118. Lobster Monster

After that meeting, I, Kaiser's Sister, Arjuna, Dream, Arskad's sister, and Uncle Dios immediately revisited the location where we defeated the Tree of Immortality.  At first glance not caught the oddity, but I can see it.  Portal details the size of dust to the point of being invisible to the ordinary eye connecting the two worlds fluttering around filled the entire room.

“Dream, this?”  Askaqua.

“Yes, the remnants of the existence of the Tree of Immortality that might trigger this.”  Answer the Dream to me.

“What are you talking about?  What are you guys looking at?”  As the only one who could not see it because it did not have super eyes, Kaiser asked astonishedly at our strange change of attitude about the surroundings.

We explained it, and finally Kaiser understood it.

“Based on the record in 2022, the Tree of Eternity was removed by force to another dimension.  But now, we are destroying it directly in the real world.  Well, even though it was actually only the second generation of the Tree of Immortality born from the first generation seed and not the original Tree of Immortality that existed in the dimensional gap, the remnants of its existence still triggered the connection between the worlds.”

Kaiser gave his opinion.

Everyone seems to agree with that opinion.  As the one who destroyed the Tree of Immortality, well technically speaking, it was the combined strength of junior Healer, Holy Junior, and Bomber that did so, Kaiser Sister could not let go of her guilt.  Kaiser thinks that because of his carelessness in passing up this possibility, things are getting worse now.

A look of guilt was clearly on his face.  However, even if time must be turned back, it does not mean we have a way to open another world portal to throw the monster into it because of our lack of resources.

Things like this are inevitable.  So, I also persuaded Kaiser sister that instead of being stuck thinking of something futile, it was better to think of the best solution now.

I saw Professor Dios take out his strange device which he created along with Brother Arskad.  I don't know the exact function of the tool, but it was a kind of tool he created for the purpose of opening a portal to the virtual world.  Uncle Dios was until now, like father and Mother Kaiser, also including my parents, still have not given up on rediscovering the whereabouts of uncle and aunt Kaiser Kak who was stranded to the virtual world.

I saw the portal dust, albeit in a very slow motion, begin to coalesce around Professor Dios' strange device.  I watched it curiously.

But unfortunately, the alarms of the danger signs from the headquarters went off once again.  This time a giant lobster attack was reported around the south coast of western Ujang Island Java.  The rest of the team had gone there first to face the monster, but it seemed that they were lacking members.

We, myself, Dream, Arjuna, and Kak Arskad immediately headed to the location, while Professor Dios and Kak Kaiser remained in this place to continue the investigation.  Arriving there, I could see a giant lobster-like monster storming to land on the beach.

The look is so scary with a tail that swirls like a scorpion tail and intimidating red eyes, not to forget also the claws are constantly flanking and opening making threatening sounds.

I know this monster.  The monsters that come from the wild fantasy vrmmorpg games that lately are often played by people around me.  This is a Thai game called Noung Thi Swingam.

Without wasting any time, each of us immediately dove into the location to help at the point where the defense was weakest.  I immediately pulled out my hank gun to shoot at the monsters.

It's pretty bad.  It took seven to eight shots for me just to take down one monster.  Dream and Arjuna are not much different from me.  Dream is only able to trap one lobster monster in its sub space and then eliminate it in almost an hour.  It was an ineffective attack.

The only attacks among the four of us that were effective were those of Kak Arskad. With the power of his poltergeist, he was able to lift four to five lobsters and then cut them out in one attack.

“Kak Arskad, I will support Brother from behind to prevent the monsters out of the beach.”  I yelled at Brother Arskad.

I also decided instead of spending seven to eight bullets only for one monster, I better support Kak Arskad to slow down the movement of the monster and the rest let Kak Arskad finish him.  And it proved that my role in the combination attack was more effective by restraining the movement of the monster to escape from the beach.

Brother Arskad also looks very helpful because now he only has to focus on attracting the monster who has been silent into space and then mengbatannya without the need to spend the mana in vain to pursue the monster move and try to fight.

We arrived at the scene at around 9pm and had entered by 9am, but there was no sign that the monsters coming out of the sea would be over.  I also told Dream to investigate.

How surprised I was that the portal was in a large size still intact on the seabed.  I also told Dream to try to trap the portal inside the sub space.  Actually, I'm not sure that it will work out that the portal problem is a kind of gateway that connects two different times and spaces.

A portal is a kind of tool that is attached to both worlds, so it is impossible to remove the reins of both worlds.  But, unexpectedly, this method works.  The portal can get stuck into the sub space of Dream.  What was even more astonishing was that the portal instantly disappeared once it entered the Dream sub-space.

The portal disappeared thanks to Dream and finally the giant lobster wave was nearing its end.  If I knew this would be effective, I would have done it without wasting twelve hours.  Clearly, everything was also finished well this time.

More than that, one more interesting fact about the portal we managed to find.  No, exactly two.

First, the portal at the bottom of the water is more stable and when it appears it will not just disappear which is different from the portal in the open air that will just disappear when it appears without being maintained through nowhere.

Second, the portal could be released from the reins of the two time and space it connected to, only when it was released, it would immediately disappear.

Meanwhile, at the location of Professor Dios and Kaiser.

“Uncle Dios, isn't this?”

“Yes, no doubt.  Everything that has happened lately is not without cause.  Some deliberately disrupt the stability of the portal from within in order to destroy this world.”

“Then, we can only solve this problem if we eliminate the creatures that exist in the opposite world that disturb the stability of that portal.”

As Kaiser said this, his and Professor Dios' views suddenly sharpened as if imagining something bad that might happen in the near future.
