Mahram To Azira

Mahram To Azira
Chapters 15.1

Soon enter magrib time when they come out of the slum area. After Azira leaves from Mother's place, she has no intention of stopping by her old rented house. There was nothing there that could be seen, nothing that could be obtained when returning there except the scratches of the wounds that had been gushing down over the past few years.

Azira does not want to remember the past too much. Out of that painful place, her heart was much calmer and overwhelmed by the sweet feeling. Of course it was because of her husband. Um, her husband's sweet promise is always ringing in his head. It was as if Kenzie was talking about it right next to his ear.

"You're so red, why?" Kenzie glanced at his wife on the side.

His face was as red as a person with a fever. His forehead frowned, astonished that his wife had suddenly fallen ill. Could it be that their meeting dealt a considerable blow to Azira?

Azira was holding her heated face. Ugh, he's so embarrassed. How could she have said to her husband that his face had become red from thinking about the promise that her husband had told her. That's so embarrassing.

"Um. Yeah, it's really hot today, huh?" Azira made another excuse while pretending to fan her face.

"Hot?" Kenzie glanced at the AC of his car that was always on.

It feels cool in the car. Not hot at all.

"Oh... Next time you go out of the house with an umbrella let you not overheat." Kenzie thinks positively.

Well, maybe it's because of the heat effect outside.

Azira averted her eyes not daring to look at Kenzie.

"Yes... Maybe not necessary."

10 Minutes later they finally arrived at a traditional-style restaurant. Quite unique actually. This restaurant looks very striking compared to the dining area next to it. In the middle of this city, the appearance of this restaurant is quite interesting and unique.

"Today is a bit crowded because this branch is only the seventh day opened. My friend said the cooking here is similar to home cooking, and after trying once he said we would be addicted to it. I doubted it. How do you think?" Kenzie has no big expectations about his friend's business on this one.

Not that he underestimated his friend, but Kenzie himself was the type of person who would rather eat food cooked by the people of the house than buy food outside.

"Maybe it tastes really good, mas. You see, on the seventh day, this restaurant is still crowded and at home visited by many people." Azira is a bit excited to enter the restaurant.

In his life he had never been inside a restaurant therefore he appreciated this moment very much. Wonder what it's like in there and how the cuisine tastes in there. Ugh, he's looking forward to it.

"Don't be too optimistic. They are still crowded because the restaurant is holding a massive discount for 1 month to attract customers. It could be crowded" Kenzie fell silent when he saw the bright twinkle in Azira's eyes.

Azira may very well want to go in there.

"What did Kenzie say?"

Kenzie smiled faintly, "Do you want to eat here?" He changed his words.

Azira actually wants to eat here. But he remembers Umi, Abah, Sasa and Mona still waiting for their return home. Besides tonight the house is not ripe, so the people in the house must be starving waiting for their arrival.

"Other times, my. Inside must be a lot of people. Wait for a quieter time." Azira refused.
