42. The Truth of Professor Melisa's Family Tragedy

I could not believe that Avatar Arjuna in the form of this High School boy was someone who was so kind and innocent.  He also apparently took good care of the human body he had mimicked until now, well though more precisely, he handed it to Kaiser Kak to take care of.

Come to think of it, I interacted so much with the avatar monsters that were more than just human, not only Arjuna, but also Sena, Autumn Lily, Riri, Rina, and come to think of it, too, before Riri's death, Rara was also a friendly and unpretentious figure, regardless she was an avatar monster.

What exactly is the monster avatar?  They were good, some were evil like Fog, Raging Fire, Poison Merchant, and Holy.  There are also those who become evil even though they mimic a really good-hearted human like Freeze who has mimicked and killed my brother Faridh.  Are they not different from humans who have a variety of characters?

What because they acquired those traits and personalities after mimicking humans or because they after exiting the game is a violent figure until they get the human nature of the host they mimic so it is said that their feelings are fake?

So, how exactly does that original feel?  We say that the feelings of the avatars are false because they are composed of virtual data sets that are different from the concept of the human heart.  So, if we look at it from a broader point of view, then, what if there are beings out there who have a higher concept than humans and then look at the concept of the human heart is like when we see the concept of virtual data avatar beings?

If so, can our feelings be categorized as false?  What exactly is the boundary between the real and the fake?  Who is in charge of determining between the real and the fake?

Instantly my daydream was scattered by Arjuna's next words.

“Oh yes, come to think of it, at the facility, I also saw a little boy lying inside a hibernation capsule next to the Tio hibernation capsule.  Who is that boy?”  Ask Arjuna while looking at the air.

“She Zio, my second child.”  Professor Melisa answered the question.

“Oh yes, I had heard from Nafisah that Bomber had done that cruel thing to your family.  Don't you feel angry at him?”  I was curious to Professor Melisa, seeing that she had been fine interacting with Kak Kaiser's Avatar Bomber after the tragic incident.

“Not the culprit Bomber!”  Instantly Professor Melisa yelled, rejecting the assumption I made.  His facial expression was so revealing a frown that it signified that his mind had been disturbed by my speech just now.

“I must have stepped on a mine that I shouldn't have tipped.”  I thought in my heart.

However, after Professor Melisa's expression seemed a little calmer, she began to speak up again.

“It is true that it was Bomber who had killed Andina when she had not yet gained her consciousness.  If so, how could I possibly blame him.  I'm a microsaintist.  I always thought logically.”

Professor Melisa sighed for a moment before she continued her words.

“Just as the court releases the madman from the law, so does the Bomber.  We can't blame him when he himself never intended it to happen and sees him now so deeply regret his actions.  But not with him!”

I also anticipate with the sense of hearing that is attached well to the words of Professor Melisa next.  About who the real identity of the perpetrator was if not Bomber and on what basis Professor Melisa's husband was murdered and their child was put into a coma.

“That shit, Void, he planned all this!”

“So, your husband and second child become victims not for the accident on the night of the Hoho disaster game?”

“Obviously it also happened on the night of the disaster, but everything was planned by Avatar Void that.  That damn Void had clearly gained his consciousness that night.  He then brought 4 avatar monsters that still had not gained his consciousness to attack my family.  She must have intended to mimic me and my husband and children through those monsters in order to use my identity to approach Prof Indro's secret inheritance lab.”

Professor Melisa, who appeared to have been in a state of frustration, then dragged a plastic chair while approaching us, then sat on it which he had placed next to the table where my four avatars were sitting there in their minima.

“Thank God Kaiser came to defeat the avatar monsters brought by the Void and saved me and my second son Zio from the gripping event.  But unfortunately hiks... hiks..”.

It looks like Professor Melisa is starting to sob.  He seemed devastated to recall the trauma he wanted to forget.

“Unfortunately, hiks.. hiks... My husband Daeng Sabaruddin has died.  Not only that, Zio who had been imitated by one of the 4 avatar monsters brought by the Void was now lying in a coma even after 5 years had passed.  Not only that, that night, I had to hear the news that my other son had died at the hands of another avatar monster through the mouth of my own future son-in-law.”

Professor Melisa said in tears.

The good and evil of every living being is not determined by how and from where they are born, including in what form they are born.  Including the avatar monsters.  We cannot blame them for being born in this world.

However, as someone who has lost his family due to the appearance of beings like them, we cannot blame him when that person hates and condemns their birth.  No, it's just my reason for wanting to justify my hatred for avatar beings.

Because if not, then where else do I channel the frustration of losing my precious brother figure?  I faltered for a moment because of Arjuna's kindness.  But the Void-like monster avatar slapped me again to wake up from that ridiculous dream of idealism.  After all, the avatar monsters were enemies that had to be defeated if the face of this earth obtained its safety from the repulsion disaster.

The avatar monsters had to be wiped out, whether they were evil or good.  I realized that I was weak-hearted.  I don't know what would happen if I once again met a kind avatar monster like Arjuna and Sena.  But at that time I was certain that Kaiser's sister would guide me.  Brother Kaiser has promised me to cover up the weakness of my heart.

Thoughts about the possibility that never happened, I better not think about it again.  There's Kaiser's sister who's always with me.

Then I also saw an investigation board that contains an investigation into the identity of the avatar monsters in their human form.  I saw that avatar number 10, Void, on the list.  He was apparently one of the avatar monsters whose identity had been known.  That will certainly make it easier for us to quickly find and eradicate it.

Michael, that's the human name that the Avatar Void mimics.

“Void who uses Michael's identity will definitely be found soon and then eradicate.”  My words are full of determination to Professor Melisa.

“That, Adrian, we haven't said yes, that Michael was..”.

“How is everything?  It seems that everyone has gathered.  Oh, Syifa, you've finally come too.  Since we are complete, then let's just start the meeting.”

It seems Professor Melisa still wants to say something, but the meeting has already been opened first by Kaiser.
