101 Avatars
143. The End of Virtual World Travel

I'm taking the initiative.  Among the seven of us, only I who have the sharpest eyesight can swiftly dodge the poisonous breath of the green dragon.

I held my dagger tightly instead of my rifle and then slowly approached the monster.

“Adrian!  What are you doing?!  Maintain formation!”  Uncle Dios seemed to be yelling at me, but I ignored him.  I just ran and kept running.

Until I came right under the monster's feet.  I also climbed his body swiftly avoiding all his attacks.  Until I got right to the area of his stomach where Time was.

Time seemed to be roaring furiously at the sight of my presence.  The green dragon seemed to be trying its hardest to protect him, but thanks to the diversion attack from Uncle Shou and Uncle Dios, Time's defense finally opened.

By taking advantage of the opportunity given to me properly, I then thrust the dagger that I had previously held into the head of Time.  Apparently, his body began to crack.  But unfortunately, it also made the body of the green dragon waver so that I fell from his body.

It was fortunate that Uncle Shou was able to swiftly reach me with his water element power so that I was spared from falling freely onto the ground.

I survived.

I saw Time in the belly of the monster.I actually managed to defeat him.  I can see from afar how Time decomposes into dust grains of data.  Simultaneously, the body of the green dragon was degraded and melted disgusting leaving only its bones.

Not long after the system notification appeared which even though since we came in this world was never seen at all.

CONGRATULATIONS!  THE GREEN DRAGON THAT CAUSED CHAOS IN THIS WORLD WAS DEFEATED.  IT WAS ALSO DETECTED THAT THE DISTURBANCE OF THE VIRTUAL WORLD PORTAL HAD SUBSIDED AND NOW THE VIRTUAL WORLD WAS STABILIZED AGAIN.  YOU WILL SOON BE RETURNED TO YOUR PHYSICAL BODY IN THE OUTSIDE WORLD.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP ALL THIS TIME.

I also don't understand what's really going on about who the voice claims to be that system.  What is clear based on his words, means that we have managed to get rid of the cause of the emergence of wild portals so far on earth.  As expected, this was all Time's doing.  Ever since Time was defeated, it meant that all these problems had subsided.

This is where our secret headquarters was during our fight against the avatar monsters.  In front of us was waiting for Professor Melisa with my father and mother and there were many more people who filled our narrow headquarters.  I looked back inside the crowd.  There was also a breath there.

Why does his face look so sad?  Worried, I approached him immediately.  After walking a few steps, I realized.

“Lho, is my body okay?  We've been in the virtual world for almost three months?”  I was surprised, but Professor Melisa immediately answered, “Time in the virtual world can be set to adjust the situation, Adrian.  But in order to prevent brain defects due to the acceleration of electricity, we limited it to 1 in 30 days.  So in fact, you are in the virtual world only for less than 3 days.”

I breathed a sigh of relief because apparently things were not as bad as I thought.  Then Professor Melisa also said to me again, “Thanks to you seven, there are no more portal disasters all over the earth and we can now breathe a sigh of relief.”  But somehow Professor Melisa said it in such a sad tone.

“Well, now, Adrian, sorry to ask you when you are still tired after the virtual world, but please comfort Breath now.”

“What?”  I was amazed at what Professor Melisa said.

I also approached Nafisah.  Instantly Nafisah hugged me tightly while crying bitterly.  “Adrian, hiks.  Father, Father has died.”  Said in a lascivious.

That's where I just found out, when we were in the virtual world, the team here was also busy dealing with the various monsters that attacked the city.  Naturally, victims will appear.  But thinking if it was Uncle Loki, it felt like my heart was deeply sliced.

“Hiks hiks.”  Unknowingly, my tears also fell along with Nafisah.  Instead of comforting her, I unconsciously sympathized with her through crying together.

Someone came and someone left.  Old fighters are being replaced by new ones.  No man can win against death especially in the age of twilight.  I can only pray that Uncle Loki can rest in peace in nature there.  And for the earth's struggle to come forward, it is our duty, young people, to continue it.
