122. Never mind, I'm Bored

“Hey, Uncle!  Please don't joke!  Didn't we just meet yesterday?!”

Uncle Shou could not contain his anger once the fruit seller said that this was our first meeting with him, when clearly, yesterday we had met him.

I immediately ran to try to calm Uncle Shou before he went on a rampage even worse.

“Yes, already, already, Uncle Shou.  Don't be so emotional.  Maybe the seller just forgot.  He has a lot of customers.  Where maybe he will remember the faces of his customers one-on-one.  We bought the apple a kilo sir.  I'm sorry, sir.  I think he's too excited.”  I said calm the situation.

The seven of us returned to the inn where we had spent the night.  But again there we got the strangeness.  The innkeeper suddenly intercepted our steps.  As soon as we asked what the problem was.  Apparently, he did not allow us to enter because we were not one of the guests from his inn when obviously yesterday, we had paid the lodging rent.

Uncle Dios decided to go to peace by paying the rental fee.  We stayed at the inn on the second night.  Around midnight when the villagers were asleep, we once again entered the misty forest to investigate what had happened.

But again, the strangeness happened.  The pattern of the monster attacks was exactly the same as yesterday.  Started by the appearance of a horned rabbit, then a goblin, then a giant wolf, not to forget also the appearance of large-headed flat creatures with a speed that is so that the owners of other supernatural forces besides me can not see it, to the appearance of the boss monster giant white rat.

“Don't we beat him yesterday?  Why appear again?  Do they have re-spawn capabilities like in vrmmorpg yes or something?”  Aunt Sandra was amazed.

Well, it was only natural that after seeing that creature we had painstakingly defeated yesterday, it suddenly appeared again before us.  However, that night, we were also successful without any significant problems in defeating the monster.

But then, after defeating the boss of the giant white rat monster, we once again transferred back to the village square.

That's where in the end we realized we had been stuck on the time loop.  We are stuck on the same day that we communicate with the fruit seller until we defeat the boss of the giant white rat monster.

After making brief changes at the inn, we then split up to find information about the oddity we experienced.  But for the sake of security, we avoid moving ourselves.  That's why we split the team into three.  Uncle Dios, Brother Arskad, and Kak Kaiser in the first team, Uncle Arthur and Aunt Sandra in the second team, while Uncle Shou and I in the third team.

We went around the village, observing one by one the oddities that could be observed in each individual villager or suspicious spots in the village.  But still, we did not find any clues at all.  I wish there was at least a clue the other two teams would get.

But unfortunately, instead of the instructions obtained, Uncle Arthur and Aunt Sandra instead invite the suspicion of the surrounding residents to face the security guards of the regional authorities.  Thanks to Uncle Dios' communication skills, Kaiser's sister, and Arskad's good sister, more trouble was avoided.  Uncle Arthur and Aunt Sandra could be free from the charges after writing clearly.

Evening has arrived.  We decided to try another move that night by not trying to attack the monsters in the misty forest.  Because come to think of it, we would all be transferred back to the initial time after killing the boss monster.  So we thought that as long as we didn't kill the boss of the monster, then we wouldn't go back to the starting point again.

But all of them are misleading thoughts.  That night, because we did not attack the misty forest, the monsters in the misty forest itself were attacking, storming into the village.

Panic is everywhere.  The houses were burned by the breath of the fire of a giant wolf.  The citizens were killed after being desecrated by the disgusting goblins.  The village was in an instant ravaged by destruction.

The boss of the giant white rat monster appeared and we inevitably had no choice but to defeat it for the safety of the village and its citizens.  As expected, we once again returned to the starting point of the village square.  Time turned back into the morning like the first time we came here.

The seven of us talked about what we should do in this locked situation.  That's where Kaiser came up with his idea.

“How about we just catch the monster boss instead of killing him?”  Kaiser's proposal to all of us.

“Lantas how do we catch it?  The body is too big for us.”  The statement of suspicion as a reasonable reaction that might be almost felt by the rest of us was uttered by Uncle Shou.

Kaiser's brother fell silent.  Maybe he has no idea.  But that's where Uncle Dios came in, adding,

“My strength can be used.  I will possess the body of that monster boss so that he will lose control of his body.  All you have to do, the rest of you keep my body as long as I possess the body of the boss monster.”

Everyone seemed to agree with the idea and we immediately devised a plan to execute it.  That night, we once again walked out of the inn into the misty forest to meet the giant white rat monster.

We re-entered the forest and eliminated one by one the croco monsters that tried to block our path.  Maybe because it was used to it, it didn't take too long as it had been for us to attract the attention of the monster boss to come out of hiding.

Once the boss arrives, a combination attack by Aunt Sandra and Uncle Shou quickly incapacitates the boss.  Once the monster boss's movements had been crippled, Uncle Dios began to activate his powers.

The body of the giant white rat monster boss immediately pecked and then waved to us.  We were so shocked when the monster boss started talking to us.

“Infiltration successful.”  Ah, apparently it was Uncle Dios.

For a moment we breathed a sigh of relief.  We think this time there will be a bright spot on the completion of this mission and we will soon find clues about the existence of a disaster-carrying source that is ravaging the earth today with the city of Jakarta as the center.

However, at the dawn, the world around us suddenly shone brightly and we were once again transferred to the starting point of the village square.

“What exactly does all this mean?!”  I who could no longer bear to hold back my annoyance, finally vented it by shouting in annoyance.

And now is the fifth time we have returned to the starting point in this endless time loop.

“What's up, Adventurer Mas?  Early in the morning was upset by myself.  Want to buy fruit?”  Said the fruit seller to me.  For some reason, I began to get annoyed to see her face constantly appearing at this starting point.
