23. Two Enemies with Different Goals

I hurried to leave that place to search for the whereabouts of the other six Seven Sins Instrument.  However, not far from the former factory, a figure suddenly intercepted me.  A pale white figure that seemed to be surrounded by fog.

Ah, now I understand why Bobi said there were three monsters.  Apparently, there was one more avatar monster besides Volt and Metallia who were hiding in the darkness.  He is the number 13 avatar who is the real culprit of the incident on Mount Suzana, Avatar Fog.

How's now?  Obviously I can't defeat this monster one on one with my battle power right now.  Although not as strong as a single number that has the power of overpower, avatars numbered dozens have one special skill that is scary.

If the avatar number 11, Metallia, is the power to create weapons from the ground indefinitely as long as there is land, then this avatar number 13, Fog, is, it has the power of fog that can swallow the consciousness of every living thing that touches it.

To defeat it, it needed a fire element weapon.  And I have my fire arrow.  However, the sheer magnitude of our avatar number difference, practically makes me no match for him.  How'this?  Should I run?  However, if I were to turn my back on him, it would be very dangerous because the fog could quickly reach me.  If even a little bit of the fog touches me, then I'm sure I'll be done soon.

Therefore, I finally decided to fight against him.  Everything will be fine as long as I can keep my distance from the range of the fog while attacking it from a distance.  Unfortunately, in contrast to Avatar Nyaa, this avatar monster had high agility.  How can I keep my distance at a safe distance?

I also issued Scream of Confusion, the power of my Sly Dark side avatar in the form of a deafening scream.  Then from above the air, I fired my fire arrow when the movement of Fog was locked by my first attack.

My fire arrows burned some of Fog's fog, but unfortunately it wasn't enough to give it a meaningful impact.  In an instant, Fog's mist recovered and quickly the avatar monster directed its attack at me.

Damn, even though I feel that I have flown high enough, but the fog Fog was still able to reach my feet.  I pulled him to the ground too.  Instantly, the fog gnawed around me so I began to be helpless.

But even the unexpected happens.  A black root thread suddenly attacked Fog from behind causing his concentration to scatter so that I could escape his attack control.

I see the origin of the attack.  Whatisthis?  Isn't that the serial number 9 avatar, the Holy Avatar?  Why did he attack Fog?

“Holy, what are you doing?!  Why are you attacking me?!  Do you intend to betray our clan like your dear brother Healer did?!”  Fog to Holy.

I saw Holy then giving such a sharp look towards Fog after hearing his provocation.  Holy says,

“Hah?  Betrayed?  From my point of view, it is you who have currently betrayed the purpose of our clan?”

Even with the face of the monster that looks expressionless, I can still see the change in expression on Fog that turned wry as if the words of Holy really about it.

“Hah, you are still holding on to that obscure Raging Fire goal?!  You should also leave him as soon as we do before you regret.”

“Slash!  Paaak!  Paaaak!”  Without making small talk of Fog's words, Holy quickly launched his next attack.

“Your dirty mouth is inappropriate to mention the name of Mr. Raging Fire impolitely.”  Said Holy while glaring at Fog with anger.

A fight ensued between the two of them.

After a while, as soon as there was a chance when Fog looked helpless, Holy suddenly glanced at me while saying, Holy,

“Why...Why did you help me?”  Suspectingly, I also confirmed the Holy's purpose.

However, he said, “I hope you don't get me wrong, you vile creatures!  How have I ever been willing to help a beast like you destroyers of nature?!  I just did all this for the sake of my clan's purpose.”

I don't understand what that avatar monster meant.  But for sure, I must get out of here and go on the mission that Kaiser's sister entrusted to me and come back to help her.

As powerful as Kak Kaiser, the Avatar Bomber he used clearly had a limit.  He won't be able to stand up to Avatar Volt and Metallia all alone.  If it is allowed to continue, Kaiser sister could have.No, I must remain optimistic that everything will go fine.

However, not even I had time to leave the place of the fight between the Fog and the Holy, that event happened.  Suddenly, from within the factory building, a dazzling green light emanated.  A moment later, the electrical cages surrounding the entire city of Jakarta disappeared.  Only one explanation, Kaiser was able to defeat the Volt and Metallia alone so that the power of the Volt was disabled.

I could only be amazed to see that beautiful green aurora.  What a hero I am is a wonderful person.

We go back to a time some time after Adrian left the factory site.

“Hah, don't you underestimate us too much, Red Blood Hero?  You think you'll be able to beat us both alone?”  With his cynical laughter, the pale red figure who was none other than Avatar Metallia gave his provocation to Kaiser in his Avatar Bomber form.

However, Kaiser did not respond at all to those words and immediately began his attack.  Two missiles were launched at Metallia.  But swiftly, Metallia formed a shield from the ground to fend it off.

The metalia then jumped and floated about a dozen weapons of a type of throwing knife made of earth to Kaiser.  With a sword weapon from the side of his Enigma avatar, Kaiser deflected each attack beautifully.

As soon as he saw a gap in the middle of the Kaiser, Volt also gave support to his electrical attack to help Metallia attack the Kaiser.  Unfortunately, Volt's movement is currently locked in because he also temporarily has to focus on the process of traveling the Instrument of Seven Sins so that only the Metallia attack currently poses a significant threat to Kaiser.

However, Metallia's attack was actually quite monotonous which caused him to only be in the order of avatar number eleven.  What is frightening about Metallia is the unlimited creation of its weapons.  Beyond that, as long as the opponent was able to keep up with the unlimited weapons attacks, Metallia was nothing.

“Trang!  A slash!  Trang!  Slash!”

Every time Metallia threw his weapon, Kaiser fended it off beautifully.

Kaiser, no, the Avatar Healer in the form of Kaiser also smiled cynically while saying, “Hoh, is it only as much as the ability of the number eleven avatar?  How disappointing!”

“Fucking basis!”  In her anger at Kaiser's provocation, Metallia increases the intensity of his attacks.

The movement of Metallia became easily legible after being provoked in anger.  Seeing that, Kaiser then smiled cunningly from behind his helmet.

Metallia is clearly within the grasp of Kaiser's game.  Seeing this, Volt could no longer concentrate his mind on the process of traveling the tool.
