Facts about pt 2

"Tools that were once just displays, are now turning into controlling media."

*****************#####*****************

Upon Nindia's arrival in her hometown, she immediately went to the Mayor who was her own father. The mayor, who was not aware of the sudden arrival of his daughter, immediately postponed all his activities and met Nindia.

Soon Nindia handed the rabbit-shaped badge to her father. At first, the mayor thought that the story told by his daughter was just a hoax. He had never seen anyone who could be controlled with a badge.

"I think that guy cheated you, son."

"Dad, I know this is impossible but believe me," exclaimed Nindia with confidence.

"Did you find anything on this badge?" ask the mayor seriously.

Nindia was silent for a moment, she was confused as to what to say. His confidence began to decline with the many questions from his father.

"I think you already know the answer."

The mayor said as he placed the badge on the table.

"Ta, but dad...!" nindia panicked. He tried to convince himself that something was wrong with the badge.

"I'm sure, I'm sure. Because after the badge was removed from his body, he just realized," explained Nindia when her father was about to leave the room.

"Well, you better go back. I still have a lot of business here."

The mayor opened the door to the room. But when he was about to step outside, something strange happened.

The badge trembled so tightly that the table he occupied shifted inside. Slowly black smoke began to billow around the badge. The badge immediately shot up into the air, as if black smoke was pulling it up.

Neither Nindia nor the Mayor felt that this was unnatural. The mayor who had opened the door wide immediately closed it back so that the badge could not fly out of this room.

"What'sthis? what really happened!" the mayor was shocked. He with his earth elemental strength immediately locked the badge with the roots of the trees around them.

"Nindia, call Phel immediately."

Nindia came out of the room and immediately went to look for Phelian.

Phelian was a necromancer, he was famous for his way of controlling the undead. Basically, Phelian was an ordinary human who accidentally inhaled the mana of death in this eastern region. With the help of his father Nindia as Mayor, Phelan was treated and grew up there as a necromancer.

Moments later, Nindia returned to the room with Phelian beside her. Phelian, who was aware of the black power that was struggling in the room, immediately entered and tied the badge with his power.

"Uncle, leave this to me!" phelian shouted as he let out black smoke on both of his palms. The black smoke then soared and then formed a triangular prison box.

"I'll tie him up" said Phelian as he tried to put the badge into his prison. After the badge made it in, the atmosphere of the room returned to how it was.

"Ah, I'm tired."

The old mayor looked sweating profusely. Some of his clothes were wet so that he showed his body shape like torn bread.

"Get me some water" he lamented, telling one of his subordinates to take a cold drink.

"Where did my uncle get this thing?" phelian asked with his cold face.

The mayor pointed to Nindia because she was tired of explaining. Phelian then looked at Nindia who looked confused by the badge that was already inside the cage.

Nindia then looked towards Phelian while asking, "What is this thing really." Phelian plainly explained that this thing was the controlling medium.

Nindia who heard Phelian's words could only shake her head. He now understood why Baron Vigui had gone mad like an undead.

"Huh, shit. I guess there must be something wrong with that crazy thing" he said as he glanced at his father who was currently turning his eyes elsewhere.

"Son, where did you get this thing?" ask Phelian again.

"Kingdom of Guira,"

"Good, this is crazy!" pekik Phelian. He knew little about the Kingdom from several books and stories told by black fairies who had stopped there.

"I think the Kingdom is very good, but what is this?" phelian asked disappointed. It was like getting a blow that he had never imagined.

"Do you know anything?" tanya Nindia was confused by Phelian's current attitude.

"Sister, this object is a medium that is often used by illusionists to bewitch their subordinates. He did that also to his enemy, so by this..."

Phelian paused for a moment, then looked back at the badge that was still flying around erratically in the nest.

"With this object, the illusionist can control anyone who is affected. He could also order them to act as he wished. And you can see for yourself."

"This smoke shows how powerful the medium is. The blacker the smoke, the stronger the medium."

Phelian's explanation suddenly made Nindia and the Mayor feel goosebumps. They had never thought that an inanimate object could be such a terrifying tool.

"Can you explain, what is a real illusionist?" asked Nindia curiously.

"Illusionists have almost the same power as me, only they need a medium to channel its power. Whereas I don't" Phelian explained slowly.

"Illusionists usually have partners to work with, and usually their partners are animals. Like rats or animals. Unfortunately, we cannot dispel the illusion by killing the illusionist because the spell will still survive. Other than the illusionist himself, no one can break the spell, except..."

Phelian then pointed at the badge with his index finger.

"Unless he uses media like this. This badge will easily come off and can also be taken anywhere without having to be around the person. Because the illusion has a control distance, so if the distance is too far, then he will live like a corpse," Phelian explained.

"Huh, now I know."

Nindia then stood up from her seat and decided to meet Dusk.

"I'm going to tell this to Miss" he exclaimed as he exited the room.

"And one more thing, Phel. I want you to keep an eye on the badge and if anything strange happens to him again, let me know immediately" Nindia continued before closing the door.

After hearing the entire Nindia story, now Dusk knew the reason why the people of Guira Kingdom became such a freak. In addition, the same influence also occurred on the territory of Count Difani who made Dusk more convinced if the illusionists must be around them.

"Do you still not know who the real illusionist is?"

"Sorry Miss, I can't trace her at all with just that badge."

"All right, I get it."

"But Miss, Phel told me that the badge must be connected to its owner, so we can still find traces of it."

Dusk was silent for a moment before nodding in understanding at Nindia's words.

"Alright, I leave this task to you again."

"Well Miss and..."

Nindia was silent for a moment before continuing her sentence.

"Thank you for believing in me."

Nindia then left the Dusk room as Dian walked into the room with a few tray of cookies.

"Dian, prepare the teleportation immediately. We will go to the dormitory" exclaimed Dusk as he stood up from his bed.

"Geez, Miss, are you crazy, huh?"

"I guess so," replied Dusk indifferently before putting the macaron into his mouth.

"Huh, jesus!" pekik Dian frustrated. He got out of the room and did his job.

A while later, Dusk and Dian and Eza were already inside the Dusk room. There Eza returned as usual. He kept Dusk as before while Dian remained beside the lady.

"Dian, prepare everything for the party later tonight and tell Eza to prepare the horse carriage as usual."

"Well Miss," replied Dian then left Dusk alone in the room.

"Finally, I came back too," Inner Dusk as he walked towards the balcony of his room.

"This place hasn't changed at all, it's just..."

The words of Dusk came to a halt as he looked towards the sky, there was a huge dome similar to Ristia's but it felt more complex and complicated. The dome has covered the entire academic area since its renovation.

"Strong, yet not stronger than Ristia's. Yes at least this dome is enough to overwhelm intruders," he continued indifferently.

Dusk then looked at the area under the building where his two best friends were walking into the dormitory.

"They're back," she said flatly as her two best friends began to disappear from her sight. Dusk then refocused looking at the dome that shines bright even though the day is still relatively bright.

"Like a prison, man,"
