121. Repetition Village

I and my entourage finally managed to enter the gate of the virtual world safely.  But then, something strange happened.  The bodies of the grandparents suddenly gave off a bright light.  Once the rays were over, knowing their appearance changed drastically.

Me, Kaiser, and Arskad couldn't help our surprise that grandparents had their young bodies back.

“This, the wrinkles on my hands are disappearing?”  Grandma Sandra said in amazement.  Or I'd better call Aunt Sandra this time.

“Not only your hands.  Your whole body is back young.”  Said Uncle Arthur to Aunt Sandra.

“Kok can?”

“It seems, this is all the influence of the virtual world.  It doesn't matter how we are.  Let's just find the root cause of all his plans.  Isn't it better now?  With this young body, we can be more free in moving.”  Uncle Shou also spoke enthusiastically.

We traced the location according to what the map showed us.  However, in the middle of our journey, we found a village of antah-argument.

“Wah, what is this?”  Said Uncle Shou astonished.

“If seen from the costume, this is a common pattern of a fantasy-themed vrmmorpg game, a village civilization life that takes a medieval setting.”  I answered that question too.

“Really?  In that case, let's immediately find out the existence of the mysterious creature directly by asking the surrounding residents.”  Said Uncle Shou instantly.

It can be seen clearly the difference in behavior of Uncle Shou when he regained his young body.  How to say it, look more active, or maybe hyperactive times yes.

“Wait, they must be just NPCs.  Where can they answer Uncle's questions?”  I was also about to prevent Uncle Shou from acting rashly.

“Oh ho's.  You now call me Uncle Yes, his son Andika.  So much better because your mom and dad are my best friends even though I'm five years older than them.  Haha.  It's nice to be back young.”

Uncle Shou didn't bother me at all and it seems that I'm too late about Uncle Shou going to ask the villagers.

“Weird creatures?  You mean the monsters from the misty forest that often invade the village?  Are you also an adventurer?”

More or less than the short explanation of the fruit seller, I can capture a little about the theme of the game.  So basically, this is a common fantasy game where we have to defeat the monsters from the misty forest.  It does not rule out the possibility that the boss monster from the foggy forest is the mastermind of the disaster that befell the earth today.

Everything is uncertain, but everything can be answered when we find the boss monster in the foggy forest that the fruit seller meant and then eradicate it.

“Uncle, can explain more details about the foggy forest.” I saw Kak Kaiser then took over the talk Uncle Shou then skillfully utilize his communication skills, pulling as much info from the fruit seller.

With good communication, we can gather more information because the people we talk to will be more open and no longer feel afraid or threatened if they provide the information they have.

We decided to take a short break at the inn in the village because it happened to be available to recover our power drained from the fight against the dummies.  However, we refuse to eat and drink it because basically, our body is just a substitute body that cannot be hungry or thirsty.

If we feel hungry or thirsty, then even though this avatar's body is eating, it is still unlikely that we will feel full because those who respond to hunger or thirst are not our original bodies in the real world.  So it should be, our bodies in the real world that need to eat or drink.

Three hours we recovered our stamina until nightfall.  We packed up to go to the foggy forest.  Our bodies are equipped with night vision mode so that the night atmosphere plus the thick fog, will not block our view.

But unlike in the large area before, our surroundings were so filled with many trees.  That caused us to have to form a closer formation, plus Uncle Arthur as a sniper, it became difficult to shoot at the enemy because our view was blocked by trees in the forest.

“Sak, sak, sak.”  A quick step suddenly sounded in my ear in an unusual way.

Maybe it will not be seen even by a person of supernatural power even because of the rapid movement.  But I, who had evolved vision since I fused with the Avatar Arjuna, saw it clearly.

The figure of a monster with slender legs, body, and arms, but it clearly looks very cruel through the gaze of his round and large eyes protruding.  One of the leading ones, then swung his sickle weapon to Aunt Sandra.

No, this is bad, Aunt Sandra can't see it.

“Tante Sandra!  Humped!”  Quick yell.

Aunt Sandra also swiftly lowered her head and I immediately shot the ugly monster with my rifle.

There's no more time.  About eight more such ugly creatures stormed our formation, while there wasn't enough time for me to set up my rifle weapon to fire at all of them.  I threw my rifle to the ground and then I took the dagger on my waist that I had prepared before that I could have needed at any time when there was a technical obstacle in my rifle weapon.

I can't believe it would be really useful right now.

“Slash!  A slash!  A slash!  A slash!  A slash!  A slash!  A slash!  Slash!”  Quickly and dexterously, I slashed down the eight strange monsters.

The ensuing battle continued as usual where we faced monsters that we were still able to handle well through our formation.

When the monsters are no longer intense attack us which may be because their numbers have also begun to decrease, “Trang, trang, trang.”  The ground started to shake.

Finally, the monster boss we had been waiting for came as well.  The shape is like a white mouse with a spooky look.  One of his front teeth came out not hidden in his mouth, and his red eyes glared at us with anger.

This is not a problem for veterans.  Aunt Sandra immediately ran up to him, stabbing him with her gungnir spear until the monster was seriously injured.  Then as a final strike, as always, a beautiful lightning strike.

The attack was immediately followed by the firing of eight Uncle Arthur rifles which he called the Ramboo the series.  The monster fell down instantly, torn apart by the strong wind coming out of Uncle Arthur's rifle.

After the monster fell, we all suddenly glowed brightly.  Does this mean we have defeated the monster that caused this dimensional chaos?

However, we had to swallow bitter disappointment because what awaited us after the flip of light after defeating the giant rat monster was the sight of the same city square where we first arrived.

Uncle Shou immediately ran towards the fruit seller who had previously asked,

“Uncle, why did we come back here after defeating the boss monster in the foggy forest?!”

“What?  You guys managed to defeat the boss monster in the misty forest?  Calm down, young man.  Breathe in and tell me your story clearly.  Don't insist on that because this is our first meeting here.”

Hearing the word ‘first meeting’ out of the mouth of the fruit seller, we were simultaneously surprised to not believe.
