Death Flute

Death Flute
The Nada Valley

The arrival of Sung Cen and the group was warmly welcomed by the entire Ouwyang family who were gathered in the sitting room. Mr. Ouwyang was nowhere to be seen there because as usual, the old man was busy with his own affairs. Ouwyang Kuan with his wife and two children were sitting and having a light conversation. They were happy to see Sung Cen's return. They invited Sung Cen and his entourage to sit down and chat with them while eating a small meal. While A Nan knowingly went to the back with Hauw Lam.

“So this is your daughter, Sung Cen.” Ouwyang Kuan smiled at A Ming who looked awkward. His friendly and warm smile made A Ming's awkwardness disappear.

“True,” sahut Sung Cen proud.

Sui She looked at the green-clothed girl gently. “What's your name, Son?”

“A Ming, Mistress. My name is Sung Lien Ming.”

“Do not call mistress. Just call me aunt. I guess your age is not much different from our daughter Ping-er,” Sui She said as she grabbed the hand of Ouwyang Ping sitting by her side.

“My daughter is older than Ping-er,” by Sung Cen. “A Ming is only a few months younger than Chien Wan.”

Ouwyang Ping did not say much. It was still a bit difficult to start a conversation with Sung Cen. However painful events two years ago still remain in his memory and it was Sung Cen who caused it. So he just kept quiet and just listened to the conversation around him.

He was surprised to see the arrival of the group. Moreover, it turns out that most of them are already known. He recognized Chang Fei Yu and Sung Siu Hung. He was quite happy to see them again even though he still did not understand the relationship between the two people with Sung Cen.

But only this time did he see A Ming. The girl was quiet and somewhat unfamiliar with the surrounding atmosphere. Ouwyang Ping continued to observe him.

Suddenly A Ming's eyes flashed with Ouwyang Ping's eyes. The two girls looked inside. Each has its own assumptions about its opponents.

It was then that A Lee decided that he was bored with the conversation of those adults and crept down from his brother's lap. He limped towards the front door.

For a moment no one noticed it, but Siu Hung— who also started to get bored with all the pleasantries that— saw the boy. As fast as lightning the girl ran towards the door and caught A Lee.

A Lee laughed loudly as Siu Hung swung it over his head.

Everyone looked over at A Lee's laughter.

Ouwyang Ping approached them. “A Lee, since when are you here?” reproofing. He looked at Siu Hung. “Luckily you saw it out.”

“I'm bored!” chirps Siu Hung cheerful. “And he's just as bored as I am. Can I take him out?”

“Let's go out together.” Ouwyang Ping turned to his father and stepmother. “Dad, Mom, we're out first. Excuse me, everyone.”

Sen Khang looked at the departure of the three. He complained in his heart. Indeed, what he wanted most was to go also with Ouwyang Ping. But he knew, it was impolite to just leave this conversation.

Ouwyang Kuan seems to understand the feelings of Sen Khang. “You better take Fei Yu and A Ming for a walk, Sen Khang. Let us elders continue the conversation,” told him.

Smile Smile Khang expands. “Good, Uncle.”

The three of them came out and caught up with Ouwyang Ping and Siu Hung.

***

Ouwyang Ping sat on a mound of grass at the southern foothills of the vast and cool Nada Valley. He plucked his harp with great concentration clinging to beautiful and melodious tones, playing an enchanting soft song. The song accompanies Siu Hung who is jumping up and down like a deer while holding A Lee on his shoulder.

A Lee laughed out loud, excited by this new game. He and Siu Hung were immediately sticky as if they had known each other for a long time. One of his fat hands was busy waving while the other one clutched Siu Hung's hair to hold on.

“Hiyyaaa!” Siu Hung started galloping like a horse and it made the boy even more excited.

Sen Khang and the others came there and saw the sight. They were amused to see Siu Hung acting like that.

Sen Khang sat next to Ouwyang Ping followed by his two friends.

“You're not worried that kid dropped your sister?” sen Khang asked with a laugh looking at Siu Hung's behavior.

Ouwyang Ping shook his head. His eyes were so soft when he looked at his sister. “Siu Hung holds A Lee well. Anyway I'll keep an eye on them.”

“Yes, you just fly to welcome your sister if they fall,” seductive Sen Khang.

“Fly?” grunts Fei Yu. “Where can a human fly?”

“You yourself move like flying when screwing up the meeting of the warriors first,” ledek Sen Khang.

Fei Yu blushed a bit. “It's not flying!” his elbow. “That's a high level body light science!”

“Ping-er is now able to match you. You be careful, Fei Yu!” the Goda Sen Khang. “He also learned from Black Bats!”

Fei Yu's eyes widened. “Really?” yells. “Then you can still be my younger brother!”

Ouwyang Ping smiled slightly. “Betul.”

“Good then!” Fei Yu nodded. “Surely as a big brother, I can test your silat science!”

“Bby.”

Fei Yu stood up and reached out, posing a challenge. “Then, why not just now?”

Ouwyang Ping stopped his harp quotes. It stands. “What are the requirements?”

“Only that?”

“I wanted you not to use the harp, but then I remembered that all the science of the Valley of Nada must be related to musical instruments. Then you can use the harp and I'll use my fan. How?” Fei Yu smirked.

Ouwyang Ping nodded gracefully.

Sen Khang stood up. “Hey, you guys are serious, yes?”

“Sure!” fei Yu's nod.

Siu Hung jumped up and down with sparkling eyes. “You want to fight, huh? I'm following you, huh?”

“You just watch!” tell Fei Yu to be firm. Siu Hung sneered.

“Ping-er Sen Khang tried to block.

“Sister Luo, you take Siu Hung and Miss Ming and A Lee to the side, huh? If the sound of my harp is too deafening, you plug their ears with a special plug. You brought it, right?” ask Ouwyang Ping.

Sen Khang looked at him and saw a spirit he had never seen since they were together again. He also nodded and nodded. “Alright, I'll take them aside.”

Fei Yu jumped into the middle of the valley with a very light movement, almost like hovering. He whipped out the fan tucked into his belt and unfolded it, then began to fan with a mocking expression.

Ouwyang Ping followed with an equally light movement. He gets ready for his harp.

“Prepare, Ouwyang Ping! I won't be half-and-half!”

“I also don't.”

They move together. Their movements were very beautiful and pliable, as if they were dancing. Fei Yu's extraordinary and almost incomparable body light science has now got its balance. Ouwyang Ping was able to dodge every attack and retaliate equally lightly and quickly.

Everyone watching was stunned and stunned. They are not watching a fight, but watching a dance show. Siu Hung jumped up and down.

“Come, Fei Yu! Go, Ping-er! Great!” shouts Siu Hung amazed.

“Bat!” A Lee followed.

Sen Khang was surprised to see it. Two years ago, Fei Yu's intelligence had not been like this. They used to be balanced with Fei Yu who was superior in body light science. Fei Yu looked very advanced. Apparently during these two years Fei Yu practiced a lot and managed to master the complicated and powerful family sciences. Now if they fight again, not necessarily he is able to match him. And Ouwyang Ping, he did not expect at all it turned out that the progress of the girl was this fast! The girl's intelligence is amazing!

Their rapid movements were barely able to be followed by A Ming. He was only able to see the prowess of the golden and white clothes that Ouwyang Ping and Fei Yu wore. He did not practice silat well. At the monastery he did not receive a kung fu education. For two years he trained. According to his uncle, he was pretty good. Now seeing Fei Yu and Ouwyang Ping, he knew he was nothing. Want him not to be impressed. It turned out that his cousin Fei Yu was so amazing!

After a while, it appeared that Fei Yu was superior in close combat. He often gets a chance to cripple Ouwyang Ping. In a real fight, he must have crippled the girl. But since this was just an ordinary match, he held back his attack.

Ouwyang Ping himself realized Fei Yu's superiority. If they continued to fight at close range, he would undoubtedly lose. So he drifted away and began to pluck his harp.

Ouwyang Ping's wiggly fingers began to touch the strings of the harp. There was the clinking of the first note, and so on came the beautiful tone created. But over time, the beautiful and melodious tone turned sinister. It sounded terrible like a gripping rhythm of death. The inner power it deployed caused the wind to blow fiercely. The birds are flying here. The trees around them swayed until their leaves fell and flew away.

Fei Yu's concentration was disturbed. The sound hurt his ears and the longer it became more painful. He was cross-legged and exerted his inner energy to protect his hearing, closing his ear canal so that the sound would not hurt him.

Sen Khang started acting as soon as he heard the first clink. Handing out earplugs to A Ming and Siu Hung, she put them on A Lee. He himself began to concentrate on exerting energy within.

At its peak, Ouwyang Ping suddenly shot up and continued clanking the harp. The sparks glowed every time he picked. The sparks shot out like arrows and towards Fei Yu who was all the while alert. With his fan he shook and repelled the arrival of the sparks. Each fire caused a small explosion.

They finally stopped. The wind stopped blowing and the leaves that were flying began to fall around them like rain.

Their audience gaped, feeling admiration and also horror.

Siu Hung was the first to awaken from his slackness. He immediately cheered and ran up to them while plucking his ear plugs. “Great once!” girang. He punched Fei Yu's shoulder playfully. “If I knew you were this great, I'd ask you to teach me!”

Fei Yu looked in horror. “Gosh! Until the world collapses I don't want to be your teacher!”

Siu Hung. “Why?”

“You think I don't know what you're doing to the teachers who taught you? They mostly only lasted a few weeks before finally begging to leave! They say, you are the most terrible student they have ever met!”

“What did you say?” Siu Hung jumped up and smacked Fei Yu's arm fiercely. “I am so awesome! What is so terrible? You're making things up! The child of the Thousand Faces God! Your father has a thousand faces, you have a hundred faces! Two hundred, three hundred faces. Here you! I made your face back to normal, just one!”

Fei Yu dashed around dodging the punch while wide-eyed.

During these two years, Fei Yu was very familiar with Siu Hung. Siu Hung often went to Bukit Merak. He told his father he wanted to meet his cousin, A Ming. But in reality he was always with Fei Yu. Fei Yu liked him a lot. Siu Hung is like the little brother he never had. His disappointment because his own cousin was so quiet, was treated with the presence of Siu Hung. The teenage girl came, pestered her kung fu practice, meddled in her affairs, and became her partner in pranking Cheng Sam. He was annoyed if Siu Hung came and pestered him, but if he did not come Fei Yu would wonder, even following him to Lok Yang City.

Sen Khang laughed watching them. Then he approached Ouwyang Ping.

“Excellent, Ping-er!” his praise. “I didn't expect your silat science to advance so quickly. Now I'm not sure if I can match you!” His pair of shining eyes looked at the girl.

Ouwyang Ping only smiled faintly and did not say a word.

A Ming watched the two of them take turns. An understanding flashed through his mind, leaving him injured.
