It's 5 in the afternoon. His heart started to beat. As his eyes stared at the wall clock inside the kitchen, his reaction grew even more strange. She's feeling nervous. Em, though he always said that he didn't care about Kenzie. But his anxious eyes and heart had betrayed his own mind. This was the umpteenth time he had seen time. He was annoyed with his own concern but could do nothing about it.
"Sir Azira, called Umi. He said he was told to go straight to the living room if the coffee was done."
Sasa shouted from outside on the sidelines of learning activities. Sasa was working on a task in the living room. There was Azira who accompanied but Umi suddenly asked Azira to make several cups of coffee. Judging from how many cups were requested, it seemed like there were guests coming.
"Yes, Sas. Just a minute." Reply Azira.
He shook his head unwilling to take a dizzy look with his complicated mood. His hands moved swiftly arranging the coffee on the tray. After that he took out two dishes on the shelf, opened the refrigerator and took out two boxes of cookies with two flavors. Chocolate and strawberry, each plate has these two flavors.
"Okay, done."
Sasa went into the kitchen.
"I'll help you take it, brother." Without waiting for Azira's answer, she took a tray of cookies.
Azira smiles.
"Thank you." He was originally willing to ask Sasa for help since he couldn't possibly carry two trays at once.
But before he called, Sasa first went into the kitchen.
The two of them then went to the living room with their respective trays. In the living room there were more than three people. Azira did not know them because she had never seen these people.
"They are Umi's family, brother. Her name was Roni's uncle and Indring's aunt, while the girl in the red headscarf was Frida, their only daughter. The three of them live outside the city. That's why when you get married..." When mentioning marriage, Sasa rubbed his nose awkwardly.
"They can't be present because of the distance." Whispering.
"Azira, come here." Umi waved to him.
Azira obediently sat beside Umi. Seeing Azira leave, Sasa followed her away and naturally sat down beside her. His round eyes blinked at the busy 'sook' guest who had just taken the time to visit home.
"Sasa, long time no see?" Frida greeted him with a sweet smile.
Sasa smiled slightly, then nodded small. After that she turned her gaze to pay attention to Azira without thinking about her cousin's feelings. Seeing Sasa's estranged attitude, Frida's smile dimmed. He let out a long breath saying nothing more.
"Azira, let's introduce they're our Umi family. Salim to your uncle and aunt."
Azira nodded obediently. He wakes up and greets everyone including Frida. Just like Umi, they all had friendly and generous smiles. Azira felt quite comfortable. What confused him was...
Why did Sasa seem unhappy when he saw them? Azira was confused.
"Umi, who is she?" Just sitting back on the couch, Frida suddenly asks Umi who Azira is.
Before Umi replied, Sasa immediately spoke.
"Of course his wife is Kenzie's sister." Said Sasa in a loud voice with a proud tone.
"Oh," Frida shut her mouth in shock, seeing Azira hesitating,"But shouldn't Kenzie's sister's wife be Humairah?"
The warm atmosphere in the room immediately descended. Frida's question isn't wrong but it's not exactly right. This is a very sensitive issue for families.
