Death Flute

Death Flute
The Kupu Kupu Party

Later that night, Chien Wan and Kui Fang chat in the park. Much remains unclear for Chien Wan. He wanted to ask her a few things that stuck in her heart.

“That time, Ping-er and Sen Khang were so sure I was guilty. How can Ping-er help you in your play?” ask Chien Wan.

Kui Fang smiled. “When he saw you next to Mrs Luo's body, Ping-er did have time to trust his vision and blame you. But then he thought again and hesitated because it did not match your familiar character all along. Plus he finally realized that you can't use a sword, so there's no way you can kill using a sword. So he left Wisma Bambu and looked for Pendekar Sung. We met there. And he listened to all our plans carefully.”

“And now Sen Khang already believes that I am not the culprit. What about Ting Ting? Isn't he..?” Chien Wan took a heavy breath.

Instantly, Kui Fang's face turned moody. “Something I didn't say in front of Mom and Dad earlier, sister. About Ting Ting..”.

“Dia why?” chien Wan Tukas.

“It turns out she contains.”

Chien Wan was flabbergasted. Ting Ting pregnant? How hard the trials the girl had to face! Is not enough suffering during this time so you have to experience again the painful thing?

“I don't want to tell anyone about this, except Sister Wan. Do not let this disgrace spread widely. Don't let people know that now Ting Ting is pregnant with an illegitimate child. Poor him.” Kui Fang pensively sad.

Chien Wan. Mind raging.

“Now Brother Luo and Ping-er are familiar again,” chirps Kui Fang after some time.

“Hm?” Chien Wan muttered without paying too much attention. He is still occupied by his own mind.

“Yes. Originally, Brother Luo had been cold to Ping-er because he thought you were guilty. For him Ping-er is as guilty as you are just because he's your sister. Thank goodness now they are close again.”

Chien Wan's attention was disturbed.

“Near?”

Kui Fang nodded. “Sister Luo and Ping-er seem to like each other.”

Chien Wan's feelings were slightly shaken at the statement. He did not know that Sen Khang liked Ouwyang Ping because Sen Khang had never said or showed his heart.

“Kak Wan?”

Chien Wan sighed and looked up at the sky. The sky looks charming. The moon does not shine full, but the stars twinkle beautifully. Then he looked back at Kui Fang.

“Already night. Sleep.”

Kui Fang was already tired and sleepy. He could barely hold it. So hearing Chien Wan's letter, he did not argue. He stood up and smiled at the young man.

“Good. You sleep now too, brother. Good night.”

“Goodnight.”

After Kui Fang's death, Chien Wan did not go directly to his room. He sat in the garden thinking.

It turned out that he was not a sensitive person, he thought inwardly. All this time he always thought of himself so as not to realize the feelings of his own best friend. He never thought about the happiness of his best friend while Sen Khang unceasingly supported his happiness.

He should have encouraged Sen Khang to approach Ouwyang Ping and said that he approved of them. But what did he do? Constantly regretting yourself for a broken heart. Constantly reminiscing about the past that will never return.

Chien Wan placed both of her elbows on the stone table and rested her chin on the open palm. He closed both his eyes. Now he no longer felt sad when he remembered Ouwyang Ping. Memories of the past are too beautiful to forget, but now he can only think of them as mere memories. Not reality.

And if Sen Khang loves his Ouwyang Ping—adik, he will support him wholeheartedly.

Chien Wan looked up. Due to daydreaming, he lost his vigilance. He did not hear the footsteps approaching him because he knew that a beautiful and gentle young woman was in front of him. The woman was wearing a green silk dress. He was the head of the Green Group's bodyguard in the Butterfly Party. His name is Lan Sie.

“Nona Lan,” greet Chien Wan while standing.

Lan Sie smiled. He sat down so that he would not want Chien Wan to sit back down.

“Beautiful night. Didn't you?” lan Sie's smile was alluring.

Chien Wan nodded.

Lan Sie shifted her body so that she was close to Chien Wan. His hands were on the table and close to Chien Wan's. “I really admire your big name, Swordsman Ouwyang. All this time I have always been sure that you could not have committed that crime,” he said full of seriousness.

“Thank you.”

Lan Sie's hand shifted so that it was now on top of Chien Wan's palm. The hand of the woman is smooth and alluring.

Chien Wan was shocked. Lan Sie looked at him in surprise.

“You are so awesome, Swordsman Ouwyang. I'm really envious of Miss Kui Fang,” sighed Lan Sie.

Chien Wan's forehead wrinkled. His hand was pulled out of Lan Sie's grip. “I don't understand what you mean,” he said coldly. He did not like the attitude of this woman.

Lan Sie looked at Chien Wan full of wooing. “You are so attentive to Miss. I feel... how happy to be noticed like that.”

Chien Wan stood up. “Already night. I went to my room first,”. Without waiting for Lan Sie's response, she turned around and went towards her room.

Lan Sie was stunned in disbelief. Then he grumbled annoyed.

“Bogged basis!” snarl.

A few days later, Chien Wan faced Chairman Wu and said goodbye. He could not linger in the Butterfly Party even though he felt very hot there. He has a duty to carry out. The killer is still on the loose and his identity has not been revealed. He must seek it with all his might.

Kui Fang first knew of Chien Wan's plan. He wants to go with Chien Wan. He said that he also had an obligation to help Chien Wan. As friends of Chien Wan and Sen Khang, he said firmly.

Chairman Wu was unable to prevent it.

“We will help you in our own way, Chien Wan. We'll clear your good name and find out who the real culprit is. You don't worry. I've sent some of my men to investigate the matter,” says Chairman Wu means it.

Chien Wan saluted. “Thank you for Uncle's kindness. I really appreciate it.”

Kui Fang looked at his father. “Dad, I also went with Sister Wan.”

Chairman Wu sighed. He and his wife have talked about this repeatedly. They actually objected to allowing their daughter to leave again when she had just returned. But Kui Fang's desire was very harsh. It cannot be prevented.

They let the girl go.

The two left the Butterfly Party in the morning, when the dew was still dripping on the leaves and the sun had not yet shone brightly. The air was very cool and fresh, making both of them walk excitedly.
