Death Flute

Death Flute
The Meeting of the Swordsmen

The next day they went to Pendekar Sung's house.

Chien Wan carried her flute tucked in her belt. No one could see the flute because it was hidden by his robe. Ouwyang Ping took his harp. Sen Khang brought nothing. Meng Huan and Ting Ting carried their swords.

Pendekar Sung's men confronted them at the gate. His attitude is polite, yet firm.

“Sorry, Sir and Miss. Rules prohibit guests from carrying weapons. So please be deposited here,” he said firmly.

Meng Huan and Ting Ting handed over their swords. But Ouwyang Ping objected to taking off his harp.

“Nona, preferably Miss musical instrument is deposited also.”

Ouwyang Ping shook his head firmly. “I cannot leave my harpaku,” reject it.

“Nona, this is rule.”

“I don't want to,” reject Ouwyang Ping.

“Again that it is only a musical instrument, not a weapon,” sela Sen Khang defended.

“Sorry, that's the rule. If Miss does not want to leave it, Miss must not enter the meeting room.”

“Rules made right to be violated, A Te.”

Everyone turned to the origin of the carefree voice at the entrance. A teenage girl dressed in all blue stepped out from inside the house. He raised his eyebrows silly. Her face is sweet and funny. He looked very young, probably around three or fourteen years old.

“Miss Siu Hung! What do you mean? That rule was your father who made it,” said A Te desperate. His face was rather horrified to see the teenager.

The girl smiled very broadly. “I love to see that harp. You know, you owe me, A Te. Let them in, or I'll tell my dad..”.

“Alright! Alright!” sergeant A Te cut off the girl's words. He looked back at Ouwyang Ping. “Nona can enter. No need to drop harp.”

“A Te..!” His fellow guards protested, but went silent as soon as the teenage girl looked at him.

Chien Wan and his friends came in.

Ouwyang Ping looked at the teenage girl with gratitude. “Thank you, Miss.”

The girl smiled mischievously. “My name is Sung Siu Hung. You guys just keep going in. There are a lot of people inside. I'm going to go first. When my dad is busy, it's time for me to have fun. Bye!”

All were astonished to see the leisurely sidling Sung Siu Hung leave the place accompanied by the desperate cries of the doormen who forbade him to leave.

“Gosh, how naughty that kid is!” sen Khang.

“She's funny once.” Ting Ting laughed amusedly.

Meng Huan grimaced. “Surely his father has been overwhelmed by it.”

Chien Wan and Ouwyang Ping said nothing. They just smile a little.

They stepped in through the park that connected the gate with the entrance of the Pendekar Sung residence. Everyone looked in awe because the place was beautiful and artful. They had heard that the Chief of the Army was a wealthy man. Pendekar Sung's father was a wealthy merchant who had a trading and escort business. Pendekar Sung, in addition to having a strong silat science, also has a strong business spirit.

Before they stepped in, a middle-aged man came out with an annoyed face. He sighed deeply as he looked at the group of young people before him. He summarized his two hands to greet the way of the swordsman.

Sen Khang replied, “True, Swordsman Sung. My name is Luo Sen Khang. I came with my sister Ting Ting and my younger brother Chi Meng Huan.” He pointed at Ting Ting and Meng Huan who greeted him in the same way. “We represent the Bamboo Guesthouse. My father did not come, so he sent us.”

Swordsman Sung's face was radiant. “It turns out Brother Luo has a grown son and daughter,” he said happily. Then his gaze turned to Chien Wan and Ouwyang Ping. “And you two...”.

“I Chien Wan and this is Ouwyang Ping,” replied Chien Wan.

Swordsman Sung frowned. “Ouwyang? Did you guys come to represent the Valley of Nada?”

“True,” replied Ouwyang Ping. “Master Ouwyang Kuan is my father. We were asked to represent Nada Valley in this meeting.”

Swordsman Sung was very happy. “What a wonderful meeting this time! At the previous meeting, my invitation was always ignored by the Ouwyang Family. I had thought that, until my term was over, there would be no time for me to meet the people of Nada Valley. Turns out this time you guys responded to our invitation.”

“We are sorry...”.

“Already!” tukas Pendekar Sung laughed. “I'm just kidding. I am very happy to meet the young warriors from Wisma Bambu and Nada Valley.” His face was upset. “Today is very special if only my daughter did not escape from her room,” grumbled.

“Is she Miss Sung Siu Hung?” ask Meng Huan.

Swordsman Sung was shocked. “You've met him?”

“So he told us to come in.”

“Where is he now..?” muttered Pendekar Sung grim. “My son is very naughty. Today in fact he is being punished not to be out of the room.”

All are amused.

“You just go in first. I'll assign my bodyguards to look for my son. After that I will start the meeting soon.” Swordsman Sung greeted back cordially before going to the gate.

The five young people entered into the middle room which also served as a meeting room. Inside, it was crowded. The meeting of the warriors was attended by prominent warriors from all over the country. The representatives of the various silat societies had occupied their seats and were chatting seriously.

Their presence is not so inviting attention because of the large number of people who exist. Only a few people looked at them with admiration, it was only because of the presence of two beautiful virgin—Ouwyang Ping and Luo Ting Ting.

Shortly after, Swordsman Sung entered the room. The meeting also began.

“Brothers, welcome to this meeting.” Thus Pendekar Sung's speech began the meeting.

The meeting this time discussed the two problems that are being faced by the United World lately. Recently, six mysterious figures from the Khitan appear that are starting to cause problems. They attacked the silat society in order to conquer them in order to submit to their orders. I don't know what their true purpose is. To be sure, every defeated silat society must be a member of them.

The second problem is not serious. There was a character who was nicknamed the Black Bat. Nicknamed so because he always wore all-black clothes and always move at night. His movements were so fast and agile that they were hard to find, let alone conquer. The Black Bat never caused any casualties. It's just that every appearance is always accompanied by the disappearance of something.

Chien Wan listened to him with interest. The first issue did not draw much attention. Black Bats are more attractive to him. If someone is nicknamed a bat, his movements must be very fast and agile.

The meeting was filled with debates, as well as disagreements between the warriors. If the debate starts to heat up, Pendekar Sung will mediate wisely and fairly.

Sen Khang thought, it is not surprising that Pendekar Sung was appointed as the Head of the Association. He greatly admired the wisdom of Swordsman Sung. Secretly, he hopes to become like Swordsman Sung. Since long time ago he has admired the reputation of Pendekar Sung. Now his admiration has become more.

In the midst of the debate between the warriors, suddenly a shadow flashed and stood in the midst of all of them. His movements were very fast because there was no sign of his innocence before, the sign of science lightening his body was extraordinary. His presence shocked all those present there as the person was known to be a character who had an unfavorable reputation among the warriors.

Seriate.
