101 Avatars

101 Avatars
21. Isolation of Jakarta City

That night, Kaiser had a dream, no, precisely the Avatar Healer disguised as Kaiser was the one dreaming.  In her dream, she sees herself and Andina involved in a car accident.

In front of them, a monster rampaged ferociously.  Kaiser knew very well who the monster was because he had repeatedly seen Andina play it.  Avatar is the 7th Avatar, Avatar Bomber.

The avatar monster then forced open the entrance of the car they locked the meeting.  They ran out of the car with all their might to avoid catching the monster.  But in an instant, Kaiser crashed into the hands of the monster.  Then vaguely in his state of almost losing consciousness due to the violent impact on his head when it crashed, he watched the monster stab Andina right in the chest.

That was where the memories of his dream ended, no, precisely that was where the deepest memories of the original Kaiser Dewantara that had been passed down to Healer ended.

“No…!  Don't..!”  The healer who was rubbed Kaiser was also awakened from his dream.

“Kak Kaiser, are you okay?”  While patting Kaiser on the cheek, Syifa tried to wake the tormented-looking young man in his sleep.

“Oh, Syifa.”  Kaiser is awake.  He faintly saw Syifa's face before him.  He also said the name of the young woman while smiling warmly at her.

“Duh, you nightmare what the hell until delirious not clear so?”  Said Syifa who seemed indifferent, but actually very worried about the condition of the young man before her.

“Oh, I'm sorry.  I dreamed a little bit of Andina back on that night of disaster.”

Without the need for the words to continue, Syifa soon found out that it was not a good dream because she knew very well that on the night of the disaster, Andina breathed her last breath in the hands of the Avatar Bomber.

“I happen to want to make hot chocolate.  Can I make you some coffee?”  Ask Syifa to Kaiser.

“Bby, if it's not burdensome.”  With a friendly smile, Kaiser received Syifa's kindness.

“Hmmm.”  Shifa muttered as she nodded in response to Kaiser's warm smile.

“Thank you, Syifa.”  In a word, Kaiser said it when Syifa had turned around so that she could not catch the expression behind Kaiser's face.

However, from the weight of the voice, Syifa was able to capture the deep sadness of the young man.  He sympathizes with her.  No one can understand what it is like to lose someone who is very dear, but someone who has felt it.

Syifa once felt the pain of being abandoned by her parents after their divorce.  Moreover, her older brother who had been taking care of her after the departure of both parents, also had to die on the night of the same disaster that caused Andina's death.

No one understands better the pain of the loss than Syifa.  In his mind, how much pain he had lost his family, as well as the pain that the young man named Kaiser had to endure before him.  However, it was a matter if he was the real Kaiser.  Syifa did not know at all that the figure of the young man before her was actually also an avatar monster that should not have feelings.

Kaiser walked over to Syifa who seemed to have finished making drinks.  With a warm smile, Kaiser received that glass of coffee from Syifa.  They talked in silence that night.

“Thank you, Syifa, for accepting my selfish request for allowing Adrian to fight with me against the avatar monsters.  In fact, Adrian is the only family you have left.”  Kaiser to Syifa.

Hearing Kaiser's words, Syifa fell silent for a moment.  However, in that silent atmosphere, Syifa finally replied,

Tears poured down the young woman's cheeks.  Kaiser tries to calm Syifa into his warm embrace.

“You don't need to worry, Syifa.  As long as I live, I will never let you two get hurt.”  Lirih Kaiser to the young lady in his arms.

Without them noticing, behind the kitchen wall where they were, Adrian had accidentally listened to their chat.  Not only Adrian, apparently from a hidden corner that was sandwiched between two cabinets facing each other at a 90-degree angle in the kitchen, Judith was also there listening to the chat.  But unlike the look of Adrian's sad face, there is only Judith's hateful look on the figure named Kaiser.

I never knew.  Just as I was worried about Syifa, Syifa was very worried about me.  All this time, I only thought about my struggle with Kaiser Brother in order to quickly eradicate the avatar monsters from the face of the earth without ever noticing how worried Sis Syifa felt to me.

No, it's wrong.  I know, but I ignored it intentionally.  Because if I don't, then my heart won't be strong enough to see Syifa's inner suffering.  However, a little more, a little more I hope that Syifa Brother can survive.  For the sake of a peaceful life after, inevitably I have to fight because only me and Kaiser can be the hope of the savior of the earth today.

Day after day, we tried desperately to watch and find out what the real purpose of the Volt and Metallia was.  However, they are very shrewd.  They always disappeared when we went to the location where they were found.

6 Days later, everything was answered.  Without everyone expecting it, all of a sudden, all the signals of the internet network, telephone, radio, television, and so on disappeared from all corners of the city of Jakarta.  There is an invisible wall that covers the whole city, making people unable to go in and out of it.

Once we realized it, we had been locked up in an electric cage by the avatar monsters.  Apparently this is what was planned by Volt and Metallia.

At that time, I was in college.  Thankfully, my change bracelet communication device that works the same principle as a walkie-talkie can still work so I can still get in touch with AI5203 at the headquarters and also with Kaiser Kak.

Apparently coincidentally back then, Kaiser sister had a lunch appointment with my brother Syifa so they were currently together so I no longer needed to worry about my brother's safety.

Professor Melisa is also currently on campus so we can meet soon.  The problem is Judith.  Right now, he's at his school.  I hope he'll be okay until things get back to normal.

“Hai, Adrian, what really happened?!  Is this all also the actions of the avatar monsters?”  Whispering not wanting to be heard by Zenri, Bobi asked me.

“Apparently.  Looks like this is the Electric Bracket.  This is unmistakably the power of one of the avatar monsters, avatar number 5, Avatar Volt.  To eliminate it, there was no other way but to defeat that avatar.  The problem is, we don't know where he is right now.  I have to go look for it right away because I'm the only one with tracking power.”  My answer.

“I understand.  I'll help you.”  I saw Bobi saying, as he opened his laptop and handed me a walkie-talkie.

I was confused about what he would do about the internet network not working now.  However, I heard Bobi back saying,

“Go.  If there's anything, call me on that walkie-talkie.  I will also attempt to trace the whereabouts of that avatar monster here.  If he can bring out his power, then, it means that he is in the form of his avatar which means we can detect it through drones equipped with heat sensors because their body heat is a little unique as I have learned through Sena and the evil avatar that attacked him when he was that.”

“All right I understand.”

While saying this, I also left Bobi who looked busy with his laptop, Zenri who seemed confused about what we were both talking about.
