10. The Midnight Attack

“May I ask you a question, Kaiser sister?”

I also ventured to ask.  I asked about the avatar body-connection bracelet that Kaiser's sister had given me.  I was actually very curious to learn the mechanism behind the bracelet about how physical concepts can be exchanged for virtual concepts without experiencing repulsion.

In the Hero of Hope Game aka Hoho game only, the space and time coordinates between the two are not interchangeable with each other due to the large repulsion of the gaia acting between the two portals connecting the two.  However, this bracelet is able to ignore this.

Unfortunately, that's not what I'm asking this time.  There are more important things for now that I need to know, which is about who the creator of the bracelet is and whether anyone else other than me and Kaiser has it.

Given that this advanced technology has never been published to the outside world, it is likely that the number is only a little or absolutely cannot be mass produced.  So if so, is it worth it that this mediocre me is using it?

The surprising answer came from AI5203.  The technology was invented by Prof. Indro Nuryono a month before his death.  I don't know what the purpose of Prof. Indro in creating it or maybe Prof. Indro already had a feeling that something like this would happen later.  Unfortunately, the AI5203 that is in front of me right now is the accumulated memory of Prof. Indro 3 months before his death.

AI5203 has no memory of bracelet creation.  And as an AI, he doesn't have the human-like ability to develop himself by learning.  In other words, there is no way to reproduce the high-tech bracelet, especially all the research data Prof. The Indro had burned to the ground at the end of his life to prevent it from being stolen by Professor In Gu.

Unfortunately, Professor Indro only created two bracelets.  And once the bracelet is used and then successfully recognizes the master, it will no longer be usable by others.  In other words, no one else but me and Kaiser are now able to deal with the avatars who are released into the human world.

What a heavy burden has been placed on my shoulders.

I see, Kaiser's sister looks at me curiously.  Maybe because my expression suddenly shriveled so deeply I knew about all the dark secrets.

“Adrian, what do you think of the avatars?”  Apparently that question is what makes Kaiser sister curious about me.

“Of course I hate them so much and want to quickly finish off all of their types until it is not left.”  I answered confidently to Kaiser.

I see, Kaiser's forehead is slightly bent.  Apparently, there was a part of my speech that didn't match her expectations.  However, as soon as Kaiser Brother was about to say something, suddenly the secret headquarters alarm went off.

“Wire, Kaiser!  There were 4 avatars that suddenly went berserk simultaneously.  Avatar Number 32, Minotaur in area B16, Avatar Number 33, Jack Tornado in area D4, Avatar Number 67, Autumn Lily in area E5, as well as Avatar Number 50, Nyaa in area I12.”  Professor Melisa said in a panic.

I saw from the screen, a bull-man-shaped monster as the name implies was rampaging in a mine area.  On another screen was seen an eagle-like monster flying at high speed while circling around the same place.  So fast that the windows of the surrounding buildings become broken due to the momentum of the wind.

I passed my glance at the third panel that seemed to have happened nothing but mothers who were protecting their children from the carelessness of the thugs.  On the fourth panel of the computer screen, a cat-like but jerky monster was seen, attacking the security of a Kindergarten school which fortunately was at night so that there was not a single Kindergarten student there at the time.

“Area D4 and E5 are densely populated areas, so areas there should be prioritized immediately.  Kaiser, you head to area D4 to face Jack Tornado.  Remember, be careful with your use of bomb attacks so as not to damage buildings and injure civilians.  As for Adrian, you go to the E5 area to face Autumn Lily.  You recently did well against Sly Dark, so I don't think this is a problem.”

Said once again Professor Melisa.

“Wait, Prof!  Let Adrian face his Avatar in Area I12.  The other three areas are close together so just leave it all to me.”

Kaiser's sister seems to be trying to change Professor Melisa's original plan.

However, it appears that Professor Melisa is still a little worried about the decision.

“No, Adrian has also grown.  I think he will be able to face Avatar Nyaa.  Nyaa is a type of avatar that despite its great power, but the movement is slow.  So I thought, as long as Adrian attacked him with arrows from afar, everything would be fine.”

However, Kaiser also argued logically so that Professor Melisa was convinced.

“Adrian, do you know when and where is the weakest point of the Avatar?”  Kaiser asked me back.

“Know, Brother, because I've seen my first brother face an avatar like him in Hoho Game many times.  Part of the gap between his tentacles when those tentacles contracted to attack right?”

My answer to Kaiser's question.  Brother Kaiser seemed to smile with satisfaction at my answer.

In the end, I also did not go to face Avatar Autumn Lily, but the avatar numbered series 50, Avatar Nyaa.

“It is precisely the avatar like Autumn Lily that is more dangerous for Adrian.  How could I possibly let him face it?”  Kaiser muttered inwardly as he continued to run.

Kaiser swiftly headed towards the D4 area to face the Avatar Jack Tornado.  An avatar with the characteristic of flying fast with the main attack in the form of a laser beam from its mouth.  The right opponent for the Avatar Bomber who has a missile attack.

But the problem is, Jack Tornado's movement is too fast to be locked by a missile.  However, the Avatar Bomber has been equipped with a fast-motion mechanism from Avatar Fast so as to compensate for the movement.  Unfortunately, the Avatar Bomber cannot fly so its fast-moving attack remains unable to reach Jack Tornado in the sky.

However, the Avatar Bomber did not give up.  He climbed the building and then jumped from one building to another by utilizing the propulsion mechanism of his main avatar weapon, Bomber, which was also accelerated by the side mechanism of his avatar, Fast.

Once the Jack Tornado was within his reach, the Avatar Bomber immediately jumped him and managed to climb onto his back.  The laser beam attack from Jack Tornado was indeed very dangerous, but the story was only if the position of his enemy was inferior to him.

One of the main weaknesses of the Avatar Jack Tornado, the defense of the top of the wing aka the back of his back is very fragile.  In Hoho game, as long as we manage to reach the back area, then the victory against Avatar Jack Tornado is certain.

Without being wide, “Goodbye, Jack Tornado!”  Avatar Bomber also launched two missiles that landed right behind the back of Jack Tornado.  Before the missile fell to the spot where he was at the time, the Avatar Bomber immediately jumped from the top of the Jack Tornado's back.

Along with Avatar Bomber jump, “Baaaaam!”  Jack Tornado exploded magnificently.

Thus, Avatar Bomber also managed to defeat the number 33 avatar series, Jack Tornado.

After defeating Jack Tornado, Avatar Bomber again peeked at the computer panels connected through the system in his helmet.  There have been no signs of attack from Autumn Lily so that the Avatar Bomber actually moves to the B16 area to face the Avatar Minotaur first.
