Death Flute
The Butterfly Party

Almost four months already Chien Wan lives in the Butterfly Party. He was relieved to see the condition of the party was back to how it was. Thus, the members had again taken over their duties that were originally handled by Chien Wan. Then Chien Wan can do another task.

The invitation of the Press Chair for the Butterfly Party has just come, stating that the meeting of the warriors to elect a new chairman will take place in two weeks. At that moment Chief Wu was confused. Should he come or not?

Meanwhile, after months of always being together, the relationship between Chien Wan and Kui Fang was already very close and deep. Of course Chien Wan kept his distance and never touched what was not his. But their feelings were so tightly bound and inseparable.

They just found out about the invitation and talked about it alone.

“Kakak Wan, the election of the Chairman of the Press has been determined. Two more weeks. Don't you want to go there?” ask Kui Fang.

Chien Wan nodded.

“I'm coming, huh?” pinta Kui Fang was hopeful.

Chien Wan looked at her girl gently. He was eager to invite Kui Fang along, but of course had to be with his parents' permission.

“Looks like Dad's not interested in going there. Maybe I'll send someone to represent him. I will propose that I alone represent him,” continued Kui Fang excitedly.

Chien Wan smiled and nodded.

So they immediately met Kui Fang's parents.

Chief Wu and his wife were sitting together while conversing in a gazebo located in the middle of a lotus pond not far from the mother house. The atmosphere there is beautiful. The pond water is so clear that one can see the fish swimming in it through the cracks between the aquatic plants. On the surface of the water, there is a lotus leaf expanse where the flowers are currently blooming, giving off a distinctive fragrance. As in other areas of the Butterfly Party, in that place also butterflies of various colors and types fly without disturbing anyone.

“Dad, Mother.” Kui Fang approached her parents. Chien Wan followed behind him.

Chairman Wu and his wife turned their heads and smiled radiantly welcoming their daughter and future daughter-in-law.

“Uncle, Aunty,” greet Chien Wan politely.

“Sit you!” have Chairman Wu happy.

The two young men sat around a square table that his parents had occupied. Now all four sides of the table are filled.

“What's your need to find us?” smile Madam Wu. “Usually you prefer to be alone,” god.

Kui Fang blushed at her mother's temptation.

Chairman Wu chuckled seeing his daughter misbehaving and Chien Wan only smiled shyly. “Your mother's right. You're meeting us now, definitely because you want to. Yes, right?”

Kui Fang nodded wrongly. “There is something I want to ask.”

“What is it?”

“Dad already got an invitation from Uncle Sung, didn't he?”

“Betul,” nod Chairman Wu.

“Dad to go?”

Chief Wu was stunned. “That's what I'm talking about with your mother. I'm a little shy when it comes to going there. Moreover, our party has just been attacked. I'm not leaving. Maybe I'll just send someone to represent our party,” he said.

“What if I'm the one you assigned?” kui Fang's proposal was enthusiastic.

Chairman Wu was stunned. He and his wife looked at.

“Uncle, Aunty.” Chien Wan spoke up. “I'm going to Golden Chicken Hill because I promised Uncle Sung. If Uncle and Aunt assign Kui Fang there, he can go with me.”

Instantly Chairman Wu understood. It was not because he wanted to attend the meeting the reason Kui Fang wanted to represent him, but rather because he did not want to part with Chien Wan.

“Dad, I'm an adult. After all, there is Brother Wan who will protect me. You don't need to worry,” said Kui Fang.

Madam Wu looked at her husband rather anxiously. He objected if he had to part with his daughter again as before. But she also knew, Kui Fang couldn't possibly be prevented if her own husband allowed her.

“Alright,” nod Chairman Wu.

Kui Fang's face glowed hearing that.

“You can go tomorrow morning,” Chairman Wu said again.

“Alright, Uncle,” says Chien Wan.

Kui Fang immediately went to pack his clothes. His mother came to help him. However, Chien Wan was detained by Chairman Wu so as not to leave the gazebo.

“I want to talk to you for a minute, Chien Wan.”

Chien Wan stopped going to his room. “What's up, Uncle?”

Chairman Wu sighed. “Kui Fang has not had too much experience in the martial world. I want you to protect and protect him. From now on he's your responsibility.”

Chien Wan nodded with great earnestness. “Don't worry, Uncle. I'll protect him even with a life bet.”

“Good!” Chairman Wu was happy to hear that. Heart relieved. Now he can entrust his daughter to Chien Wan. He knew Chien Wan never messed with promises. To him Chien Wan's promise was already a guarantee.

Meanwhile, Kui Fang was stuffing some makeshift clothes into a thick cloth bag. His mother helped him while still being silent.

“Mother why?” Finally Kui Fang could not bear to see the look on his mother's moody face.

Madam Wu shook her head weakly. “Not what.”

“Mother is worried about my departure?”

Madam Wu sighed. “Of course!” said finally. “Which mother does not always feel worried when her only daughter leaves her? Mom's heart is always filled with anxiety when you leave.”

“Bu...” Kui Fang embraced his mother fondly. “I'll be fine. After all, the trip to the Golden Rooster Hill was not for war. We just want to attend a meeting of the warriors. There's not gonna be anything, ma'am. Believe!”

Madam Wu sighed again. “I want to believe, but...”.

Kui Fang sighed. “I promise to take good care of myself. And Sister Wan is by my side. Does that not guarantee enough that I will be okay?”

Madam Wu did not reply. The greatness of Chien Wan's martial arts was beyond doubt. But what is the name of a mother's heart, how can it be appeased with just such a guarantee? His worries towards Kui Fang were mixed and indescribable.

Kui Fang shook his head in concern. Since the first time this mother does tend to feel anxious easily. Madam Wu always thought of the worst that could happen.

“Mother don't worry ya?” Kui Fang leaned his head against his mother's shoulder spoiled. “I'm definitely fine. It is precisely the Mother who must always maintain health. Don't think of the no-no.”

Madam Wu finally smiled. “The formula is like this if the child is an adult. Already want to get married. So can advise his mother,” grunts while flicking his daughter's nose.

Kui Fang pouted as he rubbed his nose.

“Alright,” said Mrs Wu. “Promise Mom, you have to take good care of yourself.”

“I promise, Mom.”

The next day, Chien Wan and Kui Fang said goodbye to Chairman Wu and his wife. Then they went to the Golden Rooster Hill through the village road and the forests far from the highway. They intentionally do so because they are reluctant to meet with many people.
