"Consistency is the most important exercise key of any exercise technique."
*********************####*******************
Two days had passed since the meeting of Dusk and his four companions. He was relieved because their condition was fine. Fortunately, they do not give up easily and continue to try to correct the mistake.
"It's time for a practice session" murmured Dusk before he exited his room.
It's been almost a week since Dusk vacuumed from his training with Lucas. Because Lucas' personal affairs could not find Dusk and the training session was delayed.
"Yes fortunately Lucas' problem was a blessing to me,"
Dusk recalled his training with Sera. Although Sera did not directly train him but it was very useful for Dusk in repairing his Meridians.
Now the Twilight meridian has been sewn up to the fourth circle. And of course it took two days for him to be able to sew the fourth circle. This is because the larger the circle of the meridian, the more difficult it will be to sew.
"There are three more circles until my vitality returns to what it was before."
After thinking about it all, Dusk chose to get out of his room and go towards the classroom. This time the class will be conducted a casting session where all students will cast magic spells previously learned.
"Each magic has its own uniqueness, so don't get too fixated on others and focus on shaping your own magic."
Prof Daru gave instructions to the students to cast after the defensive magic pattern had already been refined.
Although the lessons are boring but the practice directly enough to make the students excited. They enthusiastically began to refine the magic patterns that were still incomplete.
"It's so easy" exclaimed one of the disciples while describing the rune pattern around the defensive line.
"Right as well, just do this and this."
His other friend on followed in his footsteps cheerfully. They did not know that Prof Daru was currently smiling intently at them.
"Hahaha, it's so easy." exclaimed the other while trying to perform the same action.
"They've gone crazy, don't they know if the rune pattern is dangerous."
"I had to study for a month because it was difficult to learn." murmured Dusk while recalling the exhausting learning session with Vanilla.
It is not that Dusk is not like rune magic just because the complexity and detailed details make Dusk lazy to teach it.
"If it wasn't for Vanilla's protests since the confinement, it might have been me..."
Dusk recalled Lucas' sour face before he was left alone in the room. Even so Dusk was pleased that he was able to escape from Lucas thanks to Vanilla's rune magic.
"From that incident Vanilla asked me to learn rune magic even if it's just the basics."
The defensive rune magic that had to be instilled on the inn magic pattern was not very complicated. But it was not as easy as the students had said before. Still Dusk had to take great pains to create a perfect rune pattern.
"As far as I can go, this is the furthest." murmured Dusk who began to focus on his work.
When Dusk was cool and focused in his rune magic, Kira who had been watching Dusk had started to behave strangely. He felt that the physical condition of Dusk had somehow started to improve and that was not good for his situation.
"Didn't he die a few days ago? So why is this now,"
With a tense face Kira bit her fingernails one by one. He felt failed and frustrated when he had to report this incident to Dira.
What Mari and Tasya were going to say was not very important to him but Dira was a different case.
"If Dira does not acknowledge me then the position will be lost." Kira grumbled when thinking about the position of Mari and Tasya who was getting stronger while he was just a dry pole at the corner of the road.
"I can't just shut up,"
Kira was also upset that a week ago she had to get sick from drinking the poison prepared for Dusk. The poison was supposed to belong to Dusk and somehow he had to drink the poison in his place.
"All because of that jal*ng." muttered Kira who was still reminded of the pain of the poison.
Fortunately he could quickly drink the antidote, otherwise it was impossible that the one who would die was not Dusk.
"Moreover I have to convince them not to divulge about the poison."
Kira gave a quick glance at her classmate who adorned the pattern with rune magic. He had to go to great lengths to convince them that it was not Dusk who poisoned him but he himself who ate the wrong thing.
After a long struggle with his thoughts, Kira then walked slowly closer to Dusk. He threw away his entire ego and started to smile cheerfully.
"Senja," called Kira while looking at what rune pattern the girl was drawing.
Twilight sweetly greeted Kira, she looked pleased with her innocent face. Kira who saw it instead laughed internally because of the stupidity of Dusk.
"Are you done?" tanya kira when you want to see in detail the rune pattern belonging to Dusk.
"Don't, still not."
Dusk shyly covered his magic pattern, he did not want Kira to see his chaotic rune pattern.
"Bas stupid, just can't." Kira's inner self as she saw Dusk hurriedly cover up her magic pattern.
"If you're having a hard time, I can give you an example of mine."
"No, thank you. I want to make it myself."
"Well, if there's any trouble don't hesitate to ask me."
"Umh, fine."
"In addition, have lunch with..."
DUAR....!!
DUAR....!!
Kira's words came to a halt as a violent explosion occurred at that place. The explosion came from the student who made the rune magic earlier. He and some of his friends were thrown away when the casting was just done.
Prof Deru who saw the incident immediately helped them and rushed to move to the nearest UKS room. While the rest of the disciples could only see the scene with faces full of question marks.
A few moments later, Prof Deru returned with his unfortunate face. He glared at the remaining students with a cynical look.
"I told you that land magic isn't a child's toy but what is it? Do you want to be like them?"
All the silent students including Dusk and Kira, they did not expect that casting could be so dangerous if the magic patterns were wrong.
"I hope you all learned a lesson from this incident. After that I want to see the complete land magic without any flaws like that."
After saying it all, Prof Deru allowed the students to take a short break and would go back to testing them 30 minutes later.
The twilight that saw the incident could only let out a long sigh. To be honest, he had also experienced a casting explosion while training with Vanilla, only that he was fine because of the protective feel of Ristia.
"It's a good thing I covered this rune pattern from her,"
Dusk glanced at Kira who was still glued to her place. I don't know what he was thinking but at this time Kira looks pale with cold sweat that has broken her back.
"I guess, sorry I have to focus on this rune pattern." exclaimed Dusk with his sad face. He then left Kira alone.
"Damn it, I forgot what to say before" Kira muttered as she looked at the back of Dusk away from the field.
****
30 Minutes had passed and now the students were again gathered in the field. They are still shocked by the incident but prof Deru did not relax his lesson at all.
"I've set the distance between each of you, so do it right. If you guys fail in the magic pattern, then the casting will be cancelled instantly."
The students began to take their place and began to form magic patterns like before.
"And of course if you fail, then we'll meet again in the next semester."
The next words from Prof Deru managed to make them shudder in horror. Although this is not a midterm exam, but the assessment of practice is higher than theory.
If they fail here, then surely their value will go down. And it will also have an impact on the value of this next class.
"There are still two months left until the midterms are held and..."
Prof Deru deliberately hung his sentence so as to make the students deg-degan wait for his next words.
"And there are still two more practicums that have not been done" continued Prof Deru.
The panicked students were now increasingly tense and agitated. They felt that this class indeed deserved to be called the hardest class of the entire class they had ever experienced.
"From now on" cried Prof Deru who made their daydreams unfold.
