Mahram To Azira

Mahram To Azira
Chapters 7.4

As Abah said, he doesn't care if Azira lives a bad or good life out there because it all can't deny that Azira is the child that the woman was born with.

"It's..." Mama saw Safa's father and aunt. Her lips shook withstanding the pain in her heart.

If Kenzie can't remarry his daughter. Then Humairah must be destroyed. His daughter loved Kenzie so much that she was carried away with her dreams while she was sick. He has promised to bring Kenzie back. But with Abah's words, nothing is possible.

"Have you thought about it?" Ask Dad to be embarrassed.

He was very embarrassed to hear what Abah said. A blatant rejection from Abah that all this time you never take it seriously. Only his ex-wife is appreciated by Abah. He thought the village woman did not enter his eyes. And he always thought that Abah valued this relationship so much that he accepted Humairah as his future son-in-law. But the fact is, it was just his feelings.

"You don't have to ask. My decision is final." Abah replied with a firm and confident voice.

Mama couldn't take it. He switched to talking to Umi. I hope Umi can understand her feelings.

"Sister, we've been friends for a long time and sister saw for herself how big Humairah is. He loves Kenzie. When she fell ill yesterday, she always mentioned Kenzie's name in her sleep. He'll be ruined if Kenzie doesn't come back to him. Please consider again, brother. Consider our daughter and consider the children's future." Please Mama to Umi.

Umi felt bad about Mama's request. She also has an affection for Humairah, perhaps she already considers Humairah as her daughter as well. But his heart was so hard to accept the fact that he knew he had deceived them. She pityes Humairah, but pity Azira who was abandoned by Father and her position as Kenzie's rightful wife-to-be was replaced by Humairah. Unimaginable how hurt Azira saw the cruelty of his father.

"Change right. It is the way of God that Kenzie and Azira return together according to Abah's expectations. I will not comment on this matter anymore because the truth has been revealed. I can only say that take good care of Humairah and explain this matter as it is. Don't hide the fact that he's not Kenzie's real fiancee. But tell me honestly that Azira is Kenzie's real fiance. So that he can take it and let Kenzie go." With a heavy heart Umi said this to Mama. In another sense he will not support Humairah or come close to urging Kenzie to divorce Azira. He's out of hand.

"Sister..sister.... How did this happen?! What about my son? My son is the one who is tormented here. He's your victim!" Stirred with emotion, Mama couldn't hold back her anger anymore. He speaks loudly to Umi and Abah, demanding justice for his poor daughter.

But his behavior made Dad very embarrassed. He pulled his wife's hand so as not to do anything stupid again. But Mama doesn't care about my worries. For him right now is getting justice for the Humairah. The only princess he had carefully raised. He is sick and sad to see his poor daughter constantly begging to be reunited with Kenzie. How could he let his daughter get hurt?

It'll never happen!

He will seek as much justice as possible for his daughter!

"Victim? If you want justice, sue your husband. He was the culprit who pushed your daughter into becoming a victim in this matter. And as Azira's in-law, I also want to hold your husband accountable. He abandoned our daughter-in-law and deceived us with another child. Will your husband be able to compensate you for this?" Abah demanded back without changing the flat expression on her face.

Hearing Abah's demands, he knew that Humairah would get nothing here. It's Dad's fault, but what should he do when his own daughter loves Kenzie?

"Already, madam. Let's go home. We won't get anything here even if we beg." Aunt Safa pulled Mama up.

After hearing the conversation today she knew that this was her brother's fault. No matter how hard they speak and blame Azira, Father's position will never be justified. Because if it wasn't Dad who started it then things wouldn't have gotten this way.

"I can't go home... Humairah wants to see Kenzie.." Mama started crying.

Dad shook his head helplessly. He even embarrassedly raised his face to look at Abah and Umi. His guilt was displayed easily by them, and foolishly again he could not make any defense to defend himself. He felt embarrassed and annoyed at the same time. If he could he wanted to leave this place immediately and would never come here again.

"Go home. Humairah's waiting for us at home." Dad pulled Mama and helped her up.

"Sister, we'll go home first. Next time if there's time, we'll come visit again." Said Dad on pleasantries.

After today's incident he will never set foot again into this house.

Abah nodded his head.

"of course. Our doors will always be wide open for you." Abah said without changing the expression on her face.

Who knows if they will actually come again in the future or not.

Umi closes the door of the house after the Humairah family car disappears from her sight. He turned around and walked back to the living room. There her husband was still sitting with a cup of warm tea in hand. Noticing the quiet look on her husband's face, Umi hesitantly sat down beside Abah. He tilted his seat until he faced Abah.

Abah knows Umi's anxiety, but he remains silent and waits for his wife to speak directly.

"Why didn't Abah tell me this? If I had known Azira was the daughter of that woman, I would not have done evil to her. It's like this now, I'm ashamed to meet him. She's the daughter of the woman who sacrificed herself to save Abah, I shouldn't have been bad to her." Umi complains to Abah for hiding such an important matter.

If Abah had said this matter from the beginning, he would never have behaved badly to Azira.

"Umi, relax. I just discovered this matter last night after talking to Azira. I suspected that Azira was the son of the village woman so I did an investigation and got the results last night. I didn't have time to talk to you about it because I wanted to wait for you to be calmer. But what I didn't expect was that you would let them come to our house."
