Mahram To Azira

Mahram To Azira
Chapters 20.1

Azira frowned uncomfortably being stared at like that by Meri.

Meri looked at him with a look of judgment. At first glance, Azira felt that Meri did not like her too much. Weird, right?

They've only met now but Meri doesn't like it very much.

But Azira does not want to bother with Meri. They don't know each other and Azira can't make everyone she meets like her.

"Good night, Meri." Azira shakes the hand of Meri who has long been unemployed.

Meri awakens from her daydream. Before he said anything, Azira gave up their posts.

"Have you two had dinner?"

Nabil and Meri looked at each other. They had just arrived after driving from the city and were a little tired of being hungry as well. Once they were here, they immediately searched Kenzie's tent without delay. In a hurry, they forget to fill their stomachs.

"No, we just got here and are starving." Meri needn't be too polite in front of Azira.

Azira did not take his heart and just behaved normally.

"Oh, we heard you guys were coming on vacation here, huh? How many days?" Azira.

The guni was impatient. Especially if the interlocutor Azira. Um, Nabil explained Azira's background before coming here so he looked down on Azira.

How could Azira who is poor and comes from the dirty world side by side with Kenzie who incidentally grew up with a good education and was also rich?

This is not fair.

But when he found out that Azira was a substitute, he immediately felt comfortable.

"We're going on holiday here from tonight following you." Reply Meri did not have time to filter her answer.

Nabil silently cursed the mouth of his fiancee's bucket.

Then Kenzie would know why they came here!

"Ah, so you're following us." Raise one of his eyebrows, "but we'll be home tomorrow morning. Then you guys are going home too? Are you two actually planning a vacation?"

Azira asked in astonishment at once not understanding. There's nothing strange about taking a Kenzie vacation here. You think it's natural for a friendship. But wouldn't it be silly if they only came here for a while to sleep and tomorrow morning they returned back to the city. Isn't that too expensive?

The journey they took here was not messing around far away and was very tiring.

Azira is skeptical they can continue the journey tomorrow. Especially for Meri. She must be exhausted and unable to get out of bed tomorrow.

"You're coming home tomorrow?" Meri surprised.

Nabil also did not expect that Kenzie and his entourage would return home tomorrow.

"Can't we be pushed back for a few more days so we can go home together to the city?" Nabil spoke casually with Kenzie.

Kenzie removes the head indifferently.

"We're only here for 3 days and we'll be home tomorrow. If we add more time then our work will be chaotic because for this holiday we only arrange three days leave." Obviously Kenzie was in an alienated tone when speaking to Nabil.

Meri and Azira did not feel Kenzie's isolation, but not Nabil's. He suddenly felt awkward dealing directly with Kenzie. Though he had tried to pretend to be relaxed and calm in front of Kenzie before, but it turned out that there was finally him still nervous as well.

"Oh... So it's a pity. Why didn't you tell us if you came here on vacation before. If you tell me earlier, I will definitely take my time to come on vacation here with you." Nabil complained.

Kenzie laughed flatly.

"It's my honeymoon, why do you think I should bring you here?" The implication is that Kenzie is unlikely to bring bullies into his honeymoon event.

Nabil understood. And he got embarrassed because of Kenzie's candor.

"Haha... How are you still. We are friends. Since I didn't come to your wedding, so why didn't I come to your honeymoon?" He said while laughing.

"Mas, talk to Nabil and Meri. I'm going to the kitchen to get some food. Kasian your friends haven't had dinner yet." Azira's permission to Kenzie.

She immediately went half to get a light nod from her husband. Go to the kitchen and meet again with Ayana. Ayana's expression is too strong. He looks like a sprain.

Because Azira cared so she approached him to ask. Maybe he has a problem with Fathir. Household issues generally they can talk about both.

"Ayana, what's wrong with you?"

Ayana took a long breath.

"Sir Kenzie talked to them again, huh?"

Azira nodded. While talking to Ayana, she started preparing food for them. There are still barbeques that have not been spent. So Azira heats it up again because it is still edible.

"still. Why why?"

Again Ayana took a long breath. He sounds troubled. Azira was confused about what kind of problem her cousin was facing so that she repeatedly let out a long sigh. Could it be that the matter is very heavy?

"Sir Azira, you are too kind. Sometimes I see you are a strict and meticulous person, you are good at judging someone. But sometimes I also notice that you are generous. You are easy to be gentle to new people or strangers. Azira this is not good. Be careful of new people. I didn't teach you to be a bad person, no, you have to be a good person but, well also in judging someone. I'm just saying, not everyone's good. That's all." Ayana said half in doubt.

He didn't like it, Nabil, he never really liked it. His reason?

Simple reason. Nabil is Amara's cousin.

They are one family and must have one mind. Moreover, she heard from her husband a few days ago that Amara would return to Indonesia. Of course he came back here after hearing the news of Kenzie and Azira's marriage. It's still good that he doesn't pursue the past, but what if he pursues the past?

No, it's not important. What's important is what if Kenzie can't forget the past?

What should they do to Azira?

Azira,

Ayana looked at this beautiful and skinny woman. She had just been happy and had to be in trouble again, Ayana was speechless.

"Ayana, thank you for your reminder. I really appreciate it." What Azira does not say is that Ayana takes her too highly.

He had long gotten used to wallowing in an annoying and painful life. All kinds of characters and characters of man God has shown to him. Good people, bad people, bad people, weak people, cowardly and disgusting. He saw the faces of this man.

Even the person wearing the mask, in front of him was always nice but behind him had a very bad attitude, he had already seen everything.

Then how could it be that after all this he had gone through he was unable to discern one's character?

Azira is silent but that does not mean not knowing. And Azira doesn't show it doesn't mean she can't see.

Speaking of Nabil. Positive thinking is the only reason to respect this person. Nabil may not like it, Azira is not stupid,

"It's nothing. Oh yeah, I'll help you."

He finally felt relieved. After that he helped Azira serve food and sent food to both guests.

After sending food to them he went straight back to his tent to talk to Fathir.

In addition to private toilets there are public toilets. But it's a little far from his tent and Kenzie's.

"Let's come with me." Azira gets up from her seat and leads the way for Meri.

Behind Meri followed obediently.

As the two of them were some distance away from where Kenzie and Nabil were sitting, he suddenly sped up his pace to level with Azira. His coquettish eyes looked at Azira, again making a rough assessment that Azira was too lucky to be with Kenzie.

"What do you see of me?" Tanya Azira flat.

He smiled slanted.

"Is it fun?" Ask origin.

Azira had no idea what he was really asking.

"Which one?"

"Being a substitute. Was fun? You married Kenzie after cheating on your own sister. But in marriage you are only treated as a substitute by Kenzie because the person he likes is not you, but Amara. His first love." The answer was blunt without considering Azira's reaction.

Bugs

Azira's heart was pounding. She was restless, the uneasiness that was once felt when she heard Amara's name mentioned by Ayana in the hospital came back. He knew that it was inappropriate to trust this woman right away, but what to do, his heart was in a panic right now. He could not control his heart to think about things that were not.

As replacement?

Could it be that what this woman said was true?

Azira hesitates. But then he recalled how Ayana hesitated expression when telling him about this woman while in the hospital. Ayana's attitude is not right. Alright, Amara is indeed Kenzie's first love, it is indeed a part of the past but what if..

What if Kenzie still hasn't forgotten the past and made himself just a substitute?

"Shocked' right? Among the many girls known to Kenzie, you are the only woman who bears any resemblance to Amara. Your body shape.hum, just like Amara. You guys are like betel nut halved to look like each other. But for the point face, sorry Azira, I think personally Amara is much prettier than you. So when Amara comes home later, you have to get ready to be kicked out of the house"

"Have you finished talking? If it's over, then let me talk." Azira stopped her steps and stood sideways face to face with Meri's annoying face.

"Is it fun to interfere in someone's life? So you're so unemployed, dad?"

The Meri face immediately flushed in anger.

"Is this a normal person's reaction to knowing his lover's past?" He is completely not out of thought.

Azira laughed cynically, "You're so annoying. After tonight, don't expect to see me and my husband again." Azira said indifferently.

Turn away without giving face to Meri. An indifferent attitude scratches Meri's heart and lungs. He was very angry, really very angry but could only vent it with a curse of anger.

"Basic cocky. Tomorrow when Amara comes home, you're done. I want to see if you can still behave arrogantly in front of me again? Huh, you piece of trash!"

...*****...

The night just passed and the next morning they immediately returned to the city. Then a few days have passed since that day. I don't know, maybe a few weeks or 1 month, Azira didn't count the time. Sometimes Azira was dazed on the spot thinking about the talk of the day. Every now and then he would try to find out about Amara. And the impression she received from the people at home except Kenzie, everyone thought Amara was a bitch because..

Anger is the source of Kenzie's pain, the person who has made Kenzie turn into a different person.

Hearing those people's answers, Azira felt increasingly uneasy. He was scared, really scared. Afraid that one day the person she loves will turn to chasing the past and ignore it.

"What are you thinking? Lately I've noticed you lack appetite and are often in a daze, are you okay, my wife?" Kenzie's warm voice draws Azira from her reverie.

Azira. Her eyes immediately softened at the return of her husband. Because she thinks too much she doesn't know that her husband is home.

"When did Kenzie come home?" Azira hurriedly took her husband's briefcase, helping her husband put his doctor's white coat on the hanger.

"just now. You didn't hear my footsteps."

Azira smiled apologetically.

"I'm sorry, I didn't notice it."

"What are you thinking?"

Umi had told him yesterday that Azira lately does not have a good appetite and often dazed if left alone. Umi is worried that something has happened to Azira so she hastily tells her son.

Azira smiled slightly.

"I'm a little unwell, mas. Lately I've been dreaming about Mom a lot." Azira said admitting.

He often gave me. Dreaming of her mother crying in a corner of the house with a thin body and full of blood, it was the day that Mother was hit by the man who was aunty Safa. It was a sad day but Azira ignored her mother. It came into his dreams over and over again. Making Azira feel more regretful, he thought if only he was not indifferent and was always by his mother's side when he was sick or injured, then maybe the regret was not this deep.

"You miss Mom. I often send prayers to him. You also do not think too much. If you don't feel well then immediately take medicine or consult first with me, let you not be sick." Kenzie said concernedly.

Azira smiled slightly.

"Mas, but people say that if we often dream of the dead let alone it is the nearest dead person then it's a sign that we will soon catch up with them. Mas Kenzie, lately I've been dreaming of Mom a lot, could it be that I'll soon be my mother-"

"Omong empty what are you saying! There is no such thing as following the dead if they often dream of it. Death and life are the secrets of God, we as humans cannot speculate or make random guesses about the secrets of God. As for this dream, just interpret it positively. Maybe I miss you and need a prayer from you, so multiply your prayers in prayer, understand?" Kenzie pinched Azira's cheeks in a fit of anxiety and anger at the same time.

Azira can talk about separation so easily!

Kenzie doesn't like to hear it.

Azira laughed embarrassedly. His heart warmed at the same time. Her husband was very attentive to her. Azira was very grateful.

"I understand, mas." Azira replied obediently.

"By the way later in the afternoon there is a gathering event with me. Should you come with me there?"

A get-together?

Azira is not feeling well. Body's limp. But since this was a direct request from her husband then she would not refuse. In addition, her husband rarely went out to gather with his friends. Therefore Azira was very willing to go with him.

"Yes, mas. Where are we gathering?"

Kenzie doesn't know yet.

"Wait for my friends to send the location."

Azira nodded and did not ask again.

"Has Kenzie eaten yet?"

Kenzie shook his head. He hasn't eaten in the hospital, but he's not hungry either.

"I'm not hungry yet. That's why it's at the event."

Azira counted in her heart, the show was later in the afternoon and it would take a few more hours, since Kenzie was willing to wait there then she must have been looking forward to this meeting. Azira wonders what her husband's friends are like to the point of making her husband very excited about meeting them. One thing Azira realized today was that her husband loved to smile. Ah... There must be a good thing that her husband was waiting for on the show?
