Death Flute

Death Flute
Ouwyang Kuan and Luo Sui She to the Bamboo Guesthouse

Wu Kui Fang was in the courtyard of Peacock Hill with Mr. Chang, Sam Hui, and Pendekar Sung. He was listening to their talk about the problems they were facing right now. Carefully, he listened to their plan to clear Chien Wan's good name.

“What three Uncle sure this can run?” ask Kui Fang worriedly.

“Could definitely!” sahut Mr. Chang is excited. “I'm an expert in problems like this.”

“But, what if things get worse after our actions?”

Sam Hui patted his nonanya arm. “Do not worry, Miss. This plan is risky. But if we all work together and arrange it as neat as possible, this plan will work,” entertain him.

Swordsman Sung adds, “Ya, Kui Fang. You don't worry.”

Kui Fang let out a long breath.

Fei Yu came with Ouwyang Ping. “See who's with me!” exclaims jolly.

They all looked on with caution.

Kui Fang immediately stood up. “Ping-er!”

Mr. Chang—who has never seen Ouwyang Ping—looks at the beautiful girl with great interest.

Swordsman Sung smiled welcoming the girl. “Nona Ouwyang, long time no see.”

Ouwyang Ping saluted. “How are you, Swordsman Sung?”

“Call me Uncle,” Pendekar Sung is friendly.

Fei Yu introduced Ouwyang Ping to his father.

Kui Fang was fixated while watching the girl. He knew that in the past Ouwyang Ping also doubted the honesty of Chien Wan. What the hell's going on? Could it be that Ouwyang Ping had already realized that his conjecture used to be wrong, that Chien Wan could not possibly do such a thing?

Presumably Ouwyang Ping was aware of Kui Fang's tension. He looked at Kui Fang with sad eyes. The girl's trust in Chien Wan was huge. His belief in Chien Wan defeated anyone. Even he himself felt doubtful about the cleanliness of his brother, even though he already knew Chien Wan well.

“Kui Fang.”

“You already believe?” ask Kui Fang without further ado.

Ouwyang Ping sighed. “I... I would love to believe that Sister Wan is innocent. But... Ting Ting's time is lying?” tanyanya sad.

Kui Fang sighed. “Good. You deserve to suspect it. But listen to this explanation. Sister Wan told me about it when I was with her shortly after we left Wisma Bambu.”

Ouwyang Ping was wide-eyed listening to Kui Fang's story of a man disguised as Chien Wan, who came across Chien Wan just as Chien Wan was about to enter the Bamboo Guesthouse. His face was red. If he didn't know Chien Wan, maybe he'd consider the story a joke. But Chien Wan never lies.

“Me... why didn't he say anything back then?” stuttered.

“Where can?” sergeant Kui Fang is upset. “Sister Luo beat him up and didn't let him explain a word!”

Ouwyang Ping bit his lips with a poignant heart.

Swordsman Sung watched the two girls and calmed them down. “However rice has become porridge. The past cannot be changed anymore. Now all we have to do is try to clear Chien Wan's good name. Once Chien Wan's good name was cleared again, all the warriors would not chase after him. Then we'll all start looking for the real culprit.”

“Betul!” fei Yu's nod. He looked at Ouwyang Ping. “We are planning something to open Sen Khang's mind. Do you want to help us carry out this plan?”

Ouwyang Ping closed his eyes to expel the guilt in his heart. Then he opened his eyes again and looked at them all hard. “Ya, I'm ready.”

News about Wisma Bambu has already become a byword among warriors. They all felt obliged to ease the suffering of the remaining members of the Bamboo House— in this case Luo Sen Khang, Luo Ting Ting, and Chi Meng Huan. All this time they tried to catch the culprit— whom they thought was Chien Wan, but never succeeded. The young man always managed to escape thanks to his cleverness blowing tones that could break their concentration.

They no longer knew how to do something to ease the burden on the three young people. So when word got out of the 40th anniversary of Mr and Mrs Luo's death, they planned to go there to say their deepest condolences.

This news was also heard by Ouwyang Kuan and his family.

“We have to go there, Brother Kuan!” sui She said firmly.

Ouwyang Kuan hesitated. Because even though they are willing to accept Chien Wan's innocence, it does not mean that Sen Khang and all the warriors will accept it. Even he was worried in his anger Sen Khang would forget themselves and forget their family relationship. It is not impossible that Sen Khang will avenge him by harming them.

“Kakak Kuan! I have to go there!” sui She. “When I was sick, they took care of me. I haven't been able to return the favor, they're gone. At least let me pay their last respects!”

“Sui She, the problem..”.

“I know!” cut Sui She sobbing. “Sen Khang and Ting Ting must not accept me. They'll hate me so much for thinking my son is guilty. But Chien Wan is innocent. After I explain, they must understand.”

“It's not that easy, Sui She,” buzz Ouwyang Kuan.

“I want to go!”

Ouwyang Kuan did not know how to advise his wife. He desperately prevented Sui She's intentions.

“We can keep ourselves,” Sui She said again. This time crying. “I won't do anything rash like trying to convince them that Chien Wan is innocent. But either way, we have to go!”

Ouwyang Kuan finally gave up. “All right we go!”

Sui She sobbed in relief.

“But just the two of us. A Lee can't come, let alone Chien Wan. We also do not attract the attention of people.”

“Ya, yes! It's up to you!” the nod to Sui She was strong.

Mr. Ouwyang Cu heard their intentions and did not prevent it at all. He agrees to babysit A Lee as long as the couple is gone. Siu Hung would accompany her anyway, let that kid take care of A Lee!

After saying goodbye to Mr. Ouwyang, the couple left. They left just the two of them. They wanted to show that their arrival was intending to worship the spirits of Master and Lady Luo.

Mr. Ouwyang was watching over A Lee who was being cared for by Siu Hung.

Since coming to Nada Valley a few days ago, Siu Hung was very sticky with A Lee. They always played together in the vast valley. Just the two of you. Siu Hung knew the mood of the two parents and Chien Wan was in a mess. They don't have time to babysit A Lee. So it was Siu Hung who took over A Lee's care.

Seeing Siu Hung just playfully, Mr. Ouwyang nagged.

“He, Naughty Child! Instead of continuing to play around, you better practice your silatmu!” always scolding.

Siu Hung will sneer. “Basic chatty,” muttered. He approached with laziness. Siu Hung really likes silat. He has good bones and an incredible talent. Unfortunately, he prefers to play than practice.

The nature of Siu Hung is well understood by Mr. Ouwyang. Sometimes Mr. Ouwyang is inexhaustible. Why is this kid so similar to him? The way the child ridicules, insinuates, and sneers, are all very similar to himself. Even until his laziness to train even though the talent he has is extraordinary. All of that is Mr. Ouwyang's own past.

Quietly, in addition to paying attention and training Siu Hung, Mr. Ouwyang also noticed Chien Wan. he noticed the anxiety of his grandson.
