Mahram To Azira

Mahram To Azira
Chapters 26.1

Coming home from Mona's bookstore changed her plans immediately. He did not go straight to Abah's house but went straight home to change clothes and look at the sociology of law. He could not wait to do his job as soon as possible. Oh, maybe rather he couldn't wait to secure the book. Fearing that the book was abrasive or even gone, all sorts of negative thoughts began to move wildly within his head. Just understand. This book has to do with Al. And everything related to this man will never miss Mona, as much as possible.

"Lho, Mona didn't go straight to Abah's house?" On the front page of the house where I met my mother.

Mama again cleaned her flower plants while checking the growth of the fruit seedlings that Mama took from the other day.

Mona smiled brightly.

"Yes, ma. Mona has a task from campus so go straight back home so Mona immediately fussed. Go to your house later after Mona's job is done." Mona is in a good mood.

He kissed her right cheek and ran straight into the house. There's no one at home. Mona doesn't know where Mona's father is going at all no matter where her foster sister goes. Since she was in a good mood, Mona did not bother with the existence of the people of the house.

The sound of her footsteps climbing the stairs. Go into the room and close the door. Then he hurriedly took out the book from inside his bag. Holding the book that Al had just held, Mona's hand grabbed him in a nostalgic feeling. He held the book up high against the backdrop of sunlight peering out from behind the window of his room.

"Beautiful.." whispered Mona to whom.

Satisfied to see it, he kissed the book many times before hugging it tightly and dropping himself on top. Immersed in silence, Mona breathes hard the distinctive smell of a new book emanating from the book in her arms. Sniffing, he hoped to find the handprints left behind by the owner of the big hand.

"Perhaps, men don't like lotion!" His whisper was funny while giggling indistinctly.

"Do I have to do my job now?" On the sidelines of imagining, he suddenly remembered his task.

Though earlier he had planned to immediately complete his task today also after getting this book. But as soon as he got home he felt that it was okay not to do his job now that he still had plenty of time.

"There's still plenty of time... Tomorrow is it." Said trifling.

"Keep what should I do now?" He started to think.

Smile silly, "Just sleep!"

Habits of the lie. Usually this hour is the most pleasant time to fall or sleep. Mona often does it especially if you have a meeting with her strange cousin, they can spend all day just to fall on the bed.

Sure enough, it wasn't until half an hour before Mona fell asleep entering the dream world with the book in her arms. Maybe because it's been a long time not talking this close to the person she likes makes Mona's heart a bit messed up. One side he felt very happy, and on the other side he was very tormented because after this meeting maybe he had more difficulty forgetting the man.

Yana takes a walk around the housing complex along with her other cousins. At first he did not want to leave, but his mother forced him to recognize this neighborhood and get acquainted with some neighbors. It was under my mother's orders, and Yana finally relented. He invited some of his well-connected cousins to tour the compound and had them introduce him to some neighbors.

"Lha, is that Sasa?" One of the cousins pointed forward.

Yana and the others followed in the direction her index finger pointed.

Up ahead they saw Sasa talking to a handsome man who had a tall body and a charming appearance. The man's face looked flat as he spoke to Sasa. He did not look interested but forcefully served Sasa a talk.

"Woah, that's not the widower lecturer that people talk about a lot?" Another cousin spoke up.

"Lecturer widower?" Yana's eyes flickered faintly looking at Al's impeccable handsome face.

"Yes, his name is not wrong Al. He is the lecturer where your brother studied. Sasa said, this lecturer taught in his class and Mona. But she recently moved to this complex and is often the talk of under-employed mothers here." Another cousin explained.

Yana's interested,"he just moved here?"

"Yes, maybe a week ago. Heard he had just divorced his wife and his current status as a widower. Checks, because of her, lonely widows and single women come into action. If you notice, one or two women often go back and forth in front of Mr. Al's house." The cousin spoke a lot while pointing several women back and forth around Al's house.

Once you see people instantly know that these women are aiming to attract the attention of Al. Too bad, Al is currently talking to Sasa. I don't know what they're talking about but the women are obviously not happy because Sasa monopolizes Al's attention.

"Whose name was that?" Yana asked casually.

"Name Al."

He nodded his head understanding.

Squinting her eyes, "then what is Sasa's relationship with her?" It doesn't seem as simple as between a lecturer and a student.

From Sasa's behavior, he concludes that Sasa is interested in Al. But seeing Al's attitude that seemed indifferent and uninterested, Yana dared to conclude that it was possible... Al not interested in Sasa?

"Well... He went inside the house. We haven't finished seeing it."

After chatting for a while with Sasa, Al said goodbye to enter the house while Sasa was silent at the place watching Al enter the house. It was only after Al was not seen again that he turned away with a book in his arms.

"Sasa!" Call Yana while waving her hand.

She smiled sweetly at Sasa. Supposedly according to seniority he should call Sasa sister, but Sasa did not want to be called sister, because he felt the same age as Yana.

"Oh my God, what are you doing here?" Sasa's face flushed in embarrassment.

He guessed that Yana and the others must have seen him earlier with Al.

A cousin joked, "we just peeked you're dating that widower!"

As they expected, Sasa's face instantly flushed brightly like a boiled crab. She was misbehaving and looked shy of the cat.

"Omong empty what are you talking about! No one is dating!" Denying Sasa wrong behavior.

Yana was curious too.

Sasa smiled shyly.

"I took the book from Mr. Al. Coincidentally this afternoon I bought this book the same Mr. Al because I was looking around in the library had borrowed all the others. Fortunately Mr. Al found this book in the bookstore so my college assignment was safe." Sasa explained.

This morning he went to college to look for a law sociology book in the library. But he was already too late because all the books had been borrowed by others. Fortunately he heard Al talk with a lecturer that after he finished teaching later he would go to the bookstore. Hearing that Sasa felt there was a chance.

He waited for an opportunity to talk to Al. After a long wait, he finally had a chance. At first he wanted to go to the bookstore with Al, but Al did not want to for fear of slander. So with a heavy heart Sasa can only ask Al to help find a book of sociology of law by lecturer X. Before Al agreed, he had asked a question that are all students obliged to have this book?

Sasa answered yes.

Then he asked again, do all the students have this book?

The answer is mostly not because this book is hard to find.

After that Al did not ask again and said that he would try to help her search for this book in the bookstore.

Although somewhat regrettable because he could not come but his heart was quite satisfied Al was still willing to help him.

"Oh my God, we think you're doing nothing to him." They laughed deliberately at Sasa.

Sasa did not want to linger here anymore. He wants to go home and show off in front of Mona. Let his cousin know that no one dreams as long as he tries to catch up with Al.

Hem, I don't know what kind of expression Mona will have when I see this book! He must be jealous hahaha... Her mind can't wait to show off this book in front of Mona later.

"Don't talk weird, later if anyone hears it is considered right again. Ah, I want to go home first. You guys wanna come with me?" Fresh Sasa to his cousins.

"When, today we want to go around the complex Yana Temenin so that she can get to know her surroundings and get acquainted with some neighbors."

Sasa understood. Understandably, Yana has only returned after a hyacinth of nearly 6 years in the boarding school. He definitely did not remember this housing complex too clearly. In the past, if you came back here during holidays, Yana rarely went out of the house. She is usually a shy princess in the house. So naturally he needs an introduction to look around this housing complex because after this he will settle down.

"Oh, okay. I'll go home, Dad. Assalamualaikum." Greetings to all of them.

"Getishalight." They replied while watching Sasa's back getting further away from their sight.

"Yes, let's go again." Said one of the cousins.

Yana nodded kalem.

"Where do you want to go?"

Yana glanced at the house that Al had just entered.

"Just straight. I want to know the situation of the house ahead." Answer Yana.

"Thankfully you want to go there. There are those who sell ice cream, we can buy it later when it passes."

...*****...

At night in the dining room. Mona has dinner with her parents and Yana. Throughout the dinner mom and dad talked about some recently viral news. Yana will occasionally digress and express her opinion about the news.

"By the way tomorrow you want to test on campus, right? How's preparations?" Mom switched the subject.

Mona listened to their conversation. He also knew that new student enrollment had opened this year. And from a few days ago the campus began to be rather crowded visited by prospective new students who were doing evaluation tests. Coincidentally tomorrow Yana will do a test as well. Know but don't talk much.

"Yes, ma. Alhamdulillah, Yana has learned as much as possible and the rest Yana leave to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala." Reply Yana positively with a gentle voice as well as politely.

Mama was satisfied. Indeed, every time he visited his daughter's room he always found out if Yana was studying or reading textbooks related to medical knowledge. All the books were given by Ayana to help Yana understand the tests that will be given by the campus.

Yana is very grateful and makes the best use of her time to read the books.

"Don't push yourself too hard. God willing, Hannah's efforts must not have been in vain. Mama is sure Yana will catch up with Ayana's sister and become an accomplished doctor."

Yana continued to nod her head while looking at the other person.

"With the prayers and blessings of mom and dad, Yana is confident that Yana will graduate." Yana said convincingly.

"Okay, Mama also believes. By the way, who are you going to be tomorrow?"

Yana immediately replied, "tomorrow Yana to the same campus father, ma. Mama take it easy, Yana must be safe and okay with you."

Mama added food to Yana's plate.

"Okay, now eat as much as you can tomorrow add to the spirit of the test." Said Mama.

Mona sees every meal that moves to her foster sister's plate. He pouted, retracted his gaze and refocused on spending the food on his own plate.

A few minutes later, he finally finished his meal. Honestly, he's still hungry. But when looking at her parents' interaction with her foster sister, Mona feels that she should not be here. Rather than moody continue, he better go to Abah's house to find extra food. Usually Azira often provides fried stock in the refrigerator. Mona is addicted to eating fried rice mixed with rice, it does not taste better at home.

"Mona's done." Mona wakes up intending to leave.

Mom hurried to stop him.

"Mona, Mama is asking you for help. Mona's dishes are washing tonight, huh? Yana can't work first because tomorrow she has a test so after finishing dinner Yana must go back to her room to continue studying. Mama asked for a favor, yeah, Mona." These few days Yana often helps in the kitchen whether it is helping with cooking or helping to clean the kitchen.
