Chien Wan is getting closer to the Bamboo Guesthouse. He slowed down for a moment as he felt very tired. He stopped running and looked around.
The situation there is quiet. He was not too surprised because the atmosphere in the Bamboo Forest was always quiet. Strangely, however, this moment was too quiet. Even the sound of the wind hitting the trees was barely audible.
Chien Wan's forehead wrinkled.
He stepped again.
Something appeared before him and he widened in surprise. Unaware he started running.
Within a few meters in front of him, a figure was lying on the ground. He got closer to the figure and how devastated he was to know that the figure was none other than Sung Cen!
Chien Wan jumped up to him. His feeling was shattered seeing the man lying covered in blood. He knelt down to check on Sung Cen's condition. The conditions are so awful. All over Sung Cen's body were the wounds of the sword marks. Sung Cen's face was broken slashed, making him forced to close his eyes to suppress nausea. He also let Sung Cen's body lean into his arm.
“Uncle Sung! Uncle!” call Chien Wan over and over again. He touched the bottom of Sung Cen's nose and felt his pulse. His breathing had stopped and his pulse was no longer throbbing. But his body is still warm, a sign Sung Cen has not been killed long.
Chien Wan tightened his jaw. “Who did this? Who?” he continued to shake Sung Cen's body.
But whatever Chien Wan asked and shook him, it still did not sound legitimate because Sung Cen was already dead.
Tears flowed down Chien Wan's pale cheeks. He's very grieving.
He froze for a moment as if he could no longer move. Sung Cen is a loved one beside his own parents. In his heart, Sung Cen occupied a special place that no one could replace. His death in such a miserable manner like this really made him shaken. Anger and pain mingled in his heart.
He was about to lift Sung Cen's body when something suddenly flashed through his mind. Looking at his scar, of course Sung Cen had fought it out before he was finally killed. How could Sung Cen have died in the territory of the Bamboo Guesthouse without anyone hearing of the fight?
Don't-don't....
Chien Wan quickly put Sung Cen's body on the side of the road and immediately ran like an equivalence to the Bamboo Guesthouse.
God, don't let me be late....
Chien Wan ran very fast and finally arrived at the gate of the Bamboo Guesthouse. There was no one there and Chien Wan did not want to bother knocking on the door. He barged in and collided with someone.
Chien Wan was glued.
The person who hit him was wearing black clothes. His hand held a sword covered in blood. Her face....
Chien Wan saw himself!
Without giving Chien Wan a chance to make a move, that person immediately jumped away at an incredible speed. Chien Wan wanted to give chase, but immediately recalled the members of the Luo family. Something must have happened!
He ran in and forgot his intention to chase after the person disguised as himself. He was struck once when he saw several bodies full of blood lying before him. The blood pooled so much that Chien Wan could barely recognize the corpses. He recognized one of his clothes. And that person is Mr Luo!
“Uncle!” Chien Wan scattered and turned the body around. No matter what his own body becomes full of blood.
Mr. Luo is dead. His face was broken. His pair of eyes bought and his mouth gaped, a sign that he died in shock. A sword pierced through his chest right towards the heart. From there flowed blood that flooded his body.
Chien Wan could not hold back her tears. He even started crying. It shook Mr. Luo's body, as if that way Mister Luo would come back to life. He saw the sword that was still piercing his chest. With all hope, the sword was lifted.
But it's free. Master Luo did not move in the slightest. Chien Wan grasped the sword tightly. And he remembered.
“Aibi...” Instantly he was tense. “Where's Aunty?”
He put Mr. Luo back on the ground, and darted into the main hall. In a state of confusion, he forgot that the murderous sword was still in his hands.
Things are much worse there. Everyone there was covered in blood. The whole room was crumbling and crumbling. Madam Luo lay in the middle of the room in a similar condition to her husband; pierced in the heart, only in her chest there was no sword.
“Aibi! Auntie!” he shook his aunt.
He looks around. His body was shaking violently. And he could not resist the destruction of his heart. He roars.
“Aaaaaa!!!”
***
Sen Khang, Ouwyang Ping, and Kui Fang were already not far from the Bamboo Guesthouse. They walked non-stop because they wanted to catch up with Chien Wan. But of course because they are in a state of fatigue, the trip can not be done as fast as they want.
Closer to the Bamboo Forest, Sen Khang's feelings were suddenly uneasy. He hastened his steps.
It was dark by then. By the time autumn comes, time is getting dark very quickly. According to the clock, the sun should still be shining. The moon began to show itself.
Upon entering the Bamboo Forest, Sen Khang's feelings grew even more uneasy. His heart is tight. It is accelerating the pace. The two girls who were with him were astonished, but they did not ask anything. They just followed the young man's steps.
While crossing the path inside the Bamboo Forest, not far from the Bamboo Guesthouse, suddenly Kui Fang let out a scream.
“Aaa!”
Sen Khang and Ouwyang Ping stopped walking and were immediately on alert.
“What's up, Kui Fang?” ask Ouwyang Ping.
“It! There's a body in there!” show me Kui Fang. His hands extended out toward the edge of the road, revealing a dead body of a man lying long and covered in wounds.
Sen Khang and Ouwyang Ping were shocked to recognize the corpse, they ran and rushed over.
Sen Khang immediately knelt down and shook the stiffened corpse.
“Uncle! Uncle Sung!” panicked shouting.
Ouwyang Ping gaped and grasped the hilt tightly.
Kui Fang came closer. “Who is it?” tanyanya fear.
Sen Khang stood up with a pale face. “What is this?”
“We'll be going to the parent house soon!” bring Ouwyang Ping.
The three of them ran away without wasting any more time. But not far away running, they hit someone.
“Meng Huan!”
Sen Khang tightly blocked Meng Huan's arm.
Meng Huan blinked her eyes and immediately exclaimed, “Oh, Sen Khang! Thank goodness you came!” yells.
Meng Huan's condition was extremely miserable. His face was stained with blood. His body was also full of blood. His arms and legs were slashed by the sword. On his shoulder was a sword puncture wound that continued to shed wounds.
“What's up? What happened?” exclaimed Sen Khang while shaking Meng Huan's arm.
“Wis... Wisma Bamboo attacked..!”
“Cheng Sam-kah?” shouts Sen Khang wrathfully.
“Who is Cheng Sam?” Meng Huan asked back. He shook strongly. Then he looked to the side and boughtak sharply staring at Ouwyang Ping. “Not! Chien Wan did it!”
“What?” ouwyang Ping cried in shock.
“Cannot be!” also called Kui Fang.
Sen Khang jerked Meng Huan's arm furiously. “Do not joke!”
Meng Huan nodded. “I'm not lying! Teacher and Aunt too..”.
“Father and mom?” cut Sen Khang fast. He let go of his check and started running towards the Bamboo Guesthouse without caring about his friends anymore.
Getting closer, they felt the strong smell of blood.
Sen Khang's heart was beating fast. He was increasingly unable to control himself. He rushed in through the open gate. And fixated.
Ouwyang Ping and Kui Fang entered and they were riveted.
Sen Khang's body started to tremble violently. His heart stopped beating. His body felt cold and numb. For a moment, he seemed to be unable to see anything, unable to hear anything. His whole senses are dead. The sight before him was never imagined to be seen.
The front garden room was full of bloodied corpses. But what he saw first was of course his father's corpse.
Master Luo's face looked curious. His eyes were wide open and his mouth was open.
“Ayaaaaahh!” raung Sen Khang hard while hitting his father's body. Shaken by the stiff body with all his might. “Wake, Dad! Wake up! You can't die!” she screamed with tears. But of course his father who had become a corpse did not budge.
Ouwyang Ping and Kui Fang were glued to where they stood. Their hearts are pierced. Their stomachs were nauseous because they were not used to seeing corpses and that much blood, almost all of their stomach contents came out. As much as they can withstand the nausea feeling.
Meng Huan interrupted them and approached her teacher's body. He was crying bitterly.
Sen Khang sobbed. His mind was hit once. He has no power to hold himself. “Who... who has done this heinous thing...?!” snarl. His teeth were grinding while his jaw tightened.
“Chien Wan attacked us...”.
Not yet finished Meng Huan spoke, Sen Khang stood up.
Ouwyang ping could not take it anymore. He approached with tears. “Sister Luo...”.
Sen Khang did not hear it at all. He was busy drowning in his own pain. His shivering shoulders held back the sadness and anger. If only he had not been a man and had not been educated to be strong since he was a child, he would have fainted. This pain had completely struck his soul.
“Sen Khang!”
Meng Huan's call was not heard either. He closed his eyes, unable to stop the rushing tears. He tried to harden his heart. He rubbed his face rough. He bent down to wipe his father's face so that his eyes and open mouth were closed.
“Dad... anyone who does this.. I will not let go..” grumbled Sen Khang. “I will avenge you. Rest in peace.”
“Sen Khang, your mother..”.
Sen Khang flinched. Right too. Where's his mother?
Without saying a word, he entered into the main hall.
Breath restrained.
The whole room is in ruins. But he did not care about the damage to the room or the corpses of servants who were lying in the room. All he saw was Chien Wan kneeling in the middle of the room with Madam Luo's body in her lap. The murderous sword was still in his hands because he had no time to release it. The blood that covered the sword had dried up.
Chien Wan was silent. Her eyes did not blink looking at Madam Luo's face. Madam Luo's blood had dried up, as well as the blood that soaked Chien Wan's clothes and skin. He heard the arrival of Sen Khang and his friends, but his body could not move. He was too busy lamenting his grief.
Sen Khang was trembling. He did not believe the slightest bit of Meng Huan's words earlier. He thought Meng Huan must have been just misunderstood and misunderstood, or some other plausible explanation. It was unexpected that he saw that unbelievable thing with his own eyes!
Ouwyang Ping and Kui Fang entered followed by Meng Huan.
“Kak Wan!” exclaim Ouwyang Ping in disbelief.
Chien Wan flinched and looked up. The face of Ouwyang Ping. He looked at that pale face. She found a look of disdain in her beautiful pair of eyes. And he knew they must have thought it was him who had committed this abomination.
“Au—“
But his words did not continue because he saw a fierce anger on Sen Khang. A deep and unavoidable hatred.
