Death Flute
The Red Eagle College

The forest north of Bukit Merak is quite large. People from Merak Hill can go to the Red Eagle College by way through the forest. The two schools have never been in contact with each other. Not because of hostility. Precisely because there is no interest in getting to know each other more closely.

Deep in the forest, there was a group of people who looked as if they were camping. But they were not camping, but were hiding from the enemy. Seen from a makeshift tent built sober.

The leader of the group of about 30 people was an adult male who was about 35 years old. His face was haggard and looked old, as if he was always thinking of something. He was wearing red clothes that were originally beautiful and neat, but now looked dirty and torn. He was Swordsman Yang, one of the senior members at Red Eagle College.

He and some of his younger siblings appeared to be discussing what to do about their chairman's release plan. They seemed helpless in the face of this matter. The opponents were too strong for them.

Their discussion was startled by the screams of the men who seemed to be trying to restrain the arrival of someone.

Swordsman Yang jumped to his feet in shock, suspecting that the one coming was the enemy side. But he narrowed his eyes to see a pair of lovebirds walking quietly towards him. The two lovebirds seemed calm just facing the cackles of his men's weapons.

They were none other than Chien Wan and Kui Fang who had arrived there.

The warrior who did not recognize Chien Wan. But he saw the appearance of the two men was not at all like the criminals who had robbed their college. So he exclaimed, “Holden arms!”

His men immediately retreated and gave way.

Chien Wan approached Pendekar Yang. Together with Kui Fang, he clasped his hands together, saluting in a swordsman manner. “Which Swordsman, isn't he? I'm Ouwyang Chien Wan and this is Miss Wu Kui Fang. We both came as emissaries of Swordsman Sung.”

Swordsman Yang kontan. He answered the greeting in the same way. “Pardon the treatment of our men earlier. Please join, Swordsman Ouwyang.” He did not show any reaction to hearing Chien Wan's name. It seems that he really does not know who and where Chien Wan really is.

They sit in their original place.

“How does Swordsman Sung respond to our problems?” ask the No-Nonsense Swordsman. He was desperate to talk lightly. He could not wait for the answer to the letter he sent through the messenger.

“Pendekar Sung is preparing his men and contacting other warriors to help,” replied Chien Wan.

Swordsman Yang and his friends immediately breathed a sigh of relief.

“Can I ask you a few things?” ask Chien Wan.

“Please.”

“How can you describe the traits of the criminals who robbed your college?”

The stricken warrior. “They numbered about twenty people. Not a meaningful amount considering my own college boys much more. But they have incredible knowledge. One of them even mastered most of our own science.”

Chien Wan's forehead wrinkled. “Then, is anyone involved?”

“The problem is that the face of that person we do not know at all!”

“They don't wear masks?” sela Kui Fang's.

“Not at all, Miss. They did not try to hide their faces. It seems they always show their faces to us.” Swordsman who shakes. “The worst, our own chairman lost to them. Now he and his family are being held hostage. Me and some people managed to escape. And we are gathered here to draw up a rescue plan against our chairman.”

“When did the incident take place?” ask Chien Wan.

“About five days ago.”

Kui Fang looked over. “Kakak Wan, five days ago we also just arrived at Bukit Merak.”

Chien Wan nodded.

The warrior who frowned. “Sorry. Do you guys have any interest in the Bukit Merak people?”

“What does it have to do with..?”

“We suspect that the villain who captured your chief is Cheng Sam and his friends,”, said Kui Fang. “That's why we preceded Swordsman Sung to come here to make sure.”

“But I'm sure it's not Cheng Sam!” geleng Pendekar Yang sure.

“Why?”

“For we know Cheng Sam!”

“You know Cheng Sam?”

Chien Wan and Kui Fang were shocked to hear this information they did not expect. They're staring. A feeling of wonder was painted on their faces. How strange! Is not Peacock Hill and Red Eagle College unrelated? If the members of the two colleges knew each other, it was unexpected.

“Cheng Sam was once a member of us twenty-two years ago.”

The information is even more surprising.

“So Cheng Sam studied at your college? But, how could he be a member of Bukit Merak?” kui Fang.

“About why he could be a member of Bukit Merak, we don't know. What is clear is that our late teacher kicked him out. There was something quite embarrassing that he did at the time. Of course, we try not to hear the expulsion anywhere. Anyway we want to cover up the embarrassing incident,” said Pendekar Yang.

“What events?” chase Kui Fang curiously.

Swordsman who frowned, thinking. “I don't know for sure. I was a kid then, so I didn't understand much. Clearly, the matter concerns the honor of the family of our late teacher. That villain is not Cheng Sam. There's no way he'd want to hurt our college. He himself was a member. He wouldn't have hurt his own brothers.”

Kui Fang and Chien Wan looked at.

“Which Swordsman, do you know a woman called Little Lan?” chien Wan asked seriously.

The face of the wrinkled Swordsman was suspicious. “Why ask so?”

“Cause Cheng Sam never mentioned that name.” Kui Fang replied.

Swordsman Who sighed. “I don't want to talk about it. It has nothing to do with the problems I'm facing now,” looks cold. “I appreciate your help. But if you keep asking about the disgrace of our college, you better just go!”

“Please, listen first!” Kui Fang urged.

“Kui Fang, enough.” Chien Wan shook her head firmly at Kui Fang.

Kui Fang said even though his heart was upset.

Chien Wan looked at the face of Swordsman Yang who became unfriendly. Then he looked around too. Seemed the Swordsman's men gathered around them, staring with curious expressions.

“If that's true, there's a chance they're Cheng Sam and his men.”

“I told you it's impossible!” sergeant Pendekar Yang riled. “I know Cheng Sam's face.”

“But you won't recognize him if he's undercover.”
