Death Flute

Death Flute
The Past of Cheng Sam

“We and our family and all members of this college would like to thank you very much for the help you give. Somehow we can reply to the good services of you all,” said Chairman Kam when entertaining them.

Pendekar Sung saluted. “You don't have to behave like that. All of this has become our duty as fellow members of the military. Anyway, if it wasn't for your men's report; Swordsman Yang, we wouldn't all be here.”

Swordsman who interrupts, “Keua, actually we can reply to the services of Swordsman Ouwyang in this case.”

Chairman Kam looked interested. “How?”

“Ouwyang researchers are looking for information about Cheng Sam. I told him that Cheng Sam was once a member of our college. But I can't tell you the details. Besides because I don't really know, also because as an ordinary member, I don't have the right to open our college past.”

Chief Kam is glued. He looked at his wife who looked somewhat troubled.

Chien Wan saluted. “Chairman Kam, Cheng Sam has committed many sins. He must take responsibility for his actions. There is something we need to know about his past to unravel some unsolved mysteries, and we suspect it has something to do with his past. Therefore we have to know his past,” he said calmly.

Chief Kam sighed.

Madam Kam touched her husband's arm, staring meaningfully. Her husband then nodded.

“Actually, this matter is related to my family. My father was the chairman of the college before. Cheng Sam is his student,” said Madam Kam.

Chien Wan focused on Madam Kam. For a moment he suspected, lest this woman was Little Lan who was always called Cheng Sam. “Sorry, may I know the name of Madam before marriage?”

Madam Kam was a bit surprised, but replied, “My girl name is Ho Ying Sia.”

Chien Wan shook her head grimly.

Kui Fang looked at her and turned his gaze to Madam Kam. “Do you know someone commonly called Little sister Lan?”

Madam Kam sighed. “Yes. Cheng Sam used to call Brother Lan to my older sister, Chui Lan.”

Kui Fang gripped Chien Wan's arm excitedly. “Kak Wan!”

Chien Wan nodded.

Swordsman Sung looked at the two young men and nodded happily. “Good! Now we know who Little Lan is. But that doesn't explain why Cheng Sam often goes to Kotaraja.”

“Shortly!” Madam Kam blanching. “You said Cheng Sam used to go to Kotaraja?”

“True.”

“Ka... Brother Lan stayed in Kotaraja after she got married,” said Madam Kam, her voice trembling slightly. “But now he is dead.”

“When did he die?” sambar Kui Fang soon.

“About ten years ago.”

“Means fit!” Kui Fang nodded.

Chien Wan focused again on Madam Kam. “What is the relationship between Cheng Sam and your sister, Madam?”

Madam Kam was stunned. “This...it's a personal matter,” eighty.

“Mrs Kam,” says Swordsman Sung is calm, “Cheng Sam has committed an unforgivable crime. Now we need a tip-off to uncover who his crime partner is. The instructions we have been getting all this time are so confusing. We need the right information. Once we know his crime partner, we'll snap him up soon.”

Madam Kam shook her head.

“Mother,” review Cin Hu, “Cheng Sam is a big villain! It's true he's a former member of our college. But we should not protect his crimes. Just tell me what happened in the past!”

“But...”.

“Not Cheng Sam I protect, but the late Brother Lan!” sergeant Madam Kam finally.

Chief Kam shook his head. He touched his wife's arm and looked at her meaningfully. “Already, My Wife. Your brother is dead and now the martial world needs our help to subdue Cheng Sam. There's no point in us protecting your dead brother.”

“Yah..,” sigh Mrs Kam resigned.

“Cheng Sam was in a relationship with my brother-in-law,” said Chairman Kam. “Their relationship is very close and somewhat embarrassing if remembered. They don't heed manners. And...” Chief Kam shook his head. His face is a bit red.

Swordsman Sung frowned, while Chien Wan and Kui Fang were also somewhat clueless. “They love each other, so what's wrong.?” ask Pendekar Sung.

“The problem is, they don't just love each other. They have broken our rules. They. do conjugal relations without ties. And they got along freely among the black youth. They get intimate with anyone. Change partners freely. It was very embarrassing and smudged the face of our college,” explained Chairman Kam.

That explanation made their faces all crimson, especially the youths who were inexperienced in the matter.

“My brother did so because he was influenced by Cheng Sam. For a long time he was sorry and ashamed. He asked Cheng Sam to marry him and stop such association, but Cheng Sam refused. Finally my brother left her and accepted when my late father betrothed her to a young man from Kotaraja,” continued Mrs Kam. His face turned grim. “But at the wedding, Cheng Sam came and screwed up. He was going to take my brother away. There's commotion. Finally my father got angry and kicked Cheng Sam out of college.”

“It turns out Cheng Sam often visits your sister. Expulsion against him is useless,” muttered Pendekar Sung.

Madam Kam closed her face. “Yes God! Unexpectedly I finally revealed the disgrace of family to others!” his weakness.

Kui Fang looked on pity.

“Now you all know the disgrace of our college. But what does that have to do with the problems you're facing right now?” ask Cin Hu to Chien Wan.

“We are investigating whether Cheng Sam has a son or nephew that he can use to kill people,” Chien Wan replied calmly. “Before long there was someone disguised as me to kill my own uncle and aunt.”

“Oh?” exclaim Chief Kam.

“You heard of the disaster at Wisma Bambu?” ask Pendekar Sung.

“We heard the event,” nods Chairman Kam.

“So you're Flute of Death!” exclaim Cin Hu excited. His eyes widened with admiration for Chien Wan. “I didn't suspect that you were him. I should have known, watching you fight like that with your flute on the battle earlier!” girang said.

Chairman Kam and his wife were also shocked to hear that.

The flabbergasted warrior. “It turns out you're the Death Flute from the Valley of Tones! I didn't expect. All this time I didn't know who I was dealing with!”

Chien Wan shook her head. “It doesn't matter,” murmured.

Kui Fang smilingly looked at the young man who looked embarrassed. He knew very well Chien Wan did not like when his nickname was mentioned, especially until praised like that.

Chief Kam stood up and saluted. “Hopefully our description can help a little to uncover the problems you face,” he said sincerely.

Chien Wan stood up and saluted back. “Thank you very much, Kam.” Head

“You are the one who should thank you. Thanks to the help of all of you, we were able to break free from the clutches of Cheng Sam. And thanks to your help, my daughter can survive the humiliation.” Chief Kam looked at his daughter who was now looking down with a reddened face.

Chien Wan sighed. Ting Ting's face flashed in his mind, making his chest claustrophobic by regrets. That humiliation should not have happened to Ting Ting either.

Kui Fang glanced at him sadly.

Shortly after, Chien Wan and Kui Fang bid farewell to leave the Red Eagle College. They were going to the Bamboo House. Chien Wan felt it was time to go back and see his best friend. He wanted to comfort Sen Khang and do what he could as a friend and cousin.

Swordsman Sung and his entourage returned to Lok Yang City.
