85. Goodbye, Healer!

Healer never intended to sacrifice himself that day.  He was determined to survive the fight until the arrival of the final fight against Mr. X.  There was still about 4 percent of his life energy left at that time which he could use about half to recover people injured by the zombie virus.

The other half is about 2 percent, it had been enough for Healer to endure until the arrival of the final battle which inevitably came because the deadline given by the repulsion of Gaia should occur no later than the next two months.

But Healer too high regard mankind.  There is nothing more sinister than humanity wanting to keep its life.  They will do anything to survive, even if it hurts their teachers, friends, lovers, siblings, and parents.

That is how terrible humanity would be if it were on the verge of their life and death.  There was no longer any rationality and compassion in their minds.

Fog's threat is like a death drum in their ears.  If they want to live, then they have to obey.  Finally, they all obey the threat, even though the heroes who have been protecting them will die at their own hands.  What matters is that they survived.

“Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!  Srash!”

Cruelly, they took the remaining 2 percent of the Healer's life, destroying every thread Healer gave them with pity to save them from the combined Poison Merchant poison and Fog mist's acidity.  Healer's life energy instantly reached its limit.

“No!  Healer!”  As soon as he saw his mentor begin to turn into dust grains of data, Adrian could not help but cry.  He was completely overwhelmed with deep pain.

“Hahahaha.  How pathetic!  The human race that you have been defending is precisely the one that finally took your life.  How does it feel to see them unite and destroy every part of your body like an ant that preys on a rat carcass, Healer?  Hahaahahaha.  Nothing is more fun than seeing this view.”

Fog unceasingly insulted Healer while laughing as soon as he witnessed him being betrayed.

“Takkan..”

“Eh?”

Healer's voice was faintly heard by Fog, but it was unclear.  Fog who was curious to hear what would be said by Healer before his death then sharpen his ears.

“Takkan I let it end like this!”  Shouted Healer while taking out the remnants of his strength.

A sharp blade quickly moved towards Fog and Remote to the point that the two of them did not have time to react to it.  But swiftly, Void immediately reached the fellow he could still reach at that moment.  Void manages to save Fog, though it does not completely spare him from Healer's final attack, which leaves Fog severely injured.

As for Remote, he was killed instantly by the final attack of the Healer.

It was at that moment that the Holy One had just arrived on the scene.  But he was too late.  The body of the healer begins to degrade into dust grains of data.

“No, Brother!”  Shouted the Holy from afar with despair.

He then set his sights on the surviving Void and Fog.

“You, how could you do this to Brother!”  Holy shouted as he slid rapidly through his threads to channel his anger to the two cursed creatures.

“Gawat, I can no longer maintain my warp jamming.  If this continues, the Eden Organization can come here.”  Void Mumbled.

Seeing that the situation was no longer favorable, Void immediately opened his portal to escape with Fog.  However, Holy immediately messed up the portal, giving warp jamming even on a scale that is not as skilled as Void.  As a result, the portal becomes chaotic and separate Void and Fog are each warped to a random location, not at a location that has been set by Void.

However, both of them were still able to leave the place.  As a result, the two of them were able to survive Holy rage.

As soon as Void and Fog left the scene, Sturdy's golems were no longer in number and were quickly cleared by the combined powers of Dream, Carnaval, Professor Melisa, Syifa, and Mr. Aili's.

After fighting, they all ran towards the dying Healer.

Wirily, Healer replied, “Your body is as black as it seems, Holy.  Brother should clean it up immediately.”

Accompanied by a smile, Healer also with his remaining strength sucked out the poison absorbed by the Holy as much as he could.  Because this is the last time he can do it.  Post today, no one else can neutralize the Holy Poison so Holy can only wait for his death as more and more he uses his poison absorption technique.

Holy's body's suppleness was reduced a little, but he was still jet-black.  In his dying, Healer said, “ Promise me, Holy, from today, you will no longer use your poison absorption style because there will no longer be a Brother who can neutralize it.”

In his monster eyes, Holy was tearful listening to the final words of the Healer.

Healer smiled while looking back.  Apparently, he was staring at Syifa, Professor Melisa, and one of AI5203's drones.

“I'm sorry for deceiving you all this time.  But please so that you continue the struggle so that our efforts so far are not in vain.”

Professor Melisa's the one who responds to the words of Healer first, “Of course, you fool!  Without you to say anything, of course we will fight to survive in our world.  Humanity is not as weak as you might imagine.  You alone, why is that stupid?!  You shouldn't have saved all those ungrateful people.  Hiks...Hiks..”.

Unknowingly, the tears of a professor in his 50s but with a soul that felt still young, began to drip soaking down his lab coat.

“If you hadn't saved them, none of this would have happened.  That is the result if you are too arrogant to want to save everything.  And you always say that there is no sympathy for your people.  But precisely, why is it your weakness?!”

Looking at Professor Melisa who was crying so much that she was worried about him, Healer smiled.

“After all, I must die in the end as well.  Here's the best.  I leave the rest to you, Professor Melisa, for the original Kaiser Dewantara training.”

Healer then looked at Syifa whose view they had accidentally met Syifa's question was shocked by the last Healer's words about the original Kaiser Dewantara.

Without saying anything, they could only stare at each other for a moment.  Then softly, Healer muttered, “If I were a human, I would be very happy if I had a wife like you, Syifa.”

Only Healer himself and Adrian were able to hear that remark.  While Syifa, though unable to hear the remark, still seemed as if Healer's sincere feelings were being conveyed to her, her eyes were instantly flooded with tears.

There is not much more that Healer can say when his body is almost entirely degraded.

Healer grabbed the nearest drone AI5203 and then smiled meaningfully at him, hoping that as fellow computer programs, they could understand each other without needing to say anything.

Then lastly, he looked at the plain young man before him who had released his helmet so wet the helmet by his own tears.  Because of her tears, her eyes had turned red.

Healer then gave his last advice to his only student.

“Adrian, get stronger!  And please support my best friend, Kaiser Dewantara, well later when he takes my place. And also, if you can.. please don't hate us too much.”.

Healer paused his sentence long enough before saying his last sentence.  While saying that, Healer revealed a gentle smile in the form of his monster that was the softest that Adrian had ever seen even when compared in his human form so far.

Then immediately after saying the last sentence, Healer disappeared, turning into a whole grain of data dust.

Healer's last words, so imprinted on Adrian's heart.  Healer who has always said ‘do not ever sympathize with avatar’ monsters or ‘do not be consumed by their kindness which is just a memory in their program’, finally said not to hate them too much.

Along with the death of Healer, the original Kaiser Dewantara who had been in a coma for five years, finally reopened his eyes.
