Death Flute

Death Flute
Be feuding

There was no change whatsoever in the Bamboo Guesthouse. Things continue as usual. Master and Madam Luo lived a calm and peaceful life. Even if there is a problem, it is a small and almost meaningless family problem.

They did think of the moody and sad Ting Ting after being rejected by Chien Wan. But they know there is nothing they can do. They also began to consider Ting Ting's matchmaking with Meng Huan.

They were having a light conversation in the study room when a servant came to announce the arrival of a group from the Valley of Nada.

“My sister and her family are coming?” Mr. Luo was overjoyed. He and his wife rushed out.

Sui She stood up and exclaimed happily, “Sister! Sister-in-law!”

“Sui She!” Mr. Luo directly walked over to his sister and clasped his hands tightly while his wife was embracing. Her heart was delighted to see her sister looking healthy and more beautiful.

Ouwyang Kuan and the others immediately paid their respects.

Sen Khang smiled and approached his parents. “Dad, Mother.”

“Sen Khang!” Madam Luo approached and grabbed her son's hand. “Mother has missed you once.”

“Mother, some time ago I sent a mother and her son here. They suffered a disaster and I could not bear to see them strayed. I sent them here with the intention of getting Mom and Dad to hire them. Did they really come?” ask Sen Khang seriously.

“Yes, they came here. At that moment they looked very pitiful, injured and weak. I accept them here. They're in the waiter's room. I hired A Mei—woman's name—here as kitchen maid.”

“They are okay?”

“O yes! They have recovered after getting treatment and enough food.” Mother soothed.

Sen Khang smiled with relief.

Sui She takes A Lee from Siu Hung's sling. “Look at your new nephew, Brother. His name is Ouwyang Lee.”

Master and Madam Luo looked at A Lee. The plump little boy stared back at the two of them with his sharp gaze. For a moment there was no smile on the boy's face, his face looked solemn. But a moment later, that handsome plump face seemed to shine along with his wide smile. The dimple on her left sweetened her face.

“Aih, sweetness!” praise Madam Luo in admiration.

“Your son is very handsome, Sui She!” said Mr. Luo.

“But he doesn't look like Chien Wan, or are my eyes wrong?” Madam Luo looked at the astonishment.

“The face of Chien Wan is a blend of Sui She and Kuan's sister, and tends to resemble Sui She more closely. This boy..I think he looks like Mr. Ouwyang Cu,” commented Mr. Luo.

“Rightened. He looks like my father,” nods Ouwyang Kuan. “All the characteristics of the Ouwyang family, especially that stubborn chin, are in A Lee,” he continued with a laugh.

After taking off the longing for a moment, they all sat down. Master and Lady Luo were introduced to A Ming, Fei Yu, A Nan, and Siu Hung. Begin to have friendly conversations.

“Aunt, where's Ting Ting?” ouwyang Ping asked softly to Madame Luo on the sidelines of his family conversation.

“Maybe he is away with Meng Huan to the back,” replied Lady Luo.

Fei Yu listened to him. Her heart beat twice as fast hearing Ting Ting's name mentioned. Two years had passed since his last meeting with Ting Ting, yet he had not once forgotten about the girl. That was the only reason he wanted to come to the Bamboo Guesthouse; to meet Ting Ting!

Unknowingly, his hand reached into his clothing pocket. The hairpick that Ting Ting had taken back then was still there. He always kept it and sometimes looked at it with a sad heart.

He turned his head to the door, and that was when Ting Ting walked in!

That girl looks amazingly beautiful! Ting Ting Ting has always been beautiful, but now he's getting better. She was dressed in very beautiful pink clothes, her hair was woven in such a way as that of a noble princess, and her face was extremely beautiful even without polish. Her skin was pure white and flushed on the cheeks, adding to her charm. His pair of star-shining eyes looked at them happily.

“Aunt Sui She! Ping-er!” ting Ting exclaimed and hurried over to them.

“Ting Ting!” Sui She stood up and greeted her nephew with a warm embrace. Ouwyang Ping smiled nearby.

Meng Huan—who always followed Ting Ting to wherever—appeared shortly afterwards. His face is radiant.

“You all come!” exclaims happily. “It's a shame you guys just came now so never got to meet Chien Wan.”

“Chien Wan? Chien Wan came here?” ask Sen Khang.

“Betul. About a month ago.”

Sen Khang glanced at Ouwyang Ping who looked rather restless.

Sung Cen looked at the two of them and sighed. Then he took the initiative to ease the atmosphere by introducing his daughter and nephews to Ting Ting and Meng Huan.

Of course Ting Ting and Meng Huan were shocked to see Fei Yu, and were further astonished that Fei Yu was introduced as Sung Cen's nephew. Apparently, Sen Khang had never told them that.

Fei Yu grimaced and gave a greeting.

Ting Ting and Meng Huan replied to him without saying a word. They didn't want to say anything in front of the old people.

***

For several days they lived in the Bamboo House. Sen Khang took the time to visit the mother and child he helped with Ouwyang Ping some time ago. The mother and son looked healthy and happy. They were overjoyed to meet his two helpers again.

In recent days, the young men and women have begun to get to know each other better. They started getting along with each other. But after some time, it began to appear that there was antipathy among them that could not be hidden.

Because their habits are different, they also express their displeasure in different ways. Meng Huan had never blatantly expressed her frustration because she had always been polite. While Fei Yu was used to always being blunt with his feelings, then he never hid his dislike.

Plus, Fei Yu tends to like to spill her heart out to anyone who is talking to her. Including with Ting Ting himself, who had once tried to familiarize him with Meng Huan.

Thus, it could be seen who always got sympathy from the others.

As Fei Yu got the chance to talk to Ting Ting, Meng Huan was always around them.

“What's up? You're afraid I'll kidnap her again?” challenge Fei Yu cynically.

Meng Huan was surprised to be sprayed like that. “I'm not—“

“You are so annoying!” grunts Fei Yu.

Meng Huan's face was red. She was angrily mixed in shame from being said in front of Ting Ting. “Young Master Chang, please don't say that. If you don't like me being around you, I'll step aside.”

“Wait!” Ting Ting mediated. He looked at Fei Yu in annoyance. “You are why the hell? Always looking for!”

“Why are you defending him?” fei Yu exclaimed in annoyance while pointing the finger at Meng Huan.

“Of course I defended him!” Ting Ting. “Sister Huan is my older brother. You... you...”.

“I what?”

“You kidnapped me once! You are... bastard!” A moment later Ting Ting covered his own mouth, in disbelief he put Fei Yu on like that. He was sorry and wanted to apologize.

Fei Yu was fixated, her jaw hardened. “Alright, I am indeed a bastard!” said. Then the sight of his battered eyes turned cynical. “Don't blame me if I do anything someday. You said I was a bastard yourself?”

Without waiting for Ting Ting's response, he immediately left the place.

Only A Nan and Siu Hung had always supported Fei Yu. They saw the quarrel and rushed after Fei Yu to calm him down.

Fei Yu poured out her heart resentment furiously alone in the forest. He looked up when he heard the sound of people running. He saw A Nan and Siu Hung coming after him.

“Young Master!”

“What are you doing here? Don't you see I'm upset?” yuk Fei Yu.

“Young Master, angry will not solve the problem.”

“At least my frustration subsides!”

“Young Master's frustration is related to Miss Ting Ting, because she doesn't understand Young Master's feelings. In my opinion, the Young Master should be frank with him,” proposed A Nan.

“What should I say?” jolt Fei Yu was annoyed.

“That you like him, of course!” sela Siu Hung funny.

Fei Yu's face was blushing. “Who said I like him!”

Siu Hung laughed. “Ih, funny! A Nan, she had not realized her face was red like a boiled crab!”

“Be quiet, Bratty boy!” Fei Yu cursed and reached out to pick out Siu Hung's ears.

Siu Hung ran to the back of A Nan, hiding while continuing to stick out Fei Yu's soft tongue.

A Nan smiled gently. “Young Master, you'll really like Miss Ting Ting. But if you don't try to get close to him and be straightforward, how could he possibly know that you like him? Are you willing to marry Chi Meng Huan?”

Fei Yu snorted. “Chi Meng Huan does not deserve him!”

“But she is softer and pays attention to Miss Ting Ting,” A Nan continued. “We women tend to like men who pay attention to us rather than those who are thin and fierce every time they talk to us.”

“Then you are all blind!” tukas Fei Yu fierce.

“Maybe,” murmured A Nan.

“Ah come!” Fei Yu turned around and left A Nan and Siu Hung who looked at each other.

Fei Yu went to the back garden where she and Ting Ting had a fight a moment ago. She thought that at this moment Ting Ting had already left from there, but her conjecture turned out to be wrong. He stopped his steps seeing Ting Ting standing there alone. Among the colorful and fragrant flowers.

He stopped stepping and stayed in place, subconsciously complaining inwardly. Ting Ting is getting pretty, she thought. The love she had held for two years was now more abundant. He had a lot of love in his heart for this girl, he just didn't know how to express it.

Ting Ting tensed up as he realized that he was not alone. He turned his head and found Fei Yu there, standing at the edge of the garden. His face was grim and annoyed. The fight was still in his memory.

“Fei Yu, what are you doing there?” reproofing.

“It's okay!” elak Fei Yu's. Then he turned around and left the place.

Ting Ting scowled annoyedly at her.
