101 Avatars

101 Avatars
100. The Setiabudi Family Reunion

It did take a long time, but in the end I managed to defeat the dummies in the area assigned to me.

“Kira, what about the other areas huh?  Could it be me who first finished it?”  I murmured in my heart.

I immediately asked Mr. Aili about other areas that have not been completed and need my support.  However, the answer he issued was beyond my expectations.

“Sisa one area that has not been resolved, namely the D.” area  Reply Mr. Aili.

But what the fuck is this?  Isn't that the area assigned to Kaiser?  Though the last person on my mind who would be the last to complete this mission was himself, unexpectedly, it was precisely the rest of Kak Kaiser's area that had not finished cleaning.

Out of curiosity and worry, I went there to help.

“Slush!  Trak!”

The dummies that had evolved into Para with that extremely hard skin, were unceasingly attacking Kaiser with endless collisions.  Every time the dummies collide, Kaiser painstakingly dodges them or fends them off with his Enigma sword.

However, the dummy monsters did not give the young man any time to rest.  Like the arrangement of waves in the ocean, dummies attack in turn systematically.

Each dummy wave that one completed its collision attack, not until two seconds, the next wave of dummy groups have again launched its attack, where the next wave has prepared at the back.

Kaiser is completely overwhelmed.

But at that moment, a voice sounded.

“Hai, my sweet cousin.  You're not done yet apparently.  Want me to help?”

“Ah, Sister Millie.  If you want to help, why are you still standing there.  Come fast!”  With no hesitation, Kaiser received a helping hand from his second cousin.

Millie Dewantara, the third child of a married couple who became heroes of the historic incident of 2031 who sacrificed themselves to fall into the virtual world.

With the power of his fire, Millie burned down all the dummy monsters in the Kaiser area to nothing.

“Hmm.  You still seem to have a lot to learn, my sweet cousin sister.  That Healer is still five times better than your current combat strength.”  Said Millie while giving a wide smile that looks as if demeaning.

I ran over worriedly to Kak Kaiser's condition in the battle.  He had all this time displayed a priminent talent in all his battle training virtually.  But I forgot an important fact.  The match against a real enemy with the avatar body of the changing bracelet, clearly the sensation was different from training in a virtual space.

Kaiser's brother who had just first felt it would definitely be overwhelmed.  Because it is not that easy to use the body of the change bracelet avatar.  Not only HP and MP consumption factors must be considered in the fight.

There is a spiritual factor matching the mind to the reflexes of the body.  Sometimes, we want to make certain movements, instead so move others because our body misperceives the movements desired by our mind.  In fact, it is not that easy to practice agility in real life.  The same goes for vitality, endurance, and intelligence.

But when I got there, my previous worries seemed futile, the matter of the fight was finished which was beautifully sealed by a magnificent fire.  The dummy has been charred to ashes.

I saw the figure of the woman who helped Kaiser in his battle.  Eh?  Isn't that Doctor Millie who treated my wounds before?  What the hell is he doing here?  Not that, so he can fight?  That meek looking doctor?

I could not help my astonishment as soon as I saw the doctor who had seemed gentle on the outside, it turned out to have a wild personality like the one I witnessed just now.

Having already been here, even though the fight was over, I approached to greet the two of them as well as treat my curiosity by seeing Doctor Millie up close who had just run amok.

“Kak Kaiser, Doctor Millie, you guys have worked hard.”  Sapaku while slightly bowing my head in honor.

“Ah, Adrian.  It seems that your fight has also finished.”  Doctor Millie said that in an instant, her violent expression turned into a friendly and harmless expression as she had previously shown me while treating me in the hospital with Doctor Damian.

I really did not expect any other figure like this from this beautiful female doctor before me.

I noticed the look on Kak Kaiser's face that seemed to have ignored my greeting.  I saw him avoiding my eyes while looking down.  Ah, it seems that he was embarrassed that he could not solve the dummy problem in this area alone so he had to get help from the other party.

Forgetting the complex feelings of Kaiser, the fight on that day ended with all the dummies being defeated.

Both of us, me and Kaiser immediately returned to the base, while Doctor Millie asked permission to return to the hospital, and we separated.  Suddenly after that, Mr. Aili approached me and told us to hurry to the headquarters of the problem that there were other people visiting the headquarters who wanted to meet with us.

The two of us who were curious as well, without wasting any more time immediately moved towards the headquarters.  It didn't take long, about 20 minutes with Kak Kaiser's racing ability, for us to arrive at the base.  Arriving in front of the headquarters, we also opened the headquarters door.  Apparently, from the direction of the table facing us, Professor Melisa and Syifa had also been there waiting for us.

But what is with Kak Syifa's complicated-looking expression?  However, it didn't take long for me to find the answer, the question of the answer was already before my own eyes.  From behind the table that led back to us, I saw the backs of two parents.

The two male and female partners who had almost been in their old age turned around, facing me.  What a surprise I was, the question of that face which, though it had grown older, but I could never forget.  Although that face has not been seen in the past fifteen years, it is still impossible to forget.  On the other hand, they are my father and my birth mother.

“You?  What are you guys doing here?”  I said angrily holding back my tears.

“Ah, Adrian.  Apparently, you're also a big one, son.”  My birth mother told me.

“Thank God, you grew up to be a good young man, my son.”  It was followed by a speech from my father.

Looks both my father and my real mother, smiling so sincerely in front of me.

But this feeling of anger, this feeling of heartache of having been abandoned for so many years, which even at the death of Kak Faridh, they both did not attend, so passionate that perhaps I will forgive their betrayal leave us alone in this cruel capital only for their own selfishness to reach their ideals abroad.

I hate them.
