61. Judith and Zio

That night, as the other two rooms had been occupied by Judith and the mother-daughter couple Professor Melisa and Zio, I returned with Kaiser.  Actually, I had to go back to the hospital immediately to trick the police guarding there, but I decided to take a break to let go of this drowsiness.

“What's Adrian?  It seems you have a lot of thoughts.”  Reprimand Kaiser to me.

Apparently, I was too clearly showing my expression that Kaiser noticed.  It's true that that night, I had something I thought about more than what we had talked about at the meeting just now.

I paused for a moment and then said again, “Kira if the avatar monster memimik me or Kaiser, what would it be like?  Will it be a good creature who is innocent like Arjuna because we are both good people, right?”

Silently, I said the sentence accompanied by a heavy joke.  I saw that Kaiser didn't say a word for a few minutes listening to me.  His expression was instantaneous and silent.  Out of worry, I once again rebuked Kaiser.

“Kak Kaiser?”  I'm lirih.

I see, Kaiser's brother returned to his consciousness.

“Adrian, do you know the three remaining avatars whose identities are unknown?”

I was confused by what I should answer Kaiser's question because the answer was clearly a conversation that would make him unpleasant to hear.  But because Kaiser seemed to think of something complicated, I answered his question, “Time, Remote, and Healer?”

“Yes, Healer. And I as the ranker was the most suspicious person as the Avatar Healer.  So, what would you do if I were really a Healer?  Will the goodness of your heart prevent you from washing me?  Remember, I did tell you that your innocence is your surplus value so that you can remain as it is because there is me who completes you.  But you also have to remember, an avatar is full of deceit.”

“What does Kaiser mean?”  I immediately cut off Kak Kaiser's conversation when the direction of the conversation began to be uncomfortable.

“I didn't say that I was a Healer.  Only, the avatar monster could have disguised itself as the person you care about.  I'm just reminding you, if that happens, remember that their feelings are just fake and don't burden yourself.  Your job is only one.  Exterminate them for the salvation of mankind.”

That morning, I woke up a bit bad luck after falling asleep again when I woke up around 5am.  I saw Professor Melisa with her son, Zio, was preparing breakfast .. or maybe it could be called lunch because the hour had shown at 11 am.  Judith was also at the dinner table.  But wherever I glanced, I did not find Kaiser even though it had been since the first awakening earlier, I did not see his figure.

I also asked Judith about the whereabouts of Kaiser's sister, “Judith, which Kaiser's sister?”

“How do I know?  What do I care about that monster?”  Answer Judith coldly.

Apparently Kak Kaiser's status in Judith's eyes had dropped drastically from that of a cold brother to that of a monster, but surely that was just what he said.  I already knew that Judith actually loved Kaiser very much.

Why was the boy not being honest with his feelings until now?  And also I was the one who even stupidly asked Kak Kaiser's question to him.

I also transferred my question to Professor Melisa, “Professor Melisa see Kaiser, no?”

But it was Zio, a young man of Judith's age, the son of Professor Melisa, who answered my question, “Oh, Kaiser's sister left early in the morning.  Said he wanted to investigate something in the forest.”

Not yet, I responded, Professor Melisa first connect her son's answer, “Already.  We don't have to interfere in Kaiser's business.  Among us, he was the one who thought the most about the avatar monster.  Definitely his departure now, also related to that.”

I confirmed Professor Melisa's words.  I did not give any further response about Kaiser.  The four of us had breakfast or maybe more precisely lunch together at 11.  I sat next to Professor Melisa, while Judith was in front of me and Zio was in front of Professor Melisa.

I look back and forth between Judith and Zio.  They were the same age and their older brother had known each other for a long time before finally dating.  Does that mean Judith and Zio have known each other for a long time?  But no matter how I looked, their attitudes were very cold towards each other, unlike people who knew each other.

Out of curiosity, I asked, too,

“Zio familiar with Judith?  She is the sister of her brother's girlfriend Dik Zio.”  I asked Zio.  I did not dare to ask Judith directly about her increasingly so-called behavior.  Even though at school, once his behavior reflects the elegant rich ladies, but for some reason in the headquarters just behaved like a wild cat.

Zio replied, “We only know each other, but not too familiar because we only met a few times.”

That's what Zio answered.  So it can be said, even though their brother is familiar, but the familiarity is not passed on to their brothers.  In fact, I was also curious about what would now happen if Judith was familiar with Zio.  Will it slightly cover up the wound in Judith's heart so that she is not as depressed in her daily life as she is today?

Anyway, I feel sorry for Judith.  Losing Brother Andina must have had a big impact on him.  But there was nothing anyone else could do to her other than give her support and encouragement.  The rest depends on Judith herself.  May time heal all wounds in his heart.

At that instant, a mischievous thought sprang into my mind.  Unknowingly I said, “Dik Zio, what if I became friends with Judith?”
