Death Flute

Death Flute
A Ming Exposed to Poison

Sen Khang, Ouwyang Ping, Chien Wan, and Kui Fang arrived at Wisma Bambu a week before the anniversary ceremony of the death of members of Wisma Bambu. Their arrival was greeted by Hauw Lam and Kam Sien who were talking together in the front room.

“Young Master! Miss!” Hauw Lam and Kam Sien rushed to greet them.

“Uncle Hauw, Uncle Kam, why are you here?” tanya Ouwyang Ping was pleased. He immediately approached them and his face seemed radiant.

“The Great Lord sent us to the Bamboo Guesthouse shortly before he himself went to the meeting of the warriors with Miss Siu Hung. He said we have to help Mr and Mrs take care of Wisma Bambu,” explained Hauw Lam.

“It turns out Grandpa was so attentive,” timpal Sen Khang moved.

“As I always say; the Great Lord is just his mouth that is fierce,” Kam Sien's timpal is funny.

Everybody laugh.

“Let's go in,” take Chien Wan easy.

They went inside the room and saw Ouwyang Kuan and Sui She talking to Mr. Chang. Their conversation stopped because they saw the arrival of the four young people.

“Chien Wan! Ping-er!” Sui She got up from her seat and rushed over to her children. He misses them so much.

“Mother.” Chien Wan smiled slightly as she clasped her mother's left hand.

Ouwyang Ping hugged his mother warmly without embarrassment. “Mother!”

Ouwyang Kuan approached. “You guys are cheating. Why do you miss mom? Dad how?” goda.

“Dad...” Ouwyang Ping laughed and let go of his embrace to his mother and approached his father. Instantly his head was caressed by his father lovingly.

“Dad,” greet Chien Wan.

Sen Khang watched them. He felt sad and rather envious to see the happiness of their family. Their current state reminds him of himself and his family before the disaster.

After the family's longing was wiped out, Sen Khang and Kui Fang came forward to pay their respects to Ouwyang Kuan and his wife.

“Uncle, Aunty,” greet them.

“Sen Khang, Kui Fang, you guys are fine, right?” Sui She approached Kui Fang and held the girl's hand affectionately. He really loved that girl. In his opinion, no one else was more deserving of accompanying his son than Kui Fang.

“Good, Aunty,” replied Sen Khang.

“Aibi and Uncle are also healthy, right?” ask Kui Fang warmly.

“Of course, My son.”

“Dad, Mother, now Brother Luo becomes the Head of the Press,” reports Ouwyang Ping. He did not realize that pride was implied on his face, making him look radiant.

“Oh, really?” exclaim Ouwyang Kuan happy.

“Sen Khang?” Sui She flabbergasted.

Sen Khang was a little embarrassed to say it. He was worried they thought it was big. “Actually, it was Chien Wan who was asked, Uncle. But he refused. I just replaced him.”

“It's not true. They all chose you!” the Ouwyang Ping.

“Congratulations, Sen Khang!” Mr. Chang who had been silent since just now walked over and patted the young man on the shoulder. Face beaming. “Indeed no one else is suitable to replace Sung Han other than you.”

“It should be celebrated!” comment Kam Sien passionate.

“Have it, Brother Kam. Anyway, soon is the anniversary of the passing of my parents.”

Sen Khang's words silenced the joy of those people.

That was when, Ting Ting appeared inside the room. Fei Yu accompanied him with a radiant face.

“Kakak!” yang Ting Ting.

“Ting Ting!” Sen Khang approached his sister who immediately hugged him happily.

“You're fine, right?” ask Ting Ting.

“Of course.”

“I miss so much,” said Ting Ting spoiled.

Sen Khang smiled. This was the old Ting Ting, before the calamity. The vivacious and spoiled girl that everyone loved. Happiness gushed across his beautiful face. And that light came back thanks to Fei Yu.

Sen Khang laughed. “Do not tease me!”

“Tempting? I mean it!” refute Fei Yu.

“Where is Yi Hang, Ting Ting?” ask Ouwyang Ping.

“Eh, who is Yi Hang?” ask Kui Fang with interest.

“My son,” replied Ting Ting proudly. He looked at Ouwyang Ping. “He is in the room, being guarded by A Nan and A Ming.”

“A Ming?” exclaim Ouwyang Ping and Sen Khang almost simultaneously.

“Yes. He came here about a week ago. With his son,” explained Fei Yu slowly.

“But he...” Ouwyang Ping did not continue his words.

“Actually she suffered much more than me, Ping-er,” sighs Ting Ting. “Since that event, I've been thinking more about this. I was devastated thinking I was so dirty and poor. But I was given an infinite gift. I am loved by all of you. Observed, even spoiled. And A Ming... Since then, he has never had the slightest happiness. What's more.. he loves that villain.”.

Ouwyang Ping sighed.

Suddenly A Nan rushed forward with an extremely pale face. Both babies were in her arms, crying out loud. Ting Ting immediately took his son from A Nan's sling and calmed him down.

“Celaka! Miss Ming..”.

Mr. Chang is approaching. “What's with him?”

“Nona Ming fainted, Sir!”

“Means the poison has started attacking!” fei Yu was nervous.

“What poison?” Sen Khang asked cautiously.

Fei Yu pulled Sen Khang's hand and half dragged him inside. “Tell me later. Now, please save him!” her door.

The others followed them inside without saying a word.

Sen Khang examined A Nan's pulse closely. He was stunned to feel that irregular pulse. Then he opened A Nan's closed eyelids and opened his mouth to examine her tongue. He sighed and shook his head.

“What poison is he, Brother Luo?” tanya Ouwyang Ping.

“Racoon Red Seed. This poison is made from a kind of plant that only grows in the area of Khitan.”

“Can you treat it?” ask Fei Yu.

Sen Khang nodded. He stood up and went to the library. Before leaving Ginseng Island, his teacher had supplied him with an assortment of rare poisons along with the antidote. And fortunately, the type of poison that hit A Ming was one of the rare types of poison that was on the list of poison given by the Medicine God.

The God of Medicine realized that no matter how great the intelligence of Sen Khang, it was impossible for him to be able to learn all the science of medicine in a very short time. It takes a lot of experience to be able to understand it well. And until now, Sen Khang had not encountered any difficulties with the poison problem. It's just that he had a bit of trouble if he had to find medicinal leaves and roots and tasting them into poison or antidote. Then that's the God of Medicine equipped him with various bidders.

Shortly afterwards, Sen Khang returned with a bottle of medicinal pills in his hand. He poured out two grains. With the help of the tea water, he inserted the medicinal pill into A Ming's mouth.

Seen A Ming's throat gurgling, a sign he had swallowed.

Sen Khang stood up. “He will be conscious in about two hours.”

Mr. Chang is very relieved. He approached Sen Khang and held the young man's hand.

“Can't I say how much I thank you, Sen Khang,” said Mr. Chang. “He has made a huge mistake. But he's still my nephew. I promised my late brother and Sung Cen to look after him. If he gets hurt, I don't have the face to meet my sister and Sung Cen in nature.”

“Don't say that, Uncle. We are family. How could I possibly have just kept quiet to see him suffer?” Sen Khang smiled soothingly.

Mr. Chang sighed.

Chien Wan and Kui Fang watched from the outside.

“Fei Yu, what happened?” chien Wan asked Fei Yu who was standing not far from him.

Just then, Sen Khang and Ouwyang Ping went outside from A Ming's room.

Fei Yu took the four of them to the library.
