Because of being too angry Umi release emotions. Hearing his son echo the words of responsibility before him, he wondered if this sense of responsibility also existed for the victims who suffered the most from this marriage. Humairah, heartbroken and disappointed by a broken marriage, fell ill and still has not recovered to this day. Every night before bed his head kept turning to think about how the state of Humairah was and whether he was okay after the events of the day.
"From the beginning...Umi already knew that I really didn't care." Kenzie uttered this one sentence with a heavy breath.
Umi was immediately stunned to hear it. For a moment he didn't know what to say. But his old eyes could not cover how disappointed he was when he heard Kenzie's reply. She thought that her son had received Humairah and also began to cultivate feelings towards her. But hearing Kenzie's answer now, Umi became embarrassed and angry because she felt lied to.
"Astagfirulah... Do you know if Humairah is still sick to this day? He still can't get out of bed because he thinks about you."
Kenzie turned his eyes looking the other way. His steadfast attitude was not at all shaken even though he heard that Humairah had not recovered to this day.
"I'll help her ask for leave tomorrow, Umi can be sure the hospital won't reprimand her." Kenzie disappointed Umi.
Umi hopes that Kenzie will ask how the news of Humairah or at least intend to go to see him to relieve the mood of Humairah who is still cornered gray. There may be a speck of guilt in Kenzie's heart that will potentially repair the relationship that Azira had broken. But he hoped too much because of the fact that Kenzi had an indifferent attitude towards the state of Humanity.
"Excession! Can you have a cold attitude towards the woman who has loved you sincerely? Umi doesn't understand, where did you learn-"
"Ohuk.." Abah's cough stopped Umi's voice.
"Umi please get me the medicine in the room." Abah's orders to Umi.
Umi did not argue and immediately left without hesitation into the room. As he passed by Kenzie, his face looked extremely ugly. He intends to inhabit Kenzie until his son is fully aware of what he has done wrong. As long as Kenzie didn't realize it, he would continue to ignore.
As soon as Umi goes into the room, Abah sees Kenzie and Sasa who are still standing on the spot. Sasa looks bad to see Umi's departure in a state of anger but he also does not dare to open his mouth in front of his brother. Especially after seeing her brother's flat face now, her courage instantly evaporated out of nowhere.
"Don't worry about your Umi, I'll take care of it. You better get out of here so you can get back home sooner." Abah said on the sidelines coughing.
Hearing the word Abah, it means that he will also go to follow Kenzie and Azira shopping. Actually Sasa was unwilling but in front of Abah and Kenzie's cold face, he did not dare to make a sound.
"Thank you, Abah." Then Kenzie leaves without greeting Sasa and immediately goes up to the 2nd floor to take Azira away.
"I'll wait in front!" Shouted Sasa while looking at her brother's back further away.
But Kenzie did not look or stop. He continued walking as if he had heard nothing. Making Sasa feel embarrassed and irritated at the same time.
