51. Adrian vs Chainsaw

“From your voice, you seem to be very young, young man.  Well then, young man, let's just start this fight to protect each of what we think is valuable.”  Chainsaw told me.

Unfortunately, this is not my true voice.  But yeah, I was very young.  Put that aside, I accept your challenge, Chainsaw.”  My reply was to Chainsaw.

We also started the fight.  My crusader and Chainsaw's rotating saw gun start to clash with each other.  Unfortunately, Chainsaw is not a dark-type avatar monster so the Crusader effect, does not work on him.  We are fighting with the power of weapons.

But of course the higher-spec Crusader that came from the twenty-numbered avatar monster weapon was much stronger compared to Chainsaw's weapon that only came from the forty-numbered avatar monsteran .  It gave me an easy victory.

In a few collisions, Chainsaw's rotating saw teeth began to tear and eventually stopped functioning.

“Slash!”

In the next slash, Chainsaw's weapon turned into data grains and vanished fused together with his body.

“That's great, young man.  I acknowledge your greatness.  Well, now, give your last attack to me as a cover of my defeat this.”  Chainsaw told me again.

I shut up for a moment, and I asked him, “Are you not afraid to die?

But in the end, I answered my own question.  “Hah, that's of course.  How can a creature born without feeling who only tries to mimic human feelings, have such feelings.”

Then I heard Chainsaw return my words, “That's right, young man.  For the sake of attaining perfection as living beings by acquiring emotions, we have sacrificed the humans who are our hosts by killing them.  Nevertheless, we keep living by pretending to forget about it, bestowing all those mistakes on the Red Blood Hero who tried to crush us.”

Chainsaw paused for a moment before continuing his speech.

“But the funny thing is, I just felt the beauty of that life after having a body complete with these emotions.  But in the end, I realized that a dream built at the expense of others would not last long.  And this time, it was my turn to get the end.  Well, now young man, give your last attack to me to end the stage of the life of the grandfather who has been satisfied by this beautiful memory.”

Then according to Chainsaw's request, I threw my Crusader at him, splitting his body into pieces, until he was broken into pieces.  In an instant, Chainsaw's body disappeared into the details.

I have no sympathy for him at all.  I will always remember Kaiser's remark that all the feelings of avatar monsters are falsehoods.

I also finally won a fight against the monster avatar number 46 series.

After I won the fight, then I looked in front of me, apparently Kaiser was watching my fight.

“How now, Brother Kaiser?  Am I a worthy partner for you?”  I murmured in my heart that seemed to be about to lose consciousness.

I fell to the ground after losing my energy about losing too much HP from Chainsaw's impromptu attack earlier.  However, before my body landed on the ground, I saw Kaiser immediately reach me.  In an instant, my HP recovered after Kaiser Brother touched me.  It was likely that he activated his Spring Rosella side avatar.

The day ended which can be said to be our victory because we managed to defeat two avatar monsters at once.  It made me forget for a moment that my original purpose here was to work on a college project.

But of course, the college project will also be pushed back after what happened in this park.  I so hope that if only the schedule of UAS that should be next week it will also be postponed.  I've been too busy with avatar monsters lately so I forgot to learn.

That afternoon, Kaiser and I went straight back to the base.  Bobi had previously informed me that our college practice assignments were being pushed back tomorrow.  It gave me the impact of stress in a different sense.

On the way, I suddenly remembered something.  I remember Crusader being able to communicate telepathically with me.  I wondered if it was the evolutionary talent of the Crusader or if all the avatars of the bracelet could do it. I asked Kaiser.

“That's the talent of all avatar bracelets.  I do it a lot with Bomber, Fast, and also Enigma.”  That was the answer Kaiser gave me.

So why all this time, I never got it either from Arjuna, Sly Dark, or Hard?

“Sorry, Brother Adrian.  I can't not do it.  I'm just not good at directing.  I'm afraid that if I just disturb your concentration that will harm you in the fight.”  Arjuna answered me.

“I'm not good at Indonesian.”  Hard answered me briefly.

“I'm only interested in talking about rock and women.”  Then Sly Dark as the last replied.

How would you describe it?  It feels like these avatars of my man-made bracelets are a little beyond ordinary.  I was envious of Kaiser Sister who had cooperative avatars outside of her cold attitude towards her avatars.

Very lucky, I have a final side avatar like Crusader.  At least in the end, there is one avatar of my bracelet that looks normal and I can exchange opinions at the time of need.

Moments later, we arrived at the base.  However, what I witnessed was precisely a deserted headquarters that only had AI5203 in it.  I felt a moment of strangeness because usually on this day and hour, Professor Melisa should have been at the headquarters.  I asked AI5203.

“Mr. Aili, Professor Melisa to where?”  Mr. Aili, that's the nickname that I finally decided to make AI5203 which comes from the abbreviation of the name because it is a bit complicated if you have to constantly mention the name in full.

“Hmmm.”  AI5203 looked a little sigh of happiness.  He said nothing, but clearly his happy expression was from the change in tone.

Instantly AI5203 reawakened from the pleasure of it while answering, “Ah, about it.  Kaiser, there is shocking news as well as happy.”

“What is it?”  Kaiser's sister immediately responded.

“Child of Professor Melisa, Zio, has kissed!”  Answer AI5203.

“So apparently.  So it turns out to be true my hypothesis.”  Kaiser Kak's response to AI5203's answer in a low tone of voice, seemed to have expected it to happen.

I was of course very happy when I heard the news that Professor Melisa's second child finally woke up as well.  But what all of a sudden?  And so, Kak Kaiser's statement saying that his hypothesis was true was also a bit suspicious.  I, who was curious, asked Kaiser.

“What hypothesis Sis?”

Then Kaiser sister replied suddenly back to ask me, “You know about the trap type avatar number 80, Avatar Seal?”

“Yes, I know Sis.  The avatar was great especially at the type 8 battle arena, which was housed in a labyrinth with many narrow rooms inside.  But why discuss that all of a sudden?”  I was astonished why Kaiser suddenly discussed the seemingly unrelated topic, then asked back.

“You know that he has a special sealing weapon?”

“Yes, once we step on that seal in the game, we will lose instantly.  However, as long as we keep the pace and avoid that invisible seal, it is very easy to win a fight against him, especially in a battle area other than the 8.” type

“It's true, Adrian.  But this time I'm not talking about the game.  However, more towards the special seal itself.  Once, I faced that avatar monster five years ago.  Just as I was about to give my final attack to him, he suddenly took out that special seal.  Guess what happened?  Apparently, he had used that special seal to store the body of his living minimized host.”

“What?  Humans can be stored in a virtual space and still be alive?”  I couldn't help but be curious about the sudden information Kaiser's sister revealed to me.

“Yes, Adrian, that's right.  But that's not the point.  The monster was about to use its host body as a hostage, and then helped pull me into its seal the moment I let my guard down.  But beyond the monster's expectations, I actually snatched the host's body.  I finally managed to defeat Seal.  And guess what happened?”

Kaiser sister was silent for a moment before continuing.

“His originally fainted looked comatose, suddenly woke up unconscious.  From that point on, I hypothesized that it was possible that the human body of the host had been reduced to mimic by the avatar monsters themselves when they were defeated, the cause will be resolved and the host human body will regain consciousness.

Once again, Kaiser Brother fell silent for a moment before continuing.  The sides of his thumb and right index finger, touching the tip of his chin gently.  Eyes circumscribed.  It appears that Kaiser's sister is thinking seriously.

“Unfortunately, it is difficult to find accurate evidence of the average victim whom the avatar monsters immediately killed cruelly by them.”
