Mr. Chang lay down on his bed. He felt very ungodly. His body was very weak and his stomach was nauseous, while his vision was twitching. He was very upset, especially when remembering his mistakes so far. He had trusted the wrong person and was too stubborn to listen to his son's words that Cheng Sam could not be trusted.
Now he had to pay a heavy price for his stubbornness!
Fei Yu walked in and immediately sat on the edge of his father's bed. “Dad.”
“Fei Yu...” Mr. Chang reached for his son's hand and squeezed him weakly. “Now... You must.. laughed at me.”.
“This father talk what!” sergeant Fei Yu. “Already, do not think too much about this incident. What has passed let pass.”
“But now.. all our possessions. I do not know how I.. can be responsible. everything in front of our ancestors when I die. All this..my fault! Huk! Huk!” Mr. Chang coughed and held onto his chest.
Fei Yu immediately rubbed his father's back, calming him down. “Don't say that, Dad. It's not your fault. It's Cheng Sam's fault! Watch him, I'll chop him up!”
“My fault is.. he got... had a chance.... screwed up...! My fault... because mem... trust him!”
“Dad, don't talk anymore. What matters now is that you need to get well soon. Once Dad gets well, I'll go and find the bastard and drag him here to account for all his deeds! But now we don't have to think about that anymore. Dad has to forget everything and fight to get well soon!” Fei Yu grabbed the medicine bowl from the table and blew on it. He threw the bowl into his father's mouth. “Dad take medicine first.”
Mr. Chang's eyes were glazed. He swallowed the bitter medicine with great difficulty. His pair of eyes did not look at his son. He had been completely blind all along! Having heard Cheng Sam's words too much, he was always at odds with Fei Yu. He considered Fei Yu a brash child who always denied his parents. It turns out he was wrong! He was wrong about many things. Fei Yu was a dutiful child, loving him very much! Cheng Samlah who is disobedient and ungrateful!
“Now Dad sleeps first. Me and A Nan will take care of Dad.”
“You... must be tired.”
“No.” Fei Yu smiled soothingly.
Not long after, Mr. Chang fell asleep.
Fei Yu waited for a while until his father was completely slumbering. He came out after asking A Nan to guard. He should talk to his friends about what steps should be done.
When he came out, it turned out that Pendekar Sung and several other warriors were waiting there. His face was slightly flushed because he remembered that he had once made a less pleasant impression in the eyes of the warriors. But they seem to have forgotten it. The proof is they're willing to come to help him when he's in trouble.
“Fei Yu, we are sorry about what happened to you.” Swordsman Sung approached and patted his shoulder.
“Thank you for the arrival of Uncle and the other warriors.” Fei Yu paid his respects to all of them. His face looked pale and tired.
“We have heard the story from Pendekar Sung,” Pendekar Fu said. “It is a pity that we did not hear about this incident. presumably none of your men reported it to the City of Lok Yang.”
“Almost all my men betrayed and followed Cheng Sam,” tell Fei Yu.
“So apparently,” nods Swordsman Lei. “But you don't have to worry. We've deployed each of our men to find out where Cheng Sam is. As soon as we get the news, we will tell each other and do the action.”
“Thank you, Brothers,” Swordsman Sung saluted. “We really appreciate your help.”
“Do not hesitate. After all Mr. Chang is your relative, Swordsman Sung. It is our duty to the people of the martial world to help each other if others experience disaster,” said Pendekar Kam.
Fei Yu could not say anything because it was too moved.
Siu Hung approached Fei Yu. “You think we need to tell Uncle Sung Cen and A Ming?”
“Do not,” prevent Fei Yu. “I don't want them to be anxious.”
“So you guys didn't come home with him apparently,” between Pendekar Sung. The rush made him not realize that Fei Yu only went home with Siu Hung and A Nan.
“We went without saying goodbye!” sahut Siu Hung is carefree.
“What?” belalak Pendekar Sung's.
Fei Yu's face was red when she realized the silliness of her attitude a while ago. He went to take Siu Hung and A Nan without saying goodbye to Sung Cen. Of course, Sung Cen was confused at the moment thinking about them. “Uncle, it's my fault. I brought Siu Hung home first. They are now at Wisma Bambu.”
“Wisma Bamboo?” Chien Wan frowned.
“Long story. I'll tell you later,” Fei Yu said briefly.
“But there is a good thing we also go home first,” Siu Hung chirps lightly. “If we don't go home, we won't know about this. Even if we are not late to help Uncle Chang!”
Fei Yu nodded loudly.
His daughter's words made Swordsman Sung grimace and voidly scold the two of them.

A week later, Mr. Chang's state gradually improved. Careful treatment as well as painstaking care done by his son and the servants have helped him regain his old condition. He told his son to record their lost possessions, and collect what was left.
Fei Yu worked hard to record their loss. He is assisted by Chien Wan and Siu Hung who meanwhile live there to help him. They lost a lot, ranging from the treasure of gold and silver coins, precious jewels inlaid with precious stones, ancestral heritage heirlooms, and their sacred books of storage.
However, it turns out there are also those who did not have time to be looted by Cheng Sam and friends. The jewels of Fei Yu's late mother were still stored in the large box in Fei Yu's room. There are still large bowls made of gold and silver ancestral relics that are presumably too heavy to carry.
And the most comforting of Mr. Chang's heart, his most precious legacy was not taken. It was fortunate that Mr. Chang placed it inside his disguised wardrobe which was apparently not glimpsed in the slightest by Cheng Sam. It was a sword made of jade. The age of the jade was already thousands of years so its hardness rivaled that of steel.
“This heirloom jade sword, Father. Cheng Sam didn't tear apart your undercover wardrobe, Dad. Apparently he thought the closet was all junk,” Fei Yu said.
Mr. Chang grinned. “Untung course. If the contents of the cupboard were taken, I would have trouble finding it again. That I'll leave to you later.”
Fei Yu turned his head in horror. “Jeez, Dad! What good is that junk for me?”
“Rongsokan!” exclaimed Mr. Chang gusar. “Fill the closet is very valuable for master impostors! Inside are a wide variety of clothes, accessories, and everything necessary to transform yourself into someone else.”
“But I am not a disguise,” Fei Yu said.
Mr. Chang nodded. “Terusslah. Anyway don't let Siu Hung touch that closet. I can get dizzy if he whines to be taught to make a disguise. It's not that I don't want to teach him. You know how he can drive the teachers who teach him crazy!”
Fei Yu smirked. “Toooooooo.”
“You mean—“
Mr. Chang's words were interrupted by Siu Hung's incursion into Mr. Chang's room. Both of his hands were full by the luggage he had taken from the undercover fixture cabinet.
“Uncle! There are so many interesting things in your closet! Must be your undercover equipment, huh? Teach me later, will you?”
Mr. Chang's face paled.
Fei Yu laughed and left his father while humming softly.
He went back to the library because he wanted to start looking again. Chien Wan was already there with a few volumes of books in her hands.
“There are several boxes that Cheng Sam did not open. I found this.” Chien Wan held out those books.
Fei Yu accepted and checked. When he opened one of the books, his face lit up. “This is the book of my late ancestors. The Book of Shadow Sword Science,” tells him. He flipped through the pages and came back grim. “This is only a small part. It turned out that the Book of Shadow Swords consisted of five volumes. This is the last volume. The first four volumes have been taken by Cheng Sam.”
“Certainly useless if only four volumes,” entertain Chien Wan.
Fei Yu shook his head. “You don't understand! This science is terrible. My ancestor purposely divided it in five volumes because it was very dangerous if one were to directly learn everything at once. It has to start from one part, and then continue. You know, just studying the first part was great. Studying four parts is the same as making it as tight as my father!”
“Your father also only mastered the initial four volumes?”
Fei Yu shook his head grimly. “Only three initial volumes. And all of that was passed down to me. The new father would give me the fourth volume and tell me to study it myself because I didn't master it.”
“Then you just learn the fifth volume,” suggests Chien Wan is calm.
“If he learns it, it means his silat science will be higher than your father's. Means higher than you.” Chien Wan.
Fei Yu nodded grimly.
Chien Wan also understood the severity of the situation. A cunning criminal is out there, with a high-level book of silat. When Cheng Sam studied silat, how chaotic the martial world. Fei Yu's martial arts were extremely high. If Cheng Sam's martial arts would be higher than Fei Yu's, who would be able to match him?
Suddenly Chien Wan remembered. “You master swordsmanship, but you will not use the sword.”
“I didn't like the use of swords, so I varied it by using a fan. The way I hold my fan is likened to the way I hold a sword. Can, kok.”
Chien Wan nodded.
Suddenly, Fei Yu's men came in a hurry. “Young Master!”
“What's up?”
“Barusan one of the guards of Swordsman Lei came. Said there was news of Cheng Sam's whereabouts!”
Fei Yu and Chien Wan stood up.
***
Swordsman Sung is in the front room. Since his arrival to Bukit Merak a week ago, he decided to stay at Bukit Merak and help Mr. Chang recover the situation. His help was very useful to Master Chang and Fei Yu. Fei Yu was indeed a great and capable young man, but in household stewardship her experience was still lacking. Swordsman Sung's help was very helpful to them.
The report of Pendekar Lei's men astonished him.
“Uncle, how?” Fei Yu rushed over.
Swordsman Sung turned. “Fei Yu, there is something that amazes me.”
“What is it, Uncle?”
“They found Cheng Sam appearing in the Bamboo Forest region. But no one can be sure because only once he was seen there.”
“Bamboo Forest?” Chien Wan furrowed her brows in confusion.
“Do you want her there?” Fei Yu pouted. Then immediately he gasped. “don't-don't he have bad plans against the residents of Wisma Bambu!” yells.
Chien Wan stiffened. Right too....
Swordsman Sung looked at the two young men in turn. He hurriedly calmed down. “Do not think badly first. The informer may be mistaken. The problem is that he was only seen there once. Could be what you saw it was not him.”
“But beware no harm!”
“Uncle Luo is high-scientific and very alert. Moreover, hearing your story, there is also Uncle Sung, my parents, Sen Khang, and Ping-er. They can definitely take care of themselves.” Chien Wan calmed Fei Yu down, as well as calmed herself down.
“What if they've returned to Nada Valley?”
Chien Wan was stunned to think of this possibility.
“We'd better go there to check!” gulan Fei Yu was enthusiastic.
Swordsman Sung interrupted, “What about Peacock Hill?”
Fei Yu suddenly woke up. Of course he could not leave Bukit Merak when the situation was chaotic like this. He nodded, not knowing what to do.
Swordsman Sung thought. “Let's go, how about you go, Chien Wan?” his proposal.
Chien Wan sighed. “You think so too.”
Fei Yu did not argue even though he himself really wanted to come along. His residence should be thought about. Don't let him when he's gone, Cheng Sam is coming again! After all, there was still the last volume of the Book of Shadow Swords in his hands. If Cheng Sam realizes that he lost the last volume, it is not impossible that he returned to Bukit Merak to seize it.
Especially now that his father has begun to recover, but his strength has not returned. If he goes, Bukit Merak will come back weak.
Then it was determined that Chien Wan would go to the Bamboo Guesthouse.
“You must be careful, Chien Wan,” Fei Yu's message is serious. “Remember! What you're going to face is Cheng Sam. You don't know him like I do so maybe you don't know how dangerous he is! If there is anything, please feel free to contact me!”
Chien Wan nodded.
“Just relax!” tukas Siu Hung's. “Kakak Ouwyang would be great!”
Fei Yu snorted. “I'm not talking about silat intelligence! Perhaps Chien Wan's martial arts were indeed high. But I'm talking about a ruse. Cheng Sam is the kind of person who does not hesitate to use tricks to harm people!”
“I know,” nod Chien Wan.
“And remember one thing, Cheng Sam is a sycophant! He was the smartest at convincing people to believe him. You remember that, just in case he tried to influence Mr and Mrs Luo—“
“Fei Yu.”
The call made them all look. Mr. Chang appeared in the room with A Nan in his arms.
“Dad! Why are you out?” reprimand Fei Yu. Soon he asked his father to sit in a big chair. Mr. Chang looked sadly.
“Dad heard everything. I'm sorry that I used to be tempted by Cheng Sam's persuasion. Father...”
“Already, Father. Everything has passed,” comfort Fei Yu.
“True, Brother Chang. The past is no longer to be questioned. Now we must immediately arrest Cheng Sam so that he can account for his actions,”, Pendekar Sung said.
Mr. Chang's face turned serious. “There is one thing you should know.”
“What's up, Dad?”
“For so long I trusted him so much that I allowed him to be in my study while I was making a disguise. I'm afraid he stole some undercover technique. I didn't teach him so maybe what he learned wasn't a deep technique. But I feel at this time he can also make his own disguise skin mask. I'm worried...” Mr. Chang sighed and shook his head.
“You're worried he'll use that skill to disguise himself and make trouble?” chien Wan asked calmly.
“Yes. He will carry around the name of Bukit Merak.”
Fei Yu punched out his own palm. “He won't I forgive!”
Swordsman Sung who always thought long suddenly worried. “Currently he is seen in the Bamboo Forest. It was not impossible that he would disguise himself into someone that Mister Luo might have trusted. And under his guise it will influence Master Luo to trust him.”
“Then, Chien Wan should get there as soon as possible!” tukas Fei Yu's. “And warned Mr Luo that there would be someone who might just go undercover to be one of his friends!”
“What if it has already happened?” sela Siu Hung was curious.
“Then my job is to dismantle his disguise,” Chien Wan said calmly. “What should I do to find out if someone is undercover or not, Uncle Chang?”
Mr. Chang sighed. “Actually this is a secret, but..all right. If there is someone you suspect is undercover, look at the bottom of his ear right behind the jaw joint that is connected to the ear. If there is a thin layer there, you can be sure he was wearing a disguise skin.”
Chien Wan nodded. “Alright then. I'd better leave early tomorrow.”
Then Chien Wan went packing.
The next day, Chien Wan leaves Peacock Hill.
