Giving his best to his wife. Kenzie believed that God would repay him by keeping the integrity of his household with Azira to Jannah.
"Mas Kenzie..." Azira.
"Why-" Kenzie's remarks were cut off by Umi's impatient shout.
"When do you want to keep this up?" Shouted Umi annoyed at the behavior of the married couple.
Umi was surprised to see the couple because they could make out in a public place. Already so, the two of them seemed to forget the place because they did not pay attention to the words of the people around. Though the behavior of the two of them has been a spectacle material since. Noisy because the two of them were the subject of careful attention but the person being gossiped was completely insensitive. Out of annoyance, Umi was finally forced to shout at the two of them to immediately end their sweet morning event.
"Bag.." Azira spontaneously pressed her husband's face away.
This action immediately invited laughter from the people who had been watching them.
Azira shy. He lowered his head to hide his red face.
"Okay, it's okay. They see us because they're actually jealous of both of us." Said Kenzie indifferently not paying too much attention to those people.
Azira rolled her eyes lazily.
"Stop talking, let's go before Umi gets more angry with us." Azira pulls Kenzie's hand towards Umi.
Kenzie just pulled away by his wife. His dark black eyes glanced at the hands of the two of them, smiling, tightening their hands together to never let go.
...*****...
In the end Kenzie still needs Abah and Umi's guidance when cooking rendang. He did not allow the two of them to work but asked for instructions from both of them. For the sake of satisfying his wife's cravings today Kenzie worked hard to forget the time working in the kitchen.
Azira laughs at the cuteness of her husband while working in the kitchen. But for a long time she felt sorry because her husband worked so hard. Stubborn, her husband wants to do everything alone.
Azira has asked him to stop working because he does not want to eat rendang anymore. But Kenzie won't listen because he knows Azira is lying.
Nervously, Kenzie served warm rendang and white rice to his wife at the dinner table. There was no one but the two of them in the dining room because Abah and Umi were hanging out in the front yard while feeding the fish.
"Hum.." Azira inhaled the fragrance of her husband's cooking, the taste was good and there was no suspicious smell.
"How's it?" Kenzie asked nervously.
Azira nodded small.
"Scent, it's no different from the rendang that Umi made." Azira said in praise.
Kenzie smiled proudly.
"Yes dong, I'm a descendant of Umi."
Azira shook her head. Take out a fork and bring the soft piece of meat into his mouth.
"Hows it? Yummy?" Kenzie.
Azira is still chewing. Initially fine but long-chewed Azira realized that it tasted different from the rendang she had once eaten. Not bad, it can still be eaten instead, but rather far from the taste of rendang.
"Don't, but it feels a little different than I know." Azira.
Kenzie's heart was not calm.
"really?" He took Azira's fork and stuffed a piece of tender meat into his mouth.
After eating it, he knew what his wife meant.
