Mahram To Azira

Mahram To Azira
Chapters 18.1

Azira was stunned to see the guest. In the blink of an eye the smile that had frozen earlier immediately drew a further line. Smiling broadly to greet the guest who had long been thrown from his mind.

"Humairah, long time no see. Seeing how you are now, I finally know that you've been fine all along." Azira said kindly but did not get away from the door.

She intended to block Humairah from going inside because this was her husband's office. How willing she was to see this woman enter the private territory of her husband, Azira was not a foolish woman.

"Azzira.." Humairah called Azira's name with rustling teeth.

God knows how sick and angry his heart is now when he comes face to face with Azira. The pain cannot be expressed in words. He was angry and even more disappointed at the woman who used to be considered a brother. Stupid again ever hope if this woman will replace it as a sunshine at home when going to marry Kenzie. But what's going on?

What did he get out of all that false hope?

He was crushed, let down, betrayed and became the source of endless pain in his chest. Humairah hate!

"Yes, what's wrong with my sister?" Azira answered slowly.

Humairah smiled wryly.

"You're not my brother. You don't deserve this title anymore. And you're not part of us, you're not worthy of our family." These words are spoken in one breath.

Pouring out some part of his heart.

Azira nodded in understanding. Not surprised by what Humairah said. He had guessed it from the beginning. Dear thousand dear, she had never considered herself a part of them, so these words had no effect on her.

"Yes, I know and I don't care either. After all, living with my husband is much more comfortable and enjoyable than living in your home. Oh my God, are you here to meet my husband? Humairah, I'm sorry before. My husband is not here. She's on-"

"Azira!" Shouting Humairah hysterical.

Both of his eyes were reddened withstanding the pain.

Azira was surprised, "Humairah don't shout, this is a hospital and not your home." Meditate Azira with a seriously contrived tone.

"Azira, are you not ashamed? How dare you appear here after what you have done! Everyone at home or here knows what kind of person you are and what you have done, but I did not expect that you would still be so brave to appear here. Azira, if I were you, I would rather die than show off my face to be scorned. Really, disgusting." Humairah said sharply while looking at Azira with eyes bulging fearlessly.

Embarrassed?

Azira has long forgotten this since she fell in love with Kenzie. Despite her feelings still being a corn, she did not care at all. All she knows is Kenzie's first love so she has to hold onto him tight.

"It's a shame, but you're far more shameful than me, sister." Azira said weakly.

"What?" Humairah was impressed by his words.

"Isn't this embarrassing? Even though Kenzie was married to me, but you still chased him until it made my husband afraid to come to the hospital. Humairah, please stop. My husband is uncomfortable with the pursuit you are doing. He was very upset and even intended to just stop working here so you wouldn't bother him anymore." Azira said back to scorn.

What he said was not true. Kenzie never said it all to him. Azira deliberately lies to humiliate Humairah. It was very annoying to hear all the words of Humairah. So to humiliate him he had to lie.

"No way.." Humairah's face immediately turned deathly pale.

No, he did not believe what Azira said. That must be a lie.

Seeing Humairah start to waver, Azira's face immediately shone brightly.

"I'm his wife, why should I lie to you? If not, then why didn't he ever come looking for you or reply to messages and just pick up the phone from you?" Azira squinted her eyes testing Humairah.

He just wanted to test the Humairah. Who knows the reaction of Humairah is very harsh and indirectly confirms his guess.

"Azira, enough! He didn't come to see me and reply or pick up my phone, so why? Isn't that natural for couples who are fighting?" His trembling hand held back the pain as well as anger.

What Azira said was very on target. Up to this point Kenzie never came looking for her to express an apology. Even Humairah was looking for him first. But Kenzie always ignored him. Blocking her number so Humairah can't reach her. It's all true and why!

Humairah knew but he was very afraid to admit it. Constantly lying to her that Kenzie would one day turn to her.
