? Hanna. Remember that Liam has thrown you away and you are not worth that much to him. If you're valuable, he must come back to you or at least he's here at the moment when you're fighting to keep your life.
But look, the trail isn't even here. Why do you expect him again? Thats enough. Finish your validity and your dreams with it and live in reality. He doesn't need you, nor do you need him. You can move on with your life just like he can continue without you.
He's just a jerk.
“Na, I want to go home.” Hanna begged Lona.
“But Han.”
“I'm not comfortable being here.”
“Alright.” said Lona although she seemed to object. “I'll see the Doctor and take care of your administration first.”
She didn't want to be in the hospital because Hanna felt her safety wasn't guaranteed enough here. He wants to go home. At least if he is at home, he has recognized every corner of his house and also his neighbors. It would be easier to face danger if he was there –or if there could be no more danger.
After arriving home, she immediately breaks into the room while Lona prepares their dinner together. Hanna musing. There are too many things she's been through lately and they're all very dangerous for her life and her baby.
Is it because I am weak? Yeah, I must have looked so awful in anyone's eyes that it was the culprit that he attacked me continuously. But I can't be like this forever. After this, I won't allow anyone to touch me and my baby again, not a fingernail.
